Lumberhill
Super fun family games with kids and local coop, best at 3 and 4 local players. Fun to play, easy to play, commands are fine (who ever complains about commands “not being easy” or “hard to figure out” must be playing with their keyboard and never played local coop games as they all tends to be similar. We like this a bit less then Unspottable (our favourite local coop game), but we like Lumberhill more then Boomerang Fu and tons more then Cake Bash. It’s easy to pick up and many game modes and many levels.

A fun campaign/co-op. Multiplayer is very difficult for the human worker. My brother and I can hardly complete any quests with the animal player actively working against you.

Cymatically Muffed
The good:
Lots of fast fun frenetic action, plenty of game modes.
Audio track is decent.
Good menus, extensive controls and customization.
Responsive, capable developer.
The bad:
Hard to see some items, visual style is lacking and can make things unclear sometimes.

I’ve played the local multiplayer several times with friends and have had a great time playing. The variety of game types and settings provide a lot of options for replayability. I can’t wait to play the campaign once it is released, especially since it can be played coop. Cymatically Muffed is reminiscent of older classics while still providing new and exciting mechanics of it’s own. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Flight of the Athena
Lots of variety with bosses and enemies. Includes interesting time-based events mid-mission and enemies that come from all four directions, which gets pretty exciting pretty quickly. Well done, A To Play Ltd’s Flight of the Athena is pretty damn fun and very replayable!
While the portrait art may be lacking the rest of the in-game art are quite nice. Some odd design decisions on the tactical map but the actual battles and bosses are loads of fun. And multiplayer!

This game is excellent! It is a flashback to games like this that I played when I was younger but with great additions! You have two guns (one on a turret) which you control using the 2nd stock on the controller; this is great! Also there is an RPG and randomness factor which add to replayability. Got to buy it!

Trigonarium
This is EXCELLENT. I bought it on sale, and would happily pay full price.
I loved Geometry Wars, Waves and countless other 2-stick shooters (also old enough to have loved Asteroids…), but this feels fresh. It’s perfectly polished, and the addition of constant mid-game changes to the arena shape gives you something new to run away from, learn, and sometimes use to your advantage.
No unfair deaths, no easy/lazy ways to grind through levels, no smart bombs, and in challenge mode just one life.

Trigonarium is a very solid twin-stick shooter that has never received the recognition and love it well deserves. If you find the Geometry Wars games to be too fast for you, but you enjoy the mechanics of Super Stardust HD, then this is the game you want to have a go at. Unlike many other titles in the same price bracket, this one appears to have been tested thoroughly: I don’t recall experiencing any bugs whatsoever.
This title is critically underrated and at only three euros it’s an absolute steal. I urge everyone to give it a whirl!

Bloody Trapland
Briefly: Bloody Trapland is a precision platformer of distinct levels. Alright game, yet some game design choices are rage-inducing in a mixed way.
I bought this to a group of friends a couple of years ago to play together. We played it a couple of times (a few hours) and had fun trying to beat “the story missions”. I forgot about it for a long time before coming back on a couple of occasions to beat the rest of the levels by myself. I consider it one of the hardest platformers I’ve played.

Bloody Trapland is a platformer, where you need to reach the end of the levels, avoiding dying in brutal ways.
The game graphically is well made, it contains gore which is looks decent. Also, the different enviroments looks good in the game too. I didn’t saw any visual bug throughout my playtime.
Controlls are really easy. You need 5 buttons to play the game and you can play with controller too, but I recommend playing with a keyboard. Works like a charm!
Music and sounds are okay at first, however for me, later become bit repetitive, because of the few different sound effect and just a few music per world. However, it’s still okay.

Streets of Fury EX
This is the most fun I’ve ever had with a beat ‘em up.
Streets of Fury EX certainly doesn’t have the ambiance of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, or the soundtrack of Streets of Rage, or the visuals of Capcom’s Alien vs Predator.
But what the game lacks in artistic and technical prowess, it makes up for with its zany humour, large cast of playable characters, and awesome gameplay depth.
Each character feels very unique, and though a few can feel underpowered, they’re still interesting in their own right. The combo system is super flexible - way more than I ever expected! Chain combos, special moves, dash and jump cancels, juggles, OTGs, and the coming update even adds parries to the mix. Hell we’re still finding new ways to do amazing, super damaging combos!

I sunk a huge amount of time into the original Xbox 360 version of the game, and Streets of Fury is one of my favourite indie games from last gen. I was pretty amped to discover that they were planning on doing a PC version of this, so I’ve been patiently waiting…
Streets of Fury is a throwback to late 80’s - early 90’s arcade style beat-em ups done in the style of games like old-skool Mortal Kombat using digitized sprites. Streets of Fury sports a very competent and deep combo system that is simple and pick-up-and-playable for beginners, while more experienced players can string together ridiculously long combos that look like something out of a high level MvC2 or Skullgirls match…

Witchtastic
I found this game the other day and it looked so like overcooked that I had to try it. I’ve played with a friend a couple of worlds and it’s really fun!
You can do the levels on solo mode but it’s better to have someone playing with you so you can get gems!
I love the design and think it has lot of potencial as an early access, I can’t wait to see what other content the developers will add!
EDIT: After completing the 3 worlds I must say…that it’s so much fun! The mechanics they added in the ghost and swamp levels are great and definetly leaves you craving for more content! I’ve completed all levels and now it’s time to get all those sweet gems! You should really give it a try!

So ya, likely just like you, I got here because I loved Overcooked. And there are definitely similarities - enough that if you like Overcooked, this is likely a good game for you too. But, this takes Overcooked up a level and adds enemies, and extra challenges that make it more than just another Overcooked wannabe. Many of the levels are challenging. Not so challenging that you can’t finish them but if you are a max score finisher type of person - it will take several tries to get there. We finished the game in about 12 hours - but not at maximum scores. We’re now in the process of going back and replaying the levels to get 3 gems…. and it’s still challenging. If you’re looking for a challenging Overcooked type game with a twist - look no further!

Koloro
Ever thought of driving a car at high speed with no brakes at all while trying to solve a map puzzle with road blocks? Well, this game is precisely that… and sometimes “blindfolded”…
For game control, this is a platforming game with a “sliding” movement and we can’t change direction unless we hit a wall, the only single button we could use to control the whole gameplay is spacebar/mouse button for jumping. The rest of the movements are out of our control…
And, the game require precise timing, only giving a few seconds of rooms between each action point… there’s no HP bar in this game, it’s instant death on a single mistake. And death means you have to restart the whole stage again.

Music and sound design
I’m not sure how I feel about the electronic parts of the soundtrack but they’re not common and don’t feel too out of place. Otherwise it fits the game’s atmosphere perfectly. The sounds are good.
Visuals
I like the art style and the way the game looks in general but I’m not a fan of the character animations in cutscenes. It feels kind of clunky.
Controls
You only have one button so it’s as simple as it gets.
Story
Starts off very abruptly and then you get almost no story until you reach the final boss. And even then there isn’t much that’s happening. This is definitely not a selling point of the game.
