GOOD

  • art style

  • level design

  • boss fights

BAD

  • vehicle sequences

COULD BE IMPROVED

  • available weapons

  • crouch and sneak mechanic

  • environment interaction

Milanoir is a fun and fast pace shooting game. The story is simple and linear, recalling italian crime b-movies of the ’70s. You play as the bad guy Piero, a ruthless hired gun who gets framed after an assasination and seeks revenge after he’s set free with the help of his boss, finding that a lot has changed during his time in jail.

I bought this game immediately after the release, but I ragequitted in chapter 7 and haven’t played for more than a year. Now I finished the normal difficulty, and here are my final thoughts.

Graphic: 4/5 ; If you are a fun of pixelated games, you would love this game.

Music: 4/5 ; Catchy and fun to listen. I love it.

Plot: 2/5 ; Personally, not impressive. Whole story feels pretty weak and not that interesting.

Characters ; 2.5/5 ; While some characters have their own personalities, I felt there are many expendable characters in this game. Many characters popped out and soon disappeared, and nobody ever mentioned again. I like Piero and Africana though!

ULTIMATE HARDBASS DEFENCE

ULTIMATE HARDBASS DEFENCE

Ultimate Hardbass Defence is a game where you fight waves of enemies, playing as bikini clad women, all whilst listening to Hardbass. Since this game has no story, we’re jumping straight into graphics.

Graphics:

I’m pretty certain that this game is a full asset flip. There’s nothing original in the game, enemy models especially feel out of place since most of them are stock orcs and spiders. The women models all look roughly similar to one another as well, with minor difference to them.

Honestly the weirdest game iv’e ever come to play, strangely quite satisfying to play.

Graphics are decent

Gameplay is smooth

Characters are cool

Boss fights are hilarious

Overall: I couldn’t stop smiling when typing this review, it’s one of those game’s that have a very unique concept to it, emm, very straight forward game, achievement hunting is fun, playing with friends is just a blast, I personally enjoyed every hour of this game that I have spent on it, there are bugs, but mainly at the boss fights where they might clip into an object and get stuck, but do get this game, it is quite something to experience with your friends/ or family,

Do you still have some friends left despite your quirks and strange interests? Well we can fix that right quick! Invite your friends and family over for some local co-op. Guaranteed to make people look at you differently during and forever after playing. Say things to your loved ones like “Get out of my butt!”, “Quick, get in my butt!”, or “Block your sister from scoring with her butt.” You won’t realize how sexual the thing you said was until it comes out, because there is no other way to describe what happens in this game.

The Greatest Sausage Party Ever

https://youtu.be/-993XTrkj_w

  • The concept is both shocking and hilarious. You play as a sausage and compete against other sausages in ridiculous mini games.

  • Gameplay is extremely entertaining. Each event is very short, normally under 30seconds which reminds me a bit of the minigames in Mario Party or Wario Ware.

  • Extremely Graphic… you will be penetrating butts, shooting splooge, flopping around, touching tips, tying knots, and sticking your joystick in places you never thought possible.

Oasis VR

Oasis VR

This review will be a comparison between Oasis and VR chat about the pros and cons about both apps.

Oasis pros: Runs and loads faster than VR Chat, you can quickly pick a variety of characters as you open the game, runs smoother and has more features.

Cons: Doesn’t have a big community and most of them aren’t American or British.

VR Chat pros: It has a wider community and a decent amount of features.

Cons: VR Chat lags quite a lot and has gotten worse over the years (in my opinion) and tends putting people off from the app all together.

My One Hour Review Of Oasis.

Far starters and to get this perfectly out of the way. This is a VRC clone which has some added features which I would love to see in VRC. For example the pen system for personal use is awesome. God, sure, chaos will occur if everyone had a pen. But the flexibility of what you can do from just starting the game is amazing. Another plus is the ability to specifically dial down someone’s voice individually. If this was in VRC god that would be amazing, I could lower someone’s voice who is more than happy to share their favorite album of music.

Super Bunny Man

Say what you want about this game, it is undeniably unique for what it is.

The bizarre. The unexpected. You keep asking yourself “Why” and “How” to all questions below:

  • ___ was this made?

  • ___ is it a game?

  • ___ am I playing this?

  • ___ is it the best thing ever?

…and so on.

Seriously, now. I’ve purchased a few controllers recently for local multiplayer, along with some party games, this being one of them. I’ve played with several different groups of friends, and this is among the most memorable ones, because it is simply unexpected. Weird premise, simple controls, constant “What is going on?” feelings, endless laughter, this game is a masterpiece for what it is. And of course, it’s not for everyone. Graphics are simple, fast to clear all stages if you’re savvy enough, but that is not what this game’s about. This is about the wacky stuff, it’s about the catchy-as-hell menu music, about showing it to your friends and seeing their reaction, about laughing yourself off at the fall death sound, about never having the slightest idea of what you’re trying to accomplish, but ending up doing something impressive anyways(not usually though, most times it’s just a funny failure).

