I liked this game for its realism, some minimalistic character. The game has a lot of different cars, very pleased that there is a lot of beautifully designed maps. Because of these reasons and many other things, the game attracts for many hours, I definitely advise you.

Well this is the best Fast & Furious game on PC that i am aware of. Its better than showdown (which i missed on pc but played on PS3, oh dear) and miles ahead of Crossroads. Why? well it takes the premise of the Kids show and keeps it heart but knows we are all here for the cars, racing and gadgets.

The premise is the villain from season one has recruited teh villains from the other series and some old crew to help win the ultimate car. So the Spy Racers enterthe tournament to stop him. Simple plot. If you know the series you know it spans alot of areas so we get locations inspired from them. Sadly no Volcano or underwater levels but hey we do get Mexico, LA, etc…

Bug makes the game impossible to finish…

Basically, after 20+ hours playing, I can’t access the final mission because the game is buggy.

Contacted support and help them to find the issue and after a week their solution is “reset the game, and start again”

This is the conversation in the forum:

https://steamcommunity.com/app/712180/discussions/1/1741094390464039140/

And this is their respone via mail:

“We’ll pass this along to the team to investigate. Currently the only way to reset your levels is to delete your save game. This will mean you have to recomplete the entire game again.”

An abstract and colorful physics playground of vehicular chaos and acrobatic rescue missions, a single featureless human against alien odds must put his driving skills to the test and break his humanoid brethren free from their extraterrestrial captives. It won’t be easy with all sorts of deadly traps and puzzles blocking your path, but through imagination the player will find no end to crazy and interesting ways to break through and commandeer that final beckoning escape airplane at the end of each island.

The Crew™

The Crew™

I love racing games. It’s been so long since I’ve been excited for an open-world racing gaming like this one. One that specifically caters to an aspect often discarded and ignored which is the love of free-drive and exploration. The Crew has its focus there as well as on racing. I was so looking forward to driving around different corners of the states, meeting other players, driving around with my friends and discovering new areas or car brands and acquiring crazy modifications along the way. It has many similarities with other common games such as Test Drive Unlimited 1 mixed with Burnout Paradise for speed, exploration and challenges.

The game is quite fun, and I have spent many hours in it, and will probably spend more too. However… there are some pretty big caveats to this. The price for one; I have the Australia tax, and the base game costs $75USD, not including the exchange rate and everything. Then there is the DLC - each one is a pack of 4 extra cars, hardly worth the price considering they don’t really offer too much more. And then there are the Mi-crew-transactions. Seriously? Extra in-game micro transactions on an already pretty pricey Triple A release? There are two different forms of currency in-game, one which is solely earnt through missions, skills, and stunts. And then there are CREW CREDITS. You are given 100,000 reasonably early on in the game, but that’s not enough for anything good. And so… you are invited to use real life money to purchase these in order to quickly obtain cars or specs that you would otherwise spend countless hours grinding for. The grind for this game is pretty ridiculous - not only do you have to grind for in-game cash (unless you pay real money) for the cars, but then, upgrade those cars, you must complete skill challenges to acquire parts to improve your car… for each individual car. The best parts are also RNG based, so you could easily spend hours farming the same challenge to try and get that specific part you wanted.

Bus Simulator 16

Bus Simulator 16

UPDATED (ALMOST 1year after release update)

Sadly, not much changed in a year. Optimization is still requested by many which implies they havent dealt seriously with the problem. Only 2 DLC have been released and I see them as pure money grabber. They are not offering anything new than buses but those buses look exactly the same as the ones already ingame. The only difference is that they are branded MAN or Mercedes-Benz which (due to having to pay the right to the brands) are ridiculously expensive for the amount of content (and the usefulness of the said content has still to be proven).

I seriously can not understand where the hate this game is getting comes from. It does exactly what it says on the “box”, and does it very well. While not a perfect game by any means, this is a great effort from a smaller company, that fills a niche I’ve personally desired for over 10 years.

When I was a young lass, back in my high school days, I used to take the public bus to commute to school and back, and also to travel from place to place on my weekends. I spent hundreds of IRL hours on various models of IRL busses, and I always wanted to try driving one. This game finally allowed me to live my fantasy. I honestly never thought a company would ever bother to make a bus driving game, but Bus Simulator 16 actually goes above and beyond that, and includes management and a bit of strategy as well.

Bus Simulator 18

With 100+ hours, it’s safe to say that I am very fond of this game. I haven’t played any bus simulator quite as much since Tokyo Bus Guide for Dreamcast. Now that the game is officially released I continue to come back to this game a few times every week like I have with Euro Truck Simulator 2. Keep in mind that I’m a beta tester, but I’ve looked down on many bus sims and I’m finally pleased with this one. It’s not perfect, but lets get into the details.

FIRST, THE SINGLE PLAYER

This game is a delight to play and relaxing. It’s not too relaxing though! Speedbumps, potholes, speed cameras, random road constuction, varying traffic behavor, and pedestrians will keep you on your toes. If you want to be the best bus driver you ever wanted to be, you really have to pay attention to what is around you, including road signs. AI Traffic does a great job of following road rules, but some AI do brake rules sometimes and you have to avoid accidents. Just like real life, don’t completely trust other vehicles with your life!

I do read reviews, I don’t write them.

This game has changed all that. I bought Bus Sim 16as for the first time I could play multi player on a well-designed sim. that wasn’t true, so when this was announced I had no intention of buying it.

However: A preview copy was sent to many Youtubers I watch, and I was really impressed with what I saw, I was excited to play, and couldn’t wait for launch day.

I pre ordered, and downloaded on release and jumped right in.

Few warning bells came with those youtubers, and I should have listened:

Need for Speed™ Heat

Need for Speed™ Heat

It’s hard to not recommend this. It is.

On the one hand, the game looks, feels, and handles brilliantly. It’s creative and fun with great customization options and it was something that I, someone who never enjoyed racing games, genuinely enjoyed and keep finding myself returning to.

Despite the game’s fundamental greatness, it suffers terribly from a lack of content. It’s a game that got virtually no support after its initial release, and it shows. The campaign is anemic, high-end races are lacking, and the game has little to offer beyond just racing and doing tracks, except with occasional dialogue.

Well, this could easily be the best NFS game I played since the glory days of Underground 2 / Most Wanted 2005 / Carbon … here’s why:

  • the visual style at night reminds me of Underground 2, so bonus points for nostalgia here

  • gameplay is quite well-made, game itself isn’t that hard, but still way more challenging than some of its predecessors (especially when playing against high-tier racers and cops)

  • cops are smarter than in most of the previous NFS installments, and also pretty aggressive
