For a solo development, it is pretty cool but as a game that I paid $$ for, it is a failure.

Beasts of Maravilla Island
Beast of Maravilla Island is a wonderful addition to the “fantasy animal” photography genre but with a very nice twist. IT’S NOT A “CART ON RAILS” photo safari, it’s SEMI-OPEN WORLD!!
Now that I have your attention, if chill photo safari games with adorable and well thought out animals are your jam stop reading now and go pick this one up. This game is super fun and satisfying getting all the “best” shots of all the different critters. Not to mention finding all the different critters can be a bit of a challenge as some are VERY well hidden,

Edit: So I just finished Beasts of Maravilla Island, and it was a very nice game indeed - I’m changing my review to positive, because the devs showed fantastic reactivity to the players' feedback, and that’s more than appreciable; but also because the game truly pleased me.
As said before (or after lol) it is one of peacefulness and contemplation, of nature and ourselves, as humans thus beasts, with a simple but timeless message, which felt very refreshing. Even if all the wildlife depicted in Beasts of Maravilla Island is an imaginary one, it doesn’t remove any of the game’s charm, at the contrary - as exposing existant fauna and flora might have possibly been a bit more boring to the players.

Glyph☀️
Glyph is challenging and relaxing platformer. That’s a rare combination to see but in this case it really works well. There are multiple different level themes with their own personal soundtracks to create nice and relaxing atmosphere. Some are darker while others raise you above to clouds.
The learning curve in this game has been balanced well with the levels. At the beginning you feel like you can collect everything quite easily and you get in to nice mood. Then levels get harder but you don’t really notice it that well because you start to be in control of your character and it does what you want it to do.Even harder levels won’t feel impassable because you’re not forced to collect everything and the mechanics are simple to learn. What you need is little creativity to reach harder places.

One of the smoothest platformers I’ve ever played. It can be a bit frustrating when you first are learning, but once you get the hang of it, you literally start to fly. The world is your oyster- er… scarab!

The levels are condensed, short and mostly unique, providing amazing replay value after hundreds of attempts. They’re also in a 3D space, so optimization becomes more of an interesting challenge! (I definitely haven’t played Broken Road 1000 times, what are you talking about)

Bouncy Cat
An Addictive Collect-A-Thon Plarformer + Time Trial Game
What stands out is the unique physics-based size morphing mechanics. I’ve never seen a game character control quite like this. The three different sizes modify the cat’s size, weight, and the way it reacts to surfaces. The controls make it fun - if a bit challenging - to discover and master the manoeuvres needed to navigate the varied levels and obstacles.
Learning to navigate is needed to gather the items necessary to progress through the game or, for those who are up to the challenge, complete the game with all items collected. Not only will you be reward with a collectable upon reaching an item, you can often earn a bonus collectable for reaching that same item under a specified time (restarting the level is instantaneous which is very much appreciated for trial and error purposes when attempting the harder time trial objectives).

I would highly recommend this game for those seeking an interesting platforming experience. There is a sense of progression as you go about the game, unlocking new levels and hats, which motivates you to complete the game further. The yarn ball hidden in each level serves as another challenge which motivates the player to explore the level further. The different areas create a sense of diversity which helps keep the game from becoming stale, and the concept, while simple in design, is thoroughly explored throughout the game.

Collector Thief is a singleplayer game created for the unique purpose of entertaining players with a complete story while keeping its gameplay at high difficulty from the first minute of gameplay. It has the simple controls that make the experience enjoyable but it gets into the type of game that is easy to play but difficult to master. It is a complete experience of intelligence, good humor and creativity.
Foxen Island
This is another game where I wish steam had something more than a yes or no rating. It’s kind of slow pace as far as finding things though that is not a bad thing over all. Is cute and has a bit to explore though the second section isn’t out yet as far as I can tell. Also if you like this game you may also enjoy Chinbu’s Adventure.
Biggest problem this game has is control. Camera follows fox but fox does not follow camera so turning is a bit jarring. Also the drift when stopping can take some getting use to. Also there is no look up or down which can make it hard to get a good perspective. Even when using the controller turning was very touchy and trying to back up with keyboard or controller really doesn’t work.

Hello, your local fox here! I decided to try this on my stream as the first game for my weekly iteration of Foxxy Fridays on Twitch. The first game I ever streamed was a game called Lost Ember, and this gave me those vibes, but to a far more simplistic extent. It’s a cute game to explore, and I think would be more captivating to a younger audience, than one well-versed with video games. However, I know the game is still in early access, so I am excited to see what more will be added to the final version. I finished the game (early access) in a little over an hour, and was able to obtain 10/11 achievements, however, I was not able to access “Photo mode” to get the last achievement, which was really frustrating, as you can imagine. One other thing that would be really cute to add, is the ability for the fox to sit in the throne chairs. Could just be a little animation where the fox jumps to the seat and sits proudly or something. Basically there is only one objective in this game you must complete using the basic power provided. The hallway corridor is small and short so if you reach the end it just resets you back to the beginning. This is where you will realize that the power is required to progress. By right-clicking you activate her magic powers and the goal is to find all the missing furniture and making it spawn back in its original place. After you place all 23 pieces of furniture down you exit through the corridor and the game is complete. The achievement will be unlocked and that is the end of the game. Probably spent less than five minutes to finish the game. Overall rating 5/10 based on length and difficulty. Cannot complain since it is a free game.

The Great Hide n Seek Expawdition is chill hide and seek game with roguelite elements and local coop for little and big kids. Find all the animal babies that went hiding away in the forest. Play as a raccoon dad or a rabbit mum, explore the environments, find hidden treasures and bring everybody home.
CHILL HIDE N SEEK
The game is a feel-good “find’em-all” game with very simple controls and pleasing atmosphere. It offers short level sessions that you can complete quite fast but you can also take the time to enjoy the views and find all hidden secrets.
PROCEDURAL GENERATION
All maps are procedurally generated to offer a new experience on each level. The lighting and atmospherics change too, ranging from clean sun rise to foggy nights or rainy afternoons.

During your expawdition, you’ll find new animals and new environments to explore. Take the time to find them all: raccoons, foxes, badgers, and more to come! And maybe you’ll stumble across some legendary ones too, who knows?

You can easily play with your kids, nephews, cousins or younger friends, up to 4 players in local or remote thanks to Steam “Remote Play Together” option. The game offers classical but also more seldom Voronoi splitscreen modes. This will make you progress faster!
