Having been a part of the testing process from some of the first test runs to today, i can say it has been a fun and inspiring experience seeing the game progress to its current form.

The aesthetic of the game fits well with the theme, the puzzles are just the right level of difficulty and we’ve laughed many times frantically trying to work them out during the test runs. I am eager to see how the future of this game’s story pans out and completes.

Timemelters

Timemelters

**- OUR DEMO HAS ALMOST 2 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY TIME -

  • YOU CAN PLAY THE DEMO SOLO OR CO-OP (ONLINE)! -**

–——————————-

Created by the co-designer of Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves, Timemelters brings you to a mythical land of dreams and nightmares, where witch trials seem the only answer to the preternatural forces threatening the land.

Timemelters is a hardcore action-strategy game that features a unique game mechanic: Time Travel, which allows the players to go back in time and fight alongside themselves. You play as Teagan, a witch whose powers were just recently unleashed by an unwelcome guest. Now, you must venture forth in a desperate effort to cleanse the countryside from the seeping evil that is corrupting it.

Something is rotten in the Kingdom of Hogendale.

Creation is stricken. Trees and beasts sicken, wither and are reborn as shrieking, malevolent shades. The dead claw their way out of the poisoned earth to swarm mindlessly over the land. No living man or woman is safe from their dripping talons. Whole towns are brought to ruin. King Ionracas’ dream of a lasting Pax Hogendala vanishes in an unnatural whirl of blood and misery.

It must be the Witches! Who else could be responsible for this chaos? The King decrees their death by fire. And thus — many an innocent woman is condemned to the sacred pyre.

Now, the flames await you.

Features:

Unique Time Shift game mechanic: rewind time and fight alongside yourself, not as an AI, but in a fully deterministic fashion. Plan out truly custom strategies and play to your own style!

Hybrid Action-Strategy gameplay: Plan a strategy and execute it all in real time, across more than 20 distinct missions!

Co-op mode: Play the full campaign with a friend online!

Startling storyline: Engaging campaign with all the twists, turns, nooks, crannies and what-the-bleep-just-happened moments you would – and should – expect from a story based on Time Travel!

Inspired by Scottish Folklore: Fight with and against numerous creatures inspired by the rich and variegated Scottish heritage. Och hey, lads and lassies!

Skill Tree: Choose how your spells upgrade – yielding ever more powerful magic and intricate build choices!

Original Soundtrack: Sumptuous, expansive soundtrack filled with epic moments (and a few earworms)!

Deadhold

Deadhold

tl;dr if you like Myth, you’ll love this game (even in its Early Access incarnation)

It’s been a long time… since I was so excited for a game! Yes, it is quite a bit like the Myth I and Myth II games (and that’s a good thing) but Deadhold is its own animal. Deadhold adds some finely tuned 3-D goodness, ’splodey physics, a healthy portion of 21st C thinking/game play along with some new ideas about how spells and items could enhance different gaming styles. The single solo map is short but showcases some of the game’s potential. For me the real fun lies in modes like coop Horde or multiplayer FFA or team play. MP is fast and frenetic, the strategies enlivened by skillful use of spells and a very limited amount of healing (1 dose). Get on with a couple buddies - or grab a few players from the MP lobbies - and enjoy blasting the undead or each other to bits, lots and lots of gory gibs and bits.

One of the biggest fans of Myth. I spent years of my life playing it. I’ve played thousands of single-player games and this is the only multiplayer game I enjoy. There is no better multiplayer game. It’s also pretty much impossible to ever make this for consoles so don’t wait for a port. I play 99% of my games on a console but this one can only work on PC due to the many buttons and fast clicks needed to move the camera and select and move units.

