GraveRun

GraveRun

Early access from 2016 so have to assume this is probably all we get. A bit of a shame really as it has a lot going for it. it’s a really fun little twin stick zombie shooter with a bunch of neat mechanics, upgrades and cute pixel graphics. Seems primarily designed for multiplayer/co-op but it’s great fun solo too. Unfortunately probably owing to early access the campaign is pretty short, still pretty fun though.

Some games that don’t get finished you shrug and move on, some are missed that little bit more, this is one of those that had some real promise to it so it’s a shame we didn’t get to see a bit more it even now.

Fun game to kill time, easy to play and get addicted to. Pixelated graphics, smooth gameplay, many different combinations of weapons allows you to regulate the difficulty of playing the game, some are stronger and synergize better with certain weapons. Although coop is recommended, buying the game at full price is not so.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

At the time of writing this I am at 353 hours played. My first play through of this game was clocked in around ~130 hours. This is with out doubt, one of the best video games I have ever played and for at least one of the characters had me experience one of my most cathartic moments in gaming.

Story: Takes place ~1,000 years after the first Divinity Original Sin game. I didn’t play the first and you don’t really need to to enjoy this game. You’ll pick up on some story things here and there if you read about it. You’re a Source (powerful magic) user and using source draws in the void (bad things) so you are sent to an island to ultimately die off. Story follows you through different areas in the game with different factions fighting that you can side with. Picking your character from a prebuilt gets you added story (one of the 6 listed below).

Solitude

Solitude

Solitude is a cooperative multiplayer action survival game. Played from a first person perspective on your own with bots or with friends, you play as part of the crew of the Solitude and find yourself stranded on the other side of the galaxy as a result of the failure of the first full-scale faster than light warp test. Only by repairing Solitude and improving the FTL drive, and other systems, is there any hope of the safe return to Earth. The crew must defend themselves from previously unknown alien races and navigate difficult spatial anomalies but, in the end, will that be enough to get home?

  • Cooperative multiplayer action survival game set at the other end of the galaxy

  • Experience crewing a ship from a first person perspective

  • Command a lost experimental ship back to Earth or die trying

  • Discover rich story arcs that lead you on a journey across the stars

  • Upgrade your ship to handle hostile alien encounters and dangerous spatial anomalies

  • Every playthrough is procedurally generated and different

  • Expand the game with mod support

Saints Row 2

Saints Row 2

This is still a great game even when put up current gen stuff. I love it because the voice acting is excellent and it captures the feel of classic GTA3 oh so well. Even though this port has a problem with periodic “random” crashes, it’s still worth playing. Also, you really, really should bother to install the Gentlemen of the Row mod; it is worth the trouble for the quality of life adjustments alone.

I wanted to play this because I loved Saints Row 3 & 4 and Gat out of Hell. I knew it would be different, and more like GTA than the others but I wanted to try it anyway. I’m glad I did. It’s now my second favorite in the series after #4. I am looking forward to playing it again when the “MEGA Patch” is eventually released.

Saints Row 2, man where do i start.. Its a really good game but id recommend something since this thing doesn’t have achievements: cheats, use them all the time and i recommend installing Gentlemen of the row to put modification of the game called ,,Ultor Rising'' where, you are the law and try to stop all the gangs, if your looking for something extra in the ultor rising mod, the nuclear power plant is the place of fun.

But yes Honest review of the base game without mods is a 9/10 for me.

Only issue was frame drops nothing else so yeah very good game.
