Zombidle : REMONSTERED

Zombidle : REMONSTERED

“But it’s just an idle game.”

I’ve been playing Zombidle for over a year now (since its first builds in July 2015) and throughout the year, I’ve become more and more involved with the community. Even still, I am a heavy player of Zombidle, just in the beta test alone I’ve racked up ~280 hours, though as is the nature of the game, it’s open most of the time doing it’s own thing.

The game itself is awesome, it’s kept me engaged all this time (not an easy feat, I get distracted easily!) As you progress, you are always unlocking more things to do, whether it be the first time you discover that the game world you’ve seen thus far is but a fraction of what there is, when your main source of power now falls to the wayside as you discover and unlock greater sources.

I know what you are thinking: “Oh god, ANOTHER idle clicker game? Pass!”

No… stop right there, come back, and try it.

How can I best put it? Early on may feel very slow, and the game seems like your standard clicker game, it changes once you progress to a certain point. When you can start crafting, which is… at some point down the line. You’ll have to play to see it for yourself!

Aside from that, the auto-click spell? It’s not 10 clicks/taps a second, it’s way more than that! And while there are no things like Clicker Heroes' Hero Souls, you have Hell itself willing to build you buildings that provide DPS, Skulls (your in-game currency), DPS to Click/Tap damage, and better Devil Deals.

Zombie Quarantine

I like it!

It needs a bit of trimming. Well, more than “a bit”. But I have faith in the developer to get there.

Ehhh, if you want a polished game with no bugs or weird game mechanics, then say NO this, at least right now on launch day, June 23, 2017.

If you enjoy a good puzzle game, and realize that half the battle of this game will be working with very rough game design, then this game might be worth the price tag.

It’s rough people, and the developer states himself that this is his first game. It shows, but I believe if he keeps updating this game and listening to feedback from customers, it can be a really cool little game. I love the idea and concept of it.

Blood Moon: The Last Stand

Blood Moon: The Last Stand

Crim’s Humble Opinion Curator

This is a simple but difficult hybrid clicker / wave fighter game. What you see on the store page is essentially what you get. You can move left and right and you click to attack your opponents. If they are within melee range you will attack them with a slash, otherwise you will shoot them. You don’t have to worry about reloading, but you do have to decide who to attack first and which direction to be facing; because you can only attack in the direction you are facing. You have three hits and have a special bar that goes up as you defeat enemies. With that special bar you can choose to heal one health or do massive damage on one enemy. Enemies will come at you from multiple directions and sometimes you have to throw up a shield to avoid damage from a projectile.

Zombie Van Drive is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a “fake game”. The “developer”, INFINITE BRIDGE, took the Zombie Drive - Full Game Template Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Puppeteer, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They’re attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else’s work.

Crusaders of the Lost Idols

Crusaders of the Lost Idols

Crusaders of the Lost Idols is my favorite idle/incremental game. It has such a depth of concept and ever growing content. It just not get boring. I probably played it everyday since I discovered it on Steam.

Crusaders of the Lost Idols is a clever game that is far too hard core and far too grindy to really be enjoyable.

The premise is simple, use a group of characters, in a certain ‘formation’ to complete a goal, say level 350. Each ‘crusader’ has slot with equipment as well as powers. By placing certain ones next to other ones you might gain more damage or more gold. Each level has a goal, when it’s met you move on to the next one. Then you ‘reset’ the game which gives you idols. The idols in turn, permanently give you more dps and gold.

Bring Dad Home

Bring Dad Home

Why is it called “Bring Dad Home”?

Because the game was inspired by my real experience.

It was at the beginning of 2019, a dark night on a high month, and my dad just participated in socializing and drank too much. After getting out of the car, what only I can do is helping him walking home.

I’m not strong, but dad had a huge body.

It was okay at first, but gradually became physically weak and unable to help him later. My dad fell and got injured. He was taken to the hospital immediately by me.

A few days later, our team participated in the 2019 Global 48-Hour Extreme Development Competition, and we got a question about family relationships-“What does home mean to you?”

So, we hit it off right away, and “Bring Dad Home” was born.

After 48 hours, we won the “Most Popular Game Award” in Guangzhou.

At the end of 2019, “Bring Dad Home” was selected for the Indie Prize finals.

We hope that this game will not only bring joy to everyone, but also remind you of some interesting memories with your loved ones.

Defence to death

Defence to death

Definitely only worth picking up when it is a 1.00 or less…and ONLY if you are wanting the achievements and cards.

Although I think the ability to click (fast) on enemies to kill them, and click (fast) on the mine to get more currency to spend to build towers, are really great ideas, there are only 3 actual levels that are reused over and over, only 4 towers to build, and only 2 towers you will actually use. You earn money at the end of each level, that you can spend on 3 upgrades per tower.

It’s a pretty easy, but very boring grind.

Real player with 10.3 hrs in game

Defence to Death is another lazy asset flip from Laush Studio. They’ve taken a basic Unity template for a TD game, changed around a few things, didn’t bother with polishing it or testing it much, and dumped it on Steam for a comical $6.

I’d go on about how asset flips are bad but this is just garbage. Everything is clunky, no support for higher resolution monitors, balancing the game was something developers had heard about and will probably think about doing one day maybe on their next game. It’s just trash.

Insanity Clicker

Insanity Clicker

This game is great, it has its flaws (PVP) but its still a fun game. Then they went and nerfed Azathot and sins earned per amnesia. It already take alot of time progress after spider wall, now youll see the second coming of Christ before youll see final level. (Still yet to be fixed)

Update: Dont get this game and what ever you do, dont spend money on it. Under illnesse (stat boosts) you spend sins to gain illness levels. I posted in the forum after I noticed that even though my illnesses were twice thet of another player I really didnt gain any benifit. I then posted it in discussion as potential bug. My post was ignored day after day. Then I noticed a lot of english posts were ignored. So I asked if they could get and english Mod to help bridge the communication barrier and it was promtply deleted. When I asked why I was banned from discussion for a week for “spam” it took them almost a month and a half to say 5 words. “All illnesses have a cap” I was shocked cause in the game it says No maximum level. I worked them up till they were 10k+ just to figure out that they cap at 5k. I asked if i could get the extra sin returned cause they took so long to respond and got no response. I feel cheated, i spent money to buy Illnesses that are useless. Now I have asked about a timeframe when they were going to fix the game so others could reach the end and was told:

Somewhat ‘completed’ this clicker game. Majority of the clicker/idle games have no maximum/last stage so that you can continue to progress indefinitely. Insanity Clicker does have a final stage where you cannot advance anymore due to 1 reason: the boss has infinity hp. The final stage is Level 4725 where this occurs. Even the strongest hero you hired has a maximum level of 4944. The next cost of leveling this hero? Infinity. You also stop gaining teeth(gold/coins in game) somewhere in the range 1.7976e308 +/-. Any teeth gain will be shown +NaN or +Infinity.