Deadhold revives Myth and any fan should enjoy it. It adds a few new things and some changes, like health potions instead of Journeymen. New stuff is dropped items and spells you can use, including a Resurrect option for dead units. But most of it is the same Myth you knew and loved. If you never played Myth I have no idea how to recommend or explain this game to you. It’s like an RTS but with no buildings or unit-making or resources. You choose your units at the beginning of the match and then micromanage till the end. That’s what makes the multiplayer so fun is that you can work as a team with different units, or micromanage against others. Combine that with the physics/gibs and you can never not have a good time. Right now, on day one of Early Access, this is already a solid “good”. It has the potential to be the greatest game ever made. We’ll see. gla

Heard about this game a while back and have had it on my wishlist. Was super excited to try it today and I’m happy to say that I couldn’t stop playing! It was quite a lot of content too! Really good puzzles, a nice compelling story with funny dialogue and lots of little hidden things. Great work! :)

Negatives:

1. Had to rebind my controls twice when I first started (bound them, scene changed and they’d reverted to default), but once I’d quit and started the game back the controls stayed. Probably just an issue with when the gave saves your controls?

2. Walljumps frustrated me. (You have to hold toward the wall until you jump, and then immediately hold away; I believe most games cancel or delay your “toward” press as soon as you walljump which makes it easier to perform? Not sure, but something about the walljumps gave me trouble.)

Bought this game tonight and immediately played though it. My friend and I are huge fans of the “We were here” games and have struggled to find similar ones after playing though the first two. We tried “Tic Tok” and a few coop platformer but nothing could really match up to “We were here”. Until now at least.

“Mark & Lara” is an amazing coop game. You don’t need the internet, just the game and you are set for about 2,5 hours of fun. That’s about how much time it took us to play though it once and we will again soon in order to experience the story out of both character’s perspectives. So for 4 bucks you have ~5 hours of playtime, which is solid imo. The story itself is amazing and really pulled us in. It really feels like investigating and we really enjoyed it. The game consists of talking to one of the two suspects, “official” documents and documentations of conversations. You have to really concentrate and look for the details and compare what the two suspects say in order to find the solution. Teamwork is necessary. The story was surprising in quite a few points and it was refreshing to not have a standart “why I killed him” plot but something more complex. We developed a good amount of theories of what could have happened and none of them turned out to be the correct one in the end.

Young Souls

Young Souls

As orphans, Jenn and Tristan’s life path brought them to a mysterious scientist, who took them in and cared for them as his own children. But one day, he disappeared under very odd circumstances.

While searching desperately for him, the duo found a hidden cellar and the Moon Gate portal, transporting them to a dangerous parallel world where goblins thrive.

Your adventure begins as you fight to bridge these two very different worlds.

● Play a dynamic & deep side-scrolling RPG beat‘em up as Jenn and Tristan, solo or in co-op, as you explore the four unique biomes of the goblins' twisted world and the stylish world of the humans.

● Customise your combat gear by unlocking & upgrading hundreds of weapons, armour sets and accessories, to save the world as you know it.

● Unlock unexpected story paths as you fight your way through dozens of epic dungeons, hordes of enemies and over 20 fearsome bosses in the goblin realm.

● Young Souls combines the classic beat‘em up and story-rich role-playing genres through a beautifully crafted story, and in a world crafted with stunning art direction.

Fighting goblins is not as easy as fighting the weight machine at Happy Fit. Combat is punishing and demanding, but you’ll be rewarded with loot chests, which will help you forget the injuries you suffer on the battlefield.

There are tons of possible combinations that vary the stats of your equipment, weapons and the gameplay of your character. Adopting an attacking, defensive or balanced strategy is easy for anyone who dares venture to the land of goblins.

Brawling with enemies obviously means epic boss fights that will make you sweat.

Young Souls is a journey between two worlds, each one full of experiences and encounters that will shape the character and fate of our heroes.

After a well-deserved nap, you can hit the gym at Happy Fit and improve your statistics to gain more strength, resistance and stamina.

If you’re not too stiff, make sure to pay a visit to Solid Sneakers to get yourself the best kicks in town that will give you style and boost your characters' stats on the battleground. Teen Spirit shop is also open to those who need a makeover or just purchase a cool hat that fits with your brand-new sneakers.

