Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards
Rating: 8.3/10 This is a classic point and click (well type and arrows, lol) adventure game. It’s refreshing to be able to lay back, stroke a few keys and look for love in one of the few games directed solely towards an adult audience. Al Lowe, the creator of the Leisure Suit Larry series is a juggernaut in the gaming industry. He had wet dreams of creating classic games and worked very, very hard to do just that by creating many of the classic games we still enjoy to this day. He helped shape Sierra Games into one of the biggest gaming companies at the time. Sierra was known for many types of games of course. However it can be argued that without their point and click adventure games they most likely would not have grown to be such a dominating gaming company. Leisure Suit Larry 1: In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards is a prime example of why Sierra and Al Lowe became so successful. The game play is addictive. The humorous writing is literal laugh out loud content. And the game is great for a first time player or someone looking for that nostalgic hit. There is a reason this game went on to spawn a continually growing series; still making new titles to this day. If you have a passion for point and click adventure games then Leisure Suit Larry 1: In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards is one not to be missed. If you have played any of the other Leisure Suit Larry or Larry Laffer (Larry’s spitting image nephew) games then going back to the start where Larry first lost his virginity will not leave you with blue balls!

In Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards you play as Larry Laffer, a nearly forty-year-old virgin who has lived with his mother for his entire life. However, he suddenly realizes that this is no longer the life for him and sets out to meet women in the city of Lost Wages.
For the purpose of this review, I played the original EGA version. This Steam release also includes the 1991 remake.
This game, originally released in 1987, is a classic of the adventure game genre that spawned an entire series of Leisure Suit Larry games that continues to this day. Due to the age of the game, it may be a little difficult to review. It is an adventure game that primarily uses a text parser for the player to interact with the game. While this may be an unusual way to play a game by today’s standards, it was fairly common in adventure and text games decades ago.

One thing I will say first is that for people looking to see if you need to play the original before this… you don’t necessarily. It has some references here and there, but you by no means need to play the first game in the series.
With that being said, however, just like the first game, it is recommended to use some sort of guide or hints to finish this game, otherwise I can’t really guarantee you’ll enjoy this game very much unless you grew up in the era in which it released. It has very old-fashioned adventure gameplay mechanics that haven’t aged well such as dead ends that make the game unwinnable based on pretty ludicrous things you may have missed… even the official hint guide taunts you with these.

Leisure Suit Larry 6 - Shape Up Or Slip Out
I freaking love this game. Highly recommend this to all fan and non fans of this franchise, its a great starting point for new players and old players coming back to the series after a long period of time. Its also an awesome return to form for the series as it shows quite a lot of TNA and although Larry doesn’t score with every main girl he does score often enough and even when he doesn’t its pretty funny! An easy 9/10 game! Nearly perfect in every way!

Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love for Sail
This has easily and quickly become my favorite Leisure Suit Larry game! Its an adults only animated masterpiece! Finally, Larry has sexy in a game that is full of naked woman as it always should of been from the beginning. This game is fully voice acted and animated. Its something everyone should experience once! The humor holds up to this day in 2020 and the art style makes it a timeless classic! Im so glad Larry finally gets laid proper in one of his own games and this being the last true Larry game by Al Lowe both Larry and the game series really goes out with a bang! Both figuratively and literally! I love this game, 10/10! A must own for any and every adult pc gamer!

Just beat the game again, 100% completion this time with a guide and wow, so much nostalgia! I played this game when I was a kid on my grandmothers old windows 95 computer back in the 90’s. This game is still my favorite Leisure Suit Larry game to this day! Just off nostalgia alone! Highly recommend this game to everyone! Lots of pixelated boobs but its fine and the humor is still good, some of it anyway, Have fun with this one guys, its truly an adults only classic!

Princess Maker Refine
Tediously fun. for the first game in the series. When i first played it with a friend we made up the game of our daughter’s name and such, we got the best ending for our Elegant child be coming a noble woman. of course we didn’t know how endings works the first time. and the last ending i got for this game is her getting the noble woman Variant two, it all came full circle!
once you get really into it. you fine out what you have to do to get all the other endings. if your looking for a specific ending. Here’s the easy way to do it.

As a fan of the Princess Maker series and it’s western spiritual successors (Cute Knight, Long Live the Queen), I largely bought this as a curiosity to kill time and hopefully encourage the translation of PM 3-5. That’s where the series gets really interesting. As a piece of gaming history, it is amusing enough but hasn’t aged overly well. If you’re interested in the PM series, Princess Maker 2 is hands down the better place to start.
Gameplay consists of scheduling three classes/work placements for you daughter each month between the ages of 10 - 18. These placements then increase or decrease a selection of stats, with the goal of balancing these and developing your daughter into a successful adult (or not, as the case may be). For example, if you send your daughter off to work as a Hunter expect her Dexterity to rise, but her Glamour to crash. There is also the chance to send your daughter off adventuring in the wilderness, complete with simplistic RPG combat. Unlike PM2 your general success in the various ending seem to be tied to her Reputation as opposed to individual stats.

