Red Risk

Red Risk

I personally can’t recommend this game for the following reasons:

  - “Microblast Games” developers design a bipolar controls: Left Click to strike/shoot and       Right Click to move, this works for games as diablo not for survival shoot’em up games.

    a. If you are playing as Jason (the melee character), it is an advantage

    b. but if you are playing the ranged characters you just will lose time aiming.

  - The enemies sometimes hit you by only shaking its hands with you. The animations of their      attacks are just bad designed.

Better find something more powerfull then your old shotgun cuz it is only the first location and first… Beast…

Anyway do not worry to much - there should be some stuff laying around, it had owner before but now I don’t think skeletons would mind you taking it.

And the most important, do not go out at night without a rifle or call a freind to carry one for you

FREAKOUT

FREAKOUT

P.R.S (Paranormal Research Society) investigates claims of hauntings, demonic possession, ghosts, shadow figures, haunted objects, and other unexplained phenomena. This kind of work isn’t for everybody but still, you decided to join them. And yes the pay for the job is high. After all, you don’t believe in any of this ghost stuff. Your job is to check the house of the deceased person and places where there are reportedly more paranormal activities and strange incidents occur. You can check the places either alone if you are brave or gather your team of friends who can run, hide and make fun of you screaming. Check the place but don’t get caught by anything or anyone inside.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Immersive Experience

Enjoy the atmosphere with realistic graphics and an immersive 3D Audio system while being chased around the whole place.

  • Single Player

This mode is for the Hardcore players and thrill-seekers who decided to scream all by themself alone in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping in silence.

  • Online Co-op multiplayer

Gather 2-4 of your friends who decided to scream together along with you and check the places. It will give you a little bit of courage when you are screaming together as a team. Trust me with this.

  • More maps, more AI’s, more screams, and more scares

Enjoy the whole new level of gameplay experience each time when a new map is released. Every new map brings with it a new horrifying AI with its unique traits meaning each gameplay will be different.

  • Replayability

No two gameplay will be the same. Items spawn at different locations every time when you start the game and the AI is totally unpredictable. At this point, not even I know how the gameplay will be each time.

This game contains flashing lights that may make it unsuitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitive conditions. Player discretion is advised.

Unfortunate Spacemen

Unfortunate Spacemen

This game has everything a among us player wants plus sooooooo much more.

First of all this game is free and I mean free not loot boxs or pay to win mechanics, there are somewhat overpriced cosmetics but they are purely cosmetic and ad no gameplay advantage.

There is a story mode which is not bad, a survival mode that’s pretty meh, and shapeshifter the reason everyone plays without going into a long wall of text One of you is a monster and everyone’s name is hidden as a color. Instead of scaresolution for example you see blue the monster looks human until he transforms and the twist he can change color.

Unfortunate spacemen is where you play as one of many unfortunate spacemen/women stuck on a station with a shapeshifting monster that’s out to screw you over one way or another. (there are other gamemodes, however the game and this review will revolve mostly around the shapeshifter gamemode)

Pros:

  • Very large amount of replayability, it has a justifiable amount of maps and weapons that show up in random spots, as do the objectives.

  • Fantastic OST, the recently added menu music is something I can’t help but jam out to (I miss the old music though :( )

Snowstorm of despair

Snowstorm of despair

In this game you have to survive in a severe winter, while waiting for salvation.

Survive in a snowstorm

You and your team need to keep the flame in the fireplace. Look for firewood and fuel the flame or you will have to put it in again.

Cooperation or betrayal?

Only you can decide which side to choose. Will you work with your team or betray them when you have a chance? Maybe, you are a good orator and want to build a good trustworthy team? Or do you prefer to create tension and distrust? Anyway, it is you who makes the final decision.

Features of survival

Appearing in a cosy home with your unlucky teammates, you have to find a way out and collect wood for the fireplace to get warm (you don’t want to freeze to death, do you?). Also, you’ll come across some useful items such as food and additional clothes. But make sure that you’re not lost while searching the way to other houses.

What is hiding in the forest?

Yes, there are “human-monsters”, but also there are ghosts of darkness, which are also dangerous. You thought it would be easy, didn’t you?

Stay Close

Stay Close

Are you looking for a horror game to play with your easily-scared friend? Are you looking forward to watch how bad you and your friend are when it comes to solving riddles? This might be the game you’re looking for.

