The Market of Light
This will be many’s first experience with Unreal 5, it certainly was for me. Let me detail why this tech demo has me excited for the future of this engine:
The scalability of detail is something I’ve never seen before at this level. It’s the reason they went with a bug theme for this demo. From a relatively great distance you’ll spot a seemingly unimpressive pile of raspberries, until you land near them and realize every piece of the aggregate fruit is rendered individually in great detail. Games using current engines can pull something like this off by lowering the LOD as you move further away, resulting in that familiar blurry deconstruction of texture and geometry detail. But it’s not present in UE5, those fucking wizards!

Running it using a mobile gtx1060 and it ran at about 28 fps. On that note, it ran really smoothly considering.
This is an incredible demo of what the new UE5 has to offer. At a distance everything looks fantastic but the magic is when you fly up close to everything. Not only does the world seem to “grow” (as in, its vastness is perceived differently depending on how close you are to it. At least in my experience) but the textures are vastly more detailed than youd imagine.
See the crate of walnuts? Go in close and realize each nut is its own entity and that the texture you are seeing isnt just a “skin” but an actual map of texture. All the grooves and roughness of the item are portrayed. A letter block? Fly in close and realize that, just like in real life, all the textures are there.

Aery - Dreamscape
In Aery - Dreamscape you play as a bird-like spirit who can enter the minds of other people in order to explore their thoughts, their secrets, and their imagination.
Each person has their own imaginary world and each world represents the thoughts, fears, and ambitions of that person in an interesting and mostly abstract way.
Within an imaginary world, you have to find a certain amount of memory shards to advance with the story and to get to know more about the person in question. Once you have found all memory shards you are free to leave the world again and search for the next mind you want to explore.
Therefore every single imagination world acts as its own small story with its very own theme, design elements, and obstacles.
Experience the feeling of flying, immerse into beautiful and atmospheric landscapes and enjoy the unique storytelling of the game while getting to know a lot of interesting people on the way.

Super Space Towers
Hello World… Working in the QA department for this game was a delight. If I could sum up the game in one word, it would be “Satisfying”!
Piloting the ship is more satisfying than an Instagram ### as the mechanics are very smooth and the graphics are polished. All visuals in the game are very well crafted and are easy on the eye. The sounds effects and visuals work together in perfect sync to create an amazing gameplay experience.
I love the simple, yet hard to master mechanics and the speed-running aspects of the game. It’s a great challenge to top the leaderboards and this gives the game an enjoyable arcade like feel!

So few games like this, with the Thrust / Asteroids type control. Creamy playability and the cargo pickup / dropoff mechanism adds a unique extra dimension to the already awesome physics.
Graphics are crisp and polished, with a cool Nebulus-style rotating tower type effect. Enemies, pods and bubbles etc. sound and flash and satisfyingly when you shoot them. There are some neat design elements such as the elegantly curved platforms of Level 7, the rising water when you shoot water pods, and the slingshot style puzzle from one of the extra levels.

2 points:
-
Regardless of your susceptibility to epilepsy, this game WILL give you a seizure (note the 5.5 hrs on record - i was not conscious for at least 5 of those hours).
-
This is not a duck simulator and is exploitive to waterfowl more generally.
All that being said, I recommend this game. …if only to promote a market where more waterfowl is featured in gaming.

Gardenia: Prologue
TL:DR I don’t know what the final game will turn out to be like, but this Prologue/Demo was a delight to play. It had crafting, questing, collecting, platforming, mining, plus a little gardening. And poop, it had a lot of poop. All of it was fun, even the poop. :[ Cherry on top: this prologue has 7 achievements.
The slighty longer version:
You begin in a tutorial area that you may dump :3 without completing to go straight to your little village. In the village you will meet two animal characters (a la Animal Crossing) that reside there. They are helpful and will ask you to complete 2 quests, for which they will reward you with items you will definitely need. In order to complete those quests you will need to find 5 blue & 3 black mushrooms- this is where the bulk of your platforming gameplay will happen. And you will need to collect and craft some items also. There are some other quests and stuff to do, but it is up to you how much effort you want to invest in finishing the whole thing. It is possible to get all 7 achievements without getting to the end of what the prologue offers, and it is possible to finish it without getting all the achievements.

After completing all me achievements. My personal opinion on this game is.
I like it’s graphic, a more simplistic style. The atmosphere is also very calming. So are the sound effects. I find it funny and enjoyable when you realize the whoosh, hup, blululu are probably made by the same person, it’s just nice.
Personally don’t like too much music on a game where its more focus on nature soundings like wind and bird noises. so a few gramophone so you can hear back its music is nice : (also because I turned it almost all the way down-)

ABC Flappy
This is an educational game. It was designed to literate children in a fun and interesting way. Learn how to spell and assemble words to unlock prizes. You can trace and colour the letters of the alphabet too. Swoop deeply into this amazing adventure alongside Albert, the eager for knowledge bird, flying through the many levels to save his silly friends while learning the alphabet and the very first rules of grammar.
One thing is for granted : You will not get to the end of this journey without learning how to write and read !
Flower
THE ONE-SENTENCE SUMMARY…
Flower is a charming, artistic, ambient game that is worth picking up during a Steam sale to enjoy (and find your calm) for around five hours.
[➕] THE POSITIVES
- The ART. A cornerstone of the game is its art style! The game marvelously captures the feeling of gliding through warm, grassy fields and tight canyon corridors on the currents of the wind, and is a cacophony of color as you spread and bloom life into the world. It’s an unequivocally colorful and wonderfully beautiful game!
– Real player with 6.3 hrs in game
Flower is a rather unique and relaxing experience! It’s a pretty short game, with 6 levels, each starting you off with a single petal. You essentially control the wind, blowing the petal into other flowers to make them bloom, collecting more petals to fly around the map with. As you make more flowers bloom, you bring more light and colour to the map.
The levels are much more varied than I was first expecting, and the environments, while starting pretty plain, generally turn into beautiful, vibrant scenes once you’ve flown through, making the flowers bloom. Even the credits in Flower are done in a unique and wonderful manner, essentially being an extra level for the player to fly through. From my playthrough, there’s one level that’s not as relaxing, particularly if you’re trying to get the achievements, but it’s still a great experience, and makes the following level extra special! They stunning world is truly complemented by the music and sounds too, greatly adding to the whole experience!