Aigor Escape from Bishop
Aigor Escape from Bishop is an excellent play so far (I’ve yet to complete the game at this time). It follows the classic fun point-and-click adventure game structure. What you’ll find different from the rest of the point-and-click games though are the spectacular graphics, and the way the designers have simplified the way you interact with different objects in the game. You simply left-click an object to pick it up or interact with it, and a quick right click brings up your inventory.
This game is very creative, and unique. It has a little bit of everything: mystery, humor, adventure, and plenty of puzzles that’ll keep you thinking. The game becomes more and more fun as you begin to explore and open up new areas of the map.

Street Racing Syndicate
Street Racing Syndicate is an arcade racing game, created on the wave of astonishing success of the Need for Speed Underground. There were plenty of them back in the days, but only a few deserves our attention after all those years passed. If you need comparisons, I’d say that SRS is more realistic than NFS Underground 1 & 2, and have some unique features to hold player’s interest - the most noticeable, the down-to-earth system of upgrades, and, of course, girls. Girls who encouraging the player with the original driving quests, and awards with private go-go dances, once you achieve something on the streets.

Pros:
-
Great atmosphere, it’s up there with Juiced 1 and Underground 1 as far as giving you a real import tuner feel goes.
-
Customisation is licensed, featuring well known brands such as VeilSide, C-West, Wings West, Streetglow and more.
-
Performance parts are also licensed, featuring well known brands such as AEM, Holley, Yokohama, GReddy, HKS and more.
-
Includes features that Need for Speed overlooked, such as betting on races and crew races.
-
Most of the import brands you expect are present, i.e Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, etc.

BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre
This is an enjoyable shooter chock full of rudeness, lewdness and dudeness. Definitely not for all audiences.
We play as Lou, the son of Satan and join him on his quest to reclaim Hell from the hordes of humans who have come for all the debauched pleasures on offer. Mostly these pleasures are fast food and sex. In order to save Hell from the invaders, Lou takes an arsenal of weaponry and blasts everything that moves into little tiny human or demon chunks.
The most obvious talking point of the game is it’s 18 rated content. There is a bevy of booze, drugs, rock n' roll and sexual references that definitely aren’t for all ages. A downloadable content patch removes censorship, but if you are easily offended, the game is not designed for you anyway and really having censorship is a moot point. Playing as the son of Satan, we shouldn’t be expecting a saintly protagonist. You will be shooting loads, in more ways than one.

For many players, the genre “twin-stick shooter” is a synonym for difficult games that mix fast-paced, long-range attacks, close-range mobs, and giant bosses with tons of health. BDSM is definitely a twin-stick shooter, but I wouldn’t say that this game is difficult. That’s because there are plenty of ways to abuse the combat system, in addition to a special ability called rage; (filled by defeating foes), that gives invulnerability and a lethal laser that overkills ANY enemy! It fits the game’s lore, but it’s unfair to the mechanics of the genre. You’ll never need to worry about ammunition, either: Almost everything in the environment is destructible. And since there’s a default weapon with infinite ammo, you’re covered even if you run out.

Mafia: Definitive Edition
Mafia the City of Lost Heaven is one of my top 5 games of all time. What Definitive Edition did was suck the soul out of an incredible game 19 years later, leaving behind a console-fied, dumbed down, version. Where to begin?
The voice acting is the first thing you notice. Paulie, Sam, and Tommy all went from sounding like Italian mob guys who aren’t caricatures to NNNYEEEEH SEE, FUGHETABOUTIT. Paulie keeps his character more or less, but his voice actor is horrible and obnoxious. Sam sort of retains his voice, but his persona goes from the “straight man” that Tommy would confide in, to a cocky jerk. Tommy’s voice actor was okay, but his personality got assassinated. Whereas originally he was a mellow but confident man and definitely not bloodthirsty, he went to being a cocky greaser type who happily kills scores of men and then hesitates to kill one more. Inconsistent character delivery and inconsistent motivations all around.

Good remake, but not enough. Let me explain myself.
Mafia the City of Lost Heaven was a game that I personally enjoyed more than i expected to back then, this game makes me feel like they removed every piece of the puzzle to make this memorable.
Pros:
-Good graphics (Night in this game is beautiful, day not as much)
-It has been nicely done for somebody that never played the first one, or that just wants a game with something solid, that, this game does it.
Cons:
-Does not have the full mob experience that the first one had, characters were entirely re-made (Voice and personality), making them seem some random street gang that wants to have fun without obeying the Don
