Progress Bar Simulator

Progress Bar Simulator

5 Minutes “gameplay” but 1000 hours of grinding. There is really no reason to buy this game, since you’re ending up with using autoclickers or some idiotic shit like that anyway at some point.

I get it, this game is a joke. But there is nothing clever about it. No stunning secret or anything that would surprise you. It’s literally just hammering the keyboard to watch loading screens. In fact, it’s a mess. Except for the idea of having loading screens there is not even ONE good idea that went into this game. It’s trash and a waste of time, nothing else.

This is a bit of an oddball of a game. The game itself is pressing a button to increment through various historical loading bar screens. If you were born before 1990 you’ll recognize most of them. But to me, past the novelty of running through the progress bars a few times, most of the “game” is meta in order to get the achievements. I ended up using AHK to complete several. Some were through figuring out the console commands or other in-game tricks.

Ultimately I was torn how to rate this game, and gave a thumbs up, but barely. If you were born after 1990, you won’t get half the progress bars most likely, and the game won’t mean as much to you.

This is a nice little game.

It is kind of short, but I had a lot of fun playing it.

Especially the survival levels.

Extreme Peg Solitaire

Extreme Peg Solitaire

Very fun and unique twist to an old and classic game. A lot of content for the price charged, with varied levels and mechanics. And the art is minimalistic but still cute. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys puzzles.

Pill Puzzle one move is more difficult than the first game, when I bought it I thought I wouldn’t be able to pass the first 10 stages, but I managed it calmly… After stage 21 it became more difficult, the game has the same design as the first Pill Puzzle, simple and minimalist, and I also liked the new music. In summary it is a challenging game.

It’s nice to look at…while you click the space bar (or have a script running to auto click the space bar), but zero depth. You seriously just click the space bar. I foolishly expected more with the fun graphics…that you soon realize never change.

There’s no fun to be had, or reason to ever come back to the game after the last achievement pops, and it very unfulfilling…but I got the achievements. I guess, if I want more, I can just play an actual “game.”

I absolutely love how fun this game is. From the sounds to the colors and the sheer competition of acquiring all 50 achievements. It is definitely worth the download!

Higgs Boson: Minimal Puzzle

In this game there is something very profound, which is the effort to close a cycle and create a meeting!

A short game with intriguing mechanics I had a good experience that was worth it

Short, minimalistic and relaxing game. From level 28 onwards, the game got really interesting and challenging. Too bad, that there are only 30 levels. Would have been nice if there were more levels with increasing difficulty. A challenge mode with a limited amount of turns would be nice as well.

The Judgement of Q

The Judgement of Q

After i tried it, i’m not considering it as a puzzle game only, but also a brainstorming game, where you think through this short trip about the meaning of life and about the truth of it (that’s how i would describe it). Great game from an ambitious developer and i hope there will be more games like this.

The judgement of Q is one of those simple games to play when you want to chill, the puzzles are thought provoking, but not frustrating. The soundtrack is soothing and harmonic with the progression of the game. The environment design is the most beautiful aspect of the game, giving the player a sense of discovery and curiosity, that goes along with the narration, which can get somewhat confusing at times, but the game is mostly visual anyway.

There are occasional FPS drops between loading screens, but nothing that will completely upset your experience. It’s an overall calm and relaxing experience with meaningful implications.
