Men of War: Vietnam
After playing this game for a good amount of time and pursuing to beat it on Hard, I’ve noticed this game isn’t the failure that most people deem it to be. In order to play this game, there must be a basic understanding of proper guerilla warfare, and knowing this is VERY useful. This game is not for everyone however. This game is a test of skill for those who are familiar with the Men of War series and its mechanics.
A few thoughts after in-depth play (Post Scriptum Edition):
First of all, if you can earn every achievement without cheating, kudos to you. It is not an easy task to earn all of these achievements, because the final US Mission can be quite intimidating on Hard difficulty.
! Expect to be screaming, “OH MY GOD IT’S LIKE THE FALL OF SAIGON BUT WORSE!” at the end.

Hell yes best game next to men of war 1 assault squad and men of war 2 assault squad in my personal opinion because of the story and how it feels so good it feels right like you have special operations that are so hard and tactical and you have the iconic huge battles And I love it it is awesome and so difficult to beat such as in any men of war game you get shot in the chest you are probably going to die on easy difficulty and it makes it so satisfying after so much planning and hard work to finally solve a huge issue you have I have played 39 or so hours since this review I am posting and I am only on the first big battle mission it is an amazingly good game I recommend it to anyone who loves realism and loves the men of war franchise I haven’t played all the games just men of war assault squad 1 and 2 and call to arms and ostfront and faces of war There are a few more I want to buy as well I love this franchise it is just something I love you got so many advantages and disadvantages but there is always a way through I challenge myself by playing on easy But I make sure no one in my squad dies infantry or special forces I have never had a casualty on the US Army side except the first mission I didn’t plan no deaths till mission 2. my grandpa was in the MAC V SOG In Vietnam after being selected out of the USMC and he told me stories and things about the war when he was in as a soldier from 1956 to 1973 and about his time as a POW and the game captures the Image perfectly special operators pushing in and being such as how my dad was a Marine raider then green beret it is like that and it has uniforms and weapons exactly to the time period of 68 of course there are exceptions but they got the south Vietnam special forces and they got standard soldiers I haven’t seen standard Southern troops but I have seen NVA and Russian and Northern troops native to Vietnam they make it so real and so good and enjoyable to play I love it personally.

Unfortunately. A masterpiece is becoming the commonplace work by unnecessary decoration.I would like to play original ToySoldiers1 without a bug.
I am playing Toy Soldiers and Cold War by XBLA.
Finishing of a clearance of all the difficulty all the stages except DLC of unpurchased Cold War.
A recommended reason is in the expectation for Toy Soldiers1 and Steam Workshop which are probably mounted from now on.
Then, how is Cold War?

PROS
-
Tower defence with fully 3D environments, creeps and weapon behaviors
-
Turrets are varied and use ballistics, as well as AI aiming, instead of automatic guaranteed damage outputs
-
Player can control fully fleshed out turrets or vehicles to take part in the defence, not just a gimmick
-
GI Joe/Cold War 1980s trimmings, with historical weapons and creeps and a good amount of tongue-in-cheek
-
Visuals and sound are excellent (for a game from 2011) Players can also joyfully destroy most level features, leaving levels looking war torn.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam
It’s not just any random Vietnam battleground. No, it’s groups of people that have been in Vietnam way too damn long to realize what they are doing, shooting at each other with rusty-ass guns held together with bandages and duct tape. Squads are forced to stay close together lest the loners and stragglers are descended upon like starving guard dogs leaping upon a man made out of delicious smoked ham. Rock n' roll blared from radios attached to all vehicles will ensure that, at least once in your life, Creedence Clearwater Revival is the last thing you hear as your body is crushed underneath the tank treads. Every fucking reference to a Vietnam war movie IS IN HERE - AND YES, THIS MEANS YOU TOO CAN BLARE RIDE OF THE VALKYRIES AS YOU GUN DOWN THE VIETNAMESE FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HUEY HELICOPTER, MARTIN SHEEN, YOU CAN BE MARTIN SHEEN YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE, IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?
The Vietnam War was a Cold War military conflict that occurred in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from 1 November 1955 to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975. This war followed the First Indochina War and was fought between North Vietnam, and the government of South Vietnam. With the assistance of the US and other anti-commie contries. The Viet Cong, a lightly armed South Vietnamese communist-controlled common front, largely fought a guerrilla war against anti-communist forces in the region.
Battlefield Vietnam is an addon to the award winning Battlefield Bad Company 2. The game takes place during the Vietnam Conflict and is a spin off the the original Battlefield Vietnam. The gameplay is the same as BC2 but its still very good. They have improved helicopter controls and BC2:V has of the era weapons. Over all its a very good expansion and I give it a 9/10
Wargame: Airland Battle
This game has gotten some raw reviews lately by people whome have put very little time into this game. Others have voiced legitimate points over the games campiagn mode. This mode is very lacking but shows just a glimpse of what a campaign can really be if they move in a different direction (i.e. Total War). The maps are set up pretty good with great detail in vegetation and the size of the air space your planes fly in is amazing. Model detail for the vehicles and air power are great while the infrantry is mediocre whitch leaves alot to be desired. The difference between models of air craft is neglegable with no difference in aero-nautical and external hardware. They swap out the skins and say it is a different vehicle despite the fact they look the same.