I find this game to be a pretty challenging physics platformer. The controls take a little getting used to, but the stages help learn the motions used to get throughout the game. Co-op is a ton of fun, however both players need enough coins to progress in the later levels. The first half of levels can be done pretty easily co-op, but the later levels I recommend playing solo. Getting the speed challenge with two players can be quite challenging. The party mode, i hardly even touched. I only had one other person to play with so we could only do 1v1s. Though having 4 players total would probably be quite fun. I had quite a fun time mastering the game and finally collecting all 120 coins. I hope to see more updates in the future or a SBM2.

G2 Fighter / 基因特工

Just finished up to the current EA. The visual initially had me turn my head the other way, but I’m glad that I decided to give it a try. Below is just based on the Campaign mode. While the multiplayer does work, but it’s really in its bare state and need more work in, so I’ll be updating the review later once launched officially.

Right off the bat, I was greeted with Doug Cockle as the VA for the main character. That was a good sign that the voice acting won’t disappoint and it sure did not. It made the story much easier to get immersed into. However, because this is still in it’s EA, after certain point in the game, the voices haven’t been implemented yet.

Finally played up to the point where the Early Access ended. I would like to write out my own thoughts about the game mechanics, what I think is lacking and needs to be improved, and how the game plays out. (This is right after Chapter two, before the upcoming Chapter three update)

Gameplay

You will start out in the tutorial, which gives the most basic explanation of the game’s mechanics, knowing how each weapon plays out. However, the skills were not properly explored, meaning that the only way to find out how these skills worked was only through grinding missions, random drops or purchasing from merchants as these are the only possible ways to test them out. Bosses have their own distinct patterns that require different play-styles. Mini bosses have some form of challenge to them. Weapon drop rates can be made more distinct with the varying difficulty. The jump from certain difficulties does not necessarily make the game more enjoyable, but can be rather hellish and non-enjoyable. Rewards don’t feel as rewarding as the figures displayed.

Soulworker

I played on Gameforge version before this one, I even tried some privacy server (Burning) and tried the Japan version too, I must have like 3000/4000 hours at least on Soulworker, and close to 1000 here, so time to review the game shall we ?

Is this game good and worth it ? Yes and no.

Good it is indeed, there is a great universe with good and enjoyable characters (playable or npcs), you will certainly enjoy this, especially if you are a “otaku” or a anime girl/boy if I can say it like that. The world is doomed, young people (many girls btw, even a loli) appears to be the only who are able to save it before it’s too late, take your weapon, take your gear, level up into dungeons alone and raids later with people, it’s your destiny awaiting for you !

Real player with 1557.5 hrs in game

It’s a typical cashgrab dps game.

(There’s a full breakdown of just how much predatory rng crap is in the game somewhere in the comments if you want)

The combat tickles the “ooh! shiny!” part of your brain and the story can be engaging at times but that’s about it, it’s a fun one-and-done single player experience.

Right out the gate the same will spam your suspiciously limited unlockable inventory with a half a dozen tiered crafting materials, most of which you will never need but will trigger fomo something gruesome.

TOKYO GHOUL:re [CALL to EXIST]

TOKYO GHOUL:re [CALL to EXIST]

Despite TG being my favorite manga of all time, I can’t recommend this game to anyone. The gameplay is very mediocre, and online has been dead since release. If the game itself had enough content otherwise to offer I’d probably recommend it, but it’s lacking in every other area as well. Significant portions of the story are skipped entirely (more than even the anime skipped, which is saying something), the number of playable characters is very limited (with several characters being boss-only for no real reason, and most others not appearing at all), and the character creation is probably the worst in any game I’ve played. Most of the time spent on the game will be grinding campaign mode to unlock the meager handful of weapons, costumes and characters available, which you’ll be limited to using in that same campaign mode due to online being dead.

Real player with 56.6 hrs in game

a Lot of people are turned off by the graphics but if you can put that aside, overall, This game is amazing. It’s not worth a full $60… I’d say about $40 considering how much content there is in it.

The game is extremely difficult, To get Kaneki’s final form (Centipede Kakuja) (It isn’t the ‘final’ but it’s the hardest to get in my opinion) you have to kill Centipede Kaneki in a Campaign match and it is so difficult that it’s fun.

Whenever you are about to die in this game it gets so scary…

Overall this game is extremely good and while $60 is a bit too much to ask for the game it isn’t a total loss either… This game has so much content, All I’ve been doing is playing it the last few days and it’s extremely entertaining…
