The graphics alone make this game worth the 0.59 I payed for it. It’s both fun and challenging. I suggest changing the key bindings under settings because the controls were awkward. I was also having problems getting my controller to fully work with it. I could look around, jump, and dash but I couldn’t walk in any direction so I was stuck playing with the keyboard and mouse.

The Trud

The Trud

What the heck is a Trud? Some sort of baddie I imagine. The cutscenes are in the realm of so-bad-it’s-good, But the game that follows is a good enough spooky puzzle and slow walking simulator.

Update: the dev has updated the game since my previous review and it’s much better. Now the movement is smoother and faster and the game flows better. I enjoyed my second playthrough. Below is my old review from long ago.

Cons:

  • It is absurdly overpriced.

  • 99.9% of the things you do in the game are walking. And the walking is buggy as hell. They might fix it later, but at release it’s pretty bad. If you turn while walking it feels like you bump into invisible walls all the time or maybe the character is tripping over her own feet because the game stops you from moving forward for about 0.1sec. Feels very wonky and at some point teaches you to never look around and just look forward to avoid the glitchy walking.

Legend speaks of a seventh, kinder wolf, but everybody knows an evil witch stole it and keeps it locked away. But Nina has had enough, so she sets on an ambitious quest - go to the forgotten realms, vanquish the witch, bring back Sunday and enough free time for everyone._

The Lost Sunday is a comic book about working too much, told through stories and inspiration from old folklore, myths and tales. We printed this book in English, Swedish,. Romanian and French, and Lost Sunday Comics features the digital version of Nina’s heart-warming adventures.

The magic of Lost Sunday Comics

We love comic books! We feel that the digital comic book market is a bit fragmented and underserved and we want to fix this. We just happen to also love video games so… why not marry the wonderful adventures found in comic books with the magic and enchantment games can offer?

  • A magical library that is rich of life, magic and mystery

  • Books on its shelves that have their own life and personality

  • Special reading rooms customised for each book, that offer a tailored experience

  • A calm and relaxing way to read the digital version of our books - you can turn off all atmospheric effects to just enjoy reading the story

  • Creative ways to bookmark and save progress

Project Grove: Prologue

Project Grove: Prologue

If you’re a fan of atmospheric science-fantasy worlds and steampunk, you’ll be delighted about the optics of Project Grove! You play as 64 year old Edric Tate (cool to have an older protagonist for a change, btw) who explores a new region together with his little helper robot L-P1N. The two engage in playful banter, which is delivered a bit wooden at times, but entertaining in general.

The gameplay is fun, it consists mostly of walking around, exploring and platforming at this point. The progression of difficulty is good in the prologue, although the last few meters are a bit difficult, platforming-wise. You’ll also need patience to figure out some of the puzzles. But the game isn’t super hard, perfectly doable even for somebody who isn’t very familiar with this type of game.

What I loved about this game is a few things

  1. The Graphics were nice, and the atmosphere felt somewhat alive with the whales and weird

jumping spiky balls.

  1. It had Keyboard and mouse as well as Controller options and the controls were smooth and easy to use which is awesome.

Witchfall

Witchfall

Welcome to the world of Witchfall, a land filled with wizards, witches and just about every magical creature you can think of. Legend has it that there is an all powerful object known as the Hawk’s Legacy. To protect this legacy from falling into the wrong hands, it must be kept moving, and thousands of delivery mages traverse the land each day with the assumption they may be carrying said object.

Meanwhile in Ludwick Town, five hopeful little wizards and witches in training are hoping to take on this task one day, and are about to start their final exams. Under the wing of the Great Master Divarnas, they’re sure to have quite the adventure..

- Koemi -

Koemi’s an energetic kitten who dreams of becoming the world’s most powerful sorceress! She’s a bit overconfident and quick tempered, but she has no tolerance for evil and is always willing to help anyone in trouble.

- Rez and Orbessa -

Rez and Orbessa are two inseparable best friends who work wonderfully as a team. Rez can come across as air headed and not always aware of dangers around him… but he’s brave and always ready to protect his friends. Orbessa, however, tends to worry a little too much - but everyone knows that comes from her loving little heart.

- Sloberg -

Sloberg is surprisingly a speedy turtle who wants to pass his exam first-try on principle, and to prove to everyone he’s not a boy to make fun of… Sloberg can come across as sassy and sarcastic, never really seeing the bright side of things. However, deep down he knows who his friends are… and they might even get a smile out of him one day!

- Maya -

Maya is a shy and timid raccoon who works very hard to show people she can be helpful, and hopes to do something everyone will remember! She is always very polite… even to her enemies… and she absolutely loves Strawbs.

- Envel -

Envel.. well, just. Envel. A lovable little sheep who loves to partake in her hobby… flying? She’s a very happy girl as she mostly has her head in the clouds, but very rarely, she’ll come out factual outbursts that can silence a whole village..

Witchfall is filled with many collectibles and other wonderful things to find, many secrets to discover, and a whole bunch of mini games to enjoy! There are also an abundance of Side Quests to take! Those who seek a completionist run can expect a whole bunch to do!

If you’re a fan of trading cards and such… Witchfall is the game for you! Collect over 100 different cards spread around the world, trade them with NPCs to get even better cards, and why not see if you can collect them all? And watch out… some of these cards might just add special bonuses/abilities, and they don’t always carry just benefits with them…