Before reeding, please accepte that i have bad Englsih :)
90 hourse online and 300 offline game time.
Short: This game are taking the RTS in a new lvl and twist. Cause the game have made it massive and “smal” in the same time. I feel the developer have made it realistic and smoth. And I feel like i have the countroll over whats happening while playing.
Long: I go after 6 thing i going to rank. GIGS-CO
Gameplay:
I find it realy great. It is many thing that bring it easy to play, but in same time funny to countrol. One eks: can give many comands; move fast, move, attack, spread, regroup, split. This is very importan when it comes to winning or losing. (You can say witch direction thay gonne stay at if you are holding in left mouse butten).

Object N
It’s FREE! …but, you get what you pay for.
I gave this a thumbs up only because it’s free…. ONLY. Because. it’s. Free.
I wanted to like this, especially since many people compared it to Half-Life, but …..
Half-Life is worlds better….Alternate Dimensions better, even.
This is more of a “Half-LIE”
or
“Half of A Half of a Half-Life” (One-Eighth-Life?)
or
a “I wish I had the 5-hours I played back so I could play Half-Life”…… kinda game.
This is NOT Half-Life, sorry….it’s not even close. There’s no explanation as to who you are or where, and no chattering scientists making foolish decisions as you listen in. You’re in some big industrial complex with zombies that attack you and non-zombie soldiers that (surprise) attack you. No aliens or mutants (unless you count the zombies) or anything that’s really interesting at all. Soldiers just say they spotted you and start shooting.

DEFINETLY WORTH PLAYING! Starting off, I would like to say that the game is short, it’s about half an hour, or an hour long depending on you. The game doesn’t really tell a story, but it’s an amazing 90’s style shooter, that brings back memories to me, back to when I wasn’t even born. The game’s got this nostalgic feeling to it, and I love it. The game is honestly more fun to play multiplayer, because of it’s wonky movements, and game style. I’d love to see further updates to this game.

Wargame: European Escalation
This is the sort of game I have been waiting for a long time; an ultra-realistic RTS game simulating the tactics of a hypothetical Cold War showdown. As a professional soldier I know the history on the development of all the vehicles I used in combat, but we always wondered how they would do fighting in the role for which they were designed (hint: Bradleys, Abrams and Apaches weren’t meant to fight third world insurgents). All of the Wargame battles require a combined arms fight with knowledge on how to use terrain and maximize the strengths and weaknesses of one’s equipment. This game is an incredible achievement in my mind. When a red horde slams into your position, and you realize that you do not have enough TOW’s to stem the tide, it puts the Fulda Gap into perspective.

I really hate that I have to call this game terrible, but sadly I do. For me, it is almost unplayably bad, and I wish I had never wasted my money on it.
The gameplay mechanics are good; it is sometimes difficult to micromanage the orientation of platoons to keep them facing the enemy, and my recon helicopters have an annoying tendency to land whenever they’re not actively moving, while I may want them to stay airborne to keep enemy units visible; the inability to set stances, and the rather awkward method of turning off individual weapons on individual units to keep control of who fires what, can be annoying, but I can generally get my units to do what I want. The graphics are fantastic, making each unit distinct and identifiable. The music fits the scene nicely, and the single player campaign storyline is nicely plausible.