When you are done with having fun, it’s time to kit yourself out from head to toe and enter the world of goblins – the place you want to be to bash some skulls and find the professor. Mobs of enemies will be waiting for you with spears and swords in the vain hope it will be enough to stop you…

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure

this one !! is total crap. So many issues with this game. one example: ' The Bane ' mission can not be completed because the final map in on top of tree, and you cant jump up there…. whatever you try, pointless. Next one: crumpets; 1 crumpet is on top of roof which you cant get to. Very disturbing release.

DONT BUY !!!!!! no even get it for free, complete waist of time. You better play Wolfenstein 3D, which is over 20 years old

…… HOWEVER ! —

The publisher has made the effort to ' single ' game this one port and it has some new things, like red chests. But it should have been polished with enhanced graphics at least. And keep in mind that this release STILL uses DirectX 9. Lets hope that this release will not tarnish the future release for March 2022. If you still want to play it, go ahead…….. BUT your best option is to get it for free !!

I’m really liking this, but I know that it won’t be for everyone. I played for about 2 hours to get a feel for it, and it’s essentially the same as the add-on. The target buyer for this is definitely someone who has never played it before, but wants to check out Tiny Tina’s lore before playing Wonderlands. If you’ve played the add-on, and it’s not something that you care to play again, this isn’t adding anything so substantial that it’d pull you back in. At this point, I’m like a Borderlands superfan, and $10 for a remixed version of Dragon Keep that offers a unique experience in game progression and level scaling, is a fine price for me. If a slightly different experience of starting at Level 1 is not a big draw for you, you could probably pass this up.

Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3

Recommended only if you are willing to accept that it is not complete and is still yet a while away from being done. Very similar to Larian’s previous two games but with just enough tweaks to make it feel fresh and closer to DnD ruleset. Some say it may as well have been called DOS3. While true, it’s also not a bad thing. Those games IMO are responsible for the resurgence of the old-school CRPG genre. Personally, this is my dream game. Huge fan of the originals and huge fans of the DOS games. Actually had the out-loud thought back in 2014…“what if Baldur’s Gate made a comeback and these Larian dudes were the ones to do it?” Wish granted. People will nitpick and complain, but I’m beyond impressed with what I’ve seen so far. The RTWP argument has been done to death and if you want to cry about it, go play Pillars of Eternity. It’s so close a copy to the old Infinity engine games that it honestly got stale and lost its nostalgia shine real fast. I would have been disappointed if a new game bearing the BG name turned out to be the same stuff I played to death 20 something years ago. The scope of what Larian is going for here is extremely ambitious and I’m 110% rooting for them to pull it off. With all of the possible dialogue options and minor little attentions to detail, its like a real tabletop in that everyone who plays will be working through the same “module” but everyone is going to experience that story differently depending on the player or groups decisions. Obviously, proper tabletop DnD cant be played solo, but just like the original Baldurs Gate games, this is/will be the best possible way for a solo player without and IRL group to play with to experience its universe.

This is a pretty amazing game the best DnD based game I have ever played it is very good. There is still a lot of development needed would not recommend this game if you do not have a high performance PC with an SSD they definitely still need to do some work on the performance. When the game leaves early access it will be well worth it I can assure you. For right now once you get bored of the waiting for new content check out what the modding community has done there has been some really great player content.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

At the time of writing this I am at 353 hours played. My first play through of this game was clocked in around ~130 hours. This is with out doubt, one of the best video games I have ever played and for at least one of the characters had me experience one of my most cathartic moments in gaming.

Story: Takes place ~1,000 years after the first Divinity Original Sin game. I didn’t play the first and you don’t really need to to enjoy this game. You’ll pick up on some story things here and there if you read about it. You’re a Source (powerful magic) user and using source draws in the void (bad things) so you are sent to an island to ultimately die off. Story follows you through different areas in the game with different factions fighting that you can side with. Picking your character from a prebuilt gets you added story (one of the 6 listed below).
