Tap Adventure: Time Travel

Tap Adventure: Time Travel

Pretty fun! If you’re addicted to clickers (which I am) and time wasters (which I am) this is another good addition. Repetitive backgrounds (of course) but a lot more diverse than others, and the fantasy & guild heroes theme is actually utulized unlike most clicker games! Very Free, just expect to leave it running a LONG LONG Time. If that’s not your thing? This is not your game. If you’re looking for a total time soak with easy to play in the background of work? PERFECT!

Edit 7/13: Updating to add a ton of TL;DR basic tips

The first thing you may notice about Tap Adventure: Time Travel is the graphics. Whether it’s the character design or the different environments that you end up going to, everything is all very well drawn. It’s genuinely pleasing to look at, especially for a clicker game. Unfortunately, I think this is the only strong point about this game.

Things start out as any other clicker game; you’ll be able to hire a few mercenaries and get through a few hundred levels before you’ll have to time loop. You will have to repeat this process hundreds of times of course, getting a little further each time. You’ll earn more gold, runestones, keys, and manacoins, unlock more artifacts and heroes, and so on and so forth. It’s a typical clicker game.

Idle Wizard

Idle Wizard

_So far, therefore, as the public profession of magic has been one of the roads by which the ablest men have passed to supreme power, it has contributed to emancipate mankind from the thraldom of tradition and to elevate them into a larger, freer life, with a broader outlook on the world.

This is no small service rendered to humanity.

And when we remember further that in another direction magic has paved the way for science, we are forced to admit that if the black art has done much evil, it has also been the source of much good; that if it is the child of error, it has yet been the mother of freedom and truth._

The game is pretty good as far as Idle games go. There is a good amount of love in the details, atmosphere and artwork.

Its major downside is it’s documentation. Frequently tooltipps of spells will give incomplete or misleading information and one has to keep the wiki page open at all time, if one wants to proceed past certain threshholds.

Unfortunately the discord server is in private hands. While it appears the discord is officially supported, it’s nigh impossible to get feedback through the owner and admins of the server, who have no understanding of common problems that basic users may encounter.

Magic Adventures is a endless survival clicker game when you fight endless horde of enemy, and get stronger at each run.

Graphics (5.5 / 10) : This part is ok, the graphics are nice, but there only one place (the plain)

Gameplay (4.5 / 10) : Quite simple, but easy, just click to damage the foes, but no special attack or skills …

There different types of enemy, each have it own pattern.

You win gold for upgrade yourself and get stronger (HP, Damage, HP Regen)

The big problem with the game is that you start at lvl 1 at each new run, there no warp system for starting further when you start you become really stronger.

Match Three Pirates! Heir to Davy Jones

Match Three Pirates! Heir to Davy Jones

Its a pretty straight forward Match Three game, Honestly nothing special UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVE PIRATES! The story line is a little lackluster and could be improved upon (more story points in general as the story parts seem to far apart) but it keeps with the Pirate theme and helps to keep you immersed in the game. The visuals are pleasant, and nothing to scary for younger children nor to childish for adults to enjoy.

As you progress though the game you earn “Skull Coins”, used for buying temporary in level boosts, and “Gold”, used for buying ship upgrades which are permanent/always on boosts. ** TIP: Replay some of the completed levels that earned you lots of gold to buy the ship upgrades faster. **

match three pirates is the developer’s second attempt at a match-3 game, the first being gems of magic: lost family , a masterclass on what not do do in a match-3. based on that I didn’t expect anything good here, and while at first I thought I was wrong, the proverbial cat eventually crawled out of the bag.

Olden: Card Game

Olden: Card Game

Olden: Card Game is designed in such a way that every battle will give a different and unique experience. A mix of overpowered and weak cards in your hand and deck will constantly test you and your opponent ability to adapt and make the best out of the current situation. In order to give players a form of individuality and theory crafting outside the match, the game offers unique talent systems per every avatar that will help the player with various perks.

In this battle of entities there is no deck building and no card collecting, so all you need to do in order to enter the match is to choose your avatar and hit the play button.

For now, there is: Entity of Light, Death, Chaos and Life.

Your entity will give your troops a unique bonus during the whole length of the game.

Basic rules

To win the game, the player needs to harvest 300 value points. Your entity receives value points whenever you sacrifice your own cards.

Once your turn begins, you receive 2 tokens: an action token and a draw token. Your options are to:

  • Play a card and build your board presence

or

  • Engage in combat by attacking one of your opponents’ cards

or

  • sacrifice your own card, so you can harvest its current value.

Doing any one of these three things will consume your action token.

To consume your draw token, simply click on the main deck to draw a card, and that’s it.

For now, there are 3 card abilities, effect, passive and combat.

Effect is something that will happen only once, at the moment a card is played by the player. A card’s effect does not trigger in cases where you summon or resurrect it with other cards. Effects take place only if they are played directly from your hand.

A card’s passive ability will be present so long as the chosen card is on the board. Once the card with the passive ability is removed from the board, its passive ability will go away along with it.

Combat ability is something that will only trigger once that card engages in combat with an enemy card.

As mentioned, you can use your turn to perform an attack action and engage in combat. To perform an attack, simply place your card on the top of the opponent card. After one turn, your card value number will sink its value into the opposing card. If your card has enough value to destroy your opponent’s card, it will do so, and then it will return to your side of the board.

If your card does not have enough value to destroy an opponent’s card, it will do its damage after one turn, and then be destroyed.

You can engage in combat with cards that are already on the board, or with the cards from your hand.

One card can be attacked by multiple cards at the same time.

To win the game, a player needs to harvest 300 value points. Players can harvest value points by sacrificing their own cards that are not currently in combat. To perform a card sacrifice, select your card, and then click on its respective altar. Performing a card sacrifice will consume your action token.

Magic Potion Explorer

Magic Potion Explorer

As someone who has become extremely jaded and cynical and pessimistic in their years on this earth, this game was a spot of sunshine in an otherwise dreary existence.

There’s not a lot of active playing to be had, it’s mostly just clicking the odd thing here and there and watching your numbers go up. Mostly it’s about strategizing which upgrades to pick at what time, to maximize efficiency. It’s not really a clicker, it’s more of an idle game like some others have pointed out.

Even if you suck sh*t at the game like I do you can beat it simply through patience, since upgrades carry over between runs, unless you are playing on hard, which will only reward you with a set amount of upgrade points everytime you die up to a maximum, after which you won’t get anymore.

A really simple game to spend some time with

The goal of the game is simple, Reach B99

During your desent downwards you’ll fight monsters and collect items for RP, which are used to make potions/buffs for your person, the collecting and battles are all auto so you only need to manage the potion aspect of things.

Should you fail and die, you are sent back to B1 and have to wander back downwards again, however there are difficulty settings for this, on Normal should you fall you will keep all your upgrades so you can nuke your way back down to where you were, on Hard however should you fall, you lose all your upgrades but are given a small amount of RP in exchange, continue to fall and the RP rises more.