INTRODUCTION:

Stay Close is a nice looking pet project. Even though it’s pretty short game, you’ll love every second of it.

GAME ITSELF:

You and your friend are playing as a married couple. You are lost in some kind of abandoned town and apparently, you meet some weird guy called Cyrus. The room where he is is something like the “hub”. There he gives you tasks to do. From finding his compass to looking for other survivors. He also gives you some riddles to solve and you need to solve them in order to proceed.

I cannot stress to you how excited I was to play this with my friend, but I was left irritated and bored. This game has a good concept, but terrible execution. I need you to believe me on this, DON’T BUY THIS GAME!!

READ THIS:

1. Literally nothing from the trailer is in the game

2. Very repetitive, you have to use the same game mechanics over and over again for the whole game.

3. The game is short, it feels like a demo (beaten in 25 min: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQTDmiayzYY )

4. Bad controls (the running is horrible)

am liking it so far just needs a few tweaks here and there but hey that’s what early access is for.

few complaints and hopes

1. flatface is kinda boring to play at the start being stuck in a locked room for %90 of the game isn’t very fun not as much of a problem once survivors get the lead out and start opening doors.

2. vr for da monstar. this is said to be done later we’ll see if it gets the budget to do that.

3.index support same deal as before said it will be done later but early access can be a bit of a gamble

Edited review -

I had this game set to not recommended, dev didn’t seem dedicated to it IMO. However one of my(and others) biggest complaint did get addressed, only one of each key. The dev does seem to be working on the game still and it’s a fun concept, its based on Damned the Asymmetrical horror game that pioneered this entire genre (Dead by Daylight came along a little later).

I’ve already lost interest in the game my self, but if you wanna give a try I say go for it. You will know in an hour or two if you like it. Player base is currently very low so I recommend you only get this is you have friends to play with….Although they did add a single player mode I see.

This is definitely a “game”, stream it for your friends and meander around aimlessly around an asylum. you can use a shotgun you get halfway through the game to kill the monster for a bit of time, or simply sacrifice one of your friends in the beginning of the game, have them crawl around on the floor and bully the monster into a corner, rendering the threat completely neutralized while you can now peacefully frolic through the fucking directionless labyrinth of a hospital. as someone who plays shit games for a bunch of friends who are shit game sadists, i can say, wasn’t the worst thing i played

Crucible Falls: Together Forever

Crucible Falls: Together Forever

I just found this game by searching for online coop games. And it was my luck!

The game puts the two player on a some kind strange place where they have to work together to escape. On your first run you will encounter some difficult and sometimes maybe frustrating bits but in the end it is a great feeling to finally solve all the puzzles (or maybe not all ;) ) and finish the game.

And me and my friend thought, well we play this game through once and have fun. How wrong we were!

After our first run there came another three playthroughs. For what, you ask? Well to beat the leaderboard on the website of course.

This is not a good game… most of the puzzles become a guessing game and are kinda annoying when you solve them but it makes no sense to you. The Enemies have a very basic and annoying AI that make them just straight up annoying too. But i will recommend this game just for the fun coop experience, its very fun to play with a friend (if you’re both into puzzles and “horror”). If this game got a few fix ups it could be really good.

I do like the coop horror/ coop puzzle “theme” of the game and i hope to see more games like this.

Damned

Damned

Really good and fresh (at least to me) idea.

I spent A LOT of time playing this game, BUT it has some downsides that will be explained later in this review.

The rough idea is being a 1 vs 4 cat and mouse gameplay that’s terrifying.

The 4 survivors can’t defend themselves with weapons, but with caution, quick reaction and coordination. Their goal is to reach the safe room which is locked down. In order to unlock it you have to find the silver key that spawned in a random location on the map. So your ultimate task is to find the silver key!

I’m writing this now, still a little stressed and in the throws of an adrenaline high caused by my friends. First and foremost, play this game with a group of friends who are bad at the game along side you and can get better with you. Playing with randoms online will not help you learn in this HIGH stress environment and the current how-to guides online are only so helpful.

Here’s what you get:

You’re one of the survivors in the haunted hotel/asylum/hospital, and your on a scavenger hunt for keys to open the various locked doors on the map. As you creep around, you deal with randomly generated hauntings that do aweful things like make the dark screen darker, mysterious spooky noises play in your ear, or keyboard keys can even be disabled. All temporary.
