No cap, this game is the worst marble game I have ever played in my 23 years of living on this planet. Like, bruh, you can’t even control your balls in the air like come on brehg. I can make better levels on a TI-84.

RoboDo VR is a singleplayer and multiplayer puzzle climbing platforming game, that is more focused on the platforming in the latter half of the game. I was unable to test out multiplayer, but I will say, per the developer, the MP levels are different than the SP levels. I think the game was going for a Portal 2 type of game, but obviously, this isn’t Portal 2, and it doesn’t have to be at that level (or close to it) to still be recommendable.

I was waiting a long time for this type of VR game. First impression was good. However along the gameplay I found bugs that really bothered me. So I’m still torn about how I feel about this game. I’ll keep the game in my library for now to see if developers will be active and fix it because it actually could be a great title on a VR platform.

Airlock Arena

Airlock Arena

Become the ultimate cargo smuggler

Welcome to the thrilling and dangerous occupation of galactic cargo smuggling. In Airlock Arena, you are responsible for procuring, protecting, transporting, and ultimately delivering precious cargo to the far reaches of space. Avoid the Authorities, look for opportunities, and ultimately make a profit while bringing much needed supplies to colonies cut off by the ravages of galactic civil war. The chance to make a fortune is real, but the odds of dying are even higher. This is no game for the weak.

Game Features

  • Highly strategic 2-D action “rogue-like-like” gameplay on spaceships and planets for endless hours of replayability.

  • Simulated vacuum physics! Smugglers quickly learn that air can be their best friend or their worst enemy.

  • Randomly generated destructible/repairable ships. Each playthrough requires different strategies to accommodate different ship layouts.

  • Tons of random event combinations to challenge your skills and decision-making abilities while under pressure.

  • Work together to restart broken ship systems such as engines, blast doors, and artificial gravity generators, when they inevitably fail.

  • Single player and Cooperative contracts both locally and online, so you can play together on the couch, or across the net. Die alone, or die alongside your friends in a universe full of unknown terrors.

  • Unique items, including the blaster, repair gun, grapple beam, and jet pack to help deal with the dangers of space in whatever way you see fit.

  • Financial decision making. Do you use those credits to help make the mission more forgiving, or hold on to them to go for a high score?

  • Unexpected cargo. Space is full of all kinds of trash and treasures. Sometimes the best cargo is what you find along the way! Take a perilous spacewalk and see if you can’t reel some of it in!

  • Biomatter absorbing respawn platforms. Get the lifeless corpse of one of your friends back to a respawn platform, and see them spring back to life, ready to die once more!

  • Increasingly difficult contracts to keep even skilled players on their toes. You’ll be yelling at Airlock Arena for hours to come.

  • Competitive deathmatch and capture the cargo modes to test your mastery of the game mechanics against your friends.

  • A super-secret ending that only the most observant players will find! Don’t tell anyone… it’s a secret!

There is a lot of thing that I would like to say, so I’ll try to keep it brief.

Here are some question from new players who I’ve heard a lot:

Is the Learning Curve steep?

Yes. It not just a learning curve, but a learning cliff, on fire and covered in bears. It would take quite some time to get used to the mechanics of the game.

The tutorials only teach the absolute basics (e.g. its (proprietary) build mode controls and AI programming). For new players, Only finish the first section of it and go experiments with the designer yourself. Expect some ragey moments at this stage as it will bombard you with an insane amount of content (even with over 1000+ hours, I’m still considered quite new by FtD’s community standards). Fortunately, the FtD community have very experienced people who are ready to help you if any problem arises (as long as you don’t say the game as a whole sucks), so I advise you join the Official FtD Discord server as most activities happen there.

Camped Out!

Camped Out!

Camped Out is a frenetic couch co-op game for friends and families where up to four players work together to set up camp before darkness falls.

Work together as a team to complete campsites and unlock further areas in the game world.

Each level is a race against the clock where players are required to build tents, construct a campfire, cook enough food and get into bed before darkness falls.

THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER

It’s a wide, bountiful world out there, teeming with all the natural resources you’ll need to complete your campsite.

There’s wood to be chopped, stone to be mined and fish to be caught - but don’t leave them lying around or they might disappear..

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK

To set up your camp as efficiently as possible, you’ll need to work together.

Throw tools to a teammate in need, ferry resources to a blueprint someone else placed, duck out of the way to let a camper through; every little bit of synergy helps. And most importantly, communicate!

ROME WASN’T BUILT IN A DAY

..but your campsite must be built by nightfall!

Each camper’s backpack holds a tent pack, lantern, and some shared tools. There’s also a cooking pot to stew a succulent meal. You choose where to place your blueprints, so choose carefully!

MEET THE CAMPERS:

  • Quintana - Quintana is the Camp Leader at Roaring Pines Summer Camp. She is the eleven year old daughter of high achieving parents. Her mother, a respected surgeon and father, a psychiatrist. As the first born of two girls, Quintana feels a sense of responsibility to protect her little sister. She’s clever and curious and having achieved leadership status in Mensa for Kids, prefers the company of books to frivolous child’s play.

  • Covington - Covington is ten years old and lost his father when he was only five. Coming from a creative family, Covington’s father left him with music in his veins. Covington continues to teach himself to play guitar by watching online videos of his favorite bands. He loves excursions and field trips with his fellow Campers, as he feels a close bond with them and will often serenade them with melodic renditions of his favorite songs.

  • Saffron - Saffron is ten years old and the middle child of seven children. But with her ginger locks and eyes of blue and spirit to match her dazzling appearance she has no trouble standing out amongst the crowd. Living on the expanse of the farm with her six siblings, she is constantly seeking her next adventure and with a freckle to match each of her escapades, she’s unstoppable.

  • Rascal - Rascal is eleven years old and an only child who’s been misunderstood until he was diagnosed with ADHD. His parents had him join Roaring Pines Summer Camp when he was seven, and as his name suggests he has a tendency to create mischief between his peers. Rascal loves to build and will use any material available to bring his imagination and creations to life. Whether it be sailing through stormy seas on a raft made of driftwood or flying through space with meteorite precision, Rascal leaves those around him in the wake of his creative destruction.
