I enjoyed the first chapter and am looking forward to the next episode. The puzzles are logical and I was able to figure them all out without the help of walkthroughs etc. I found the nods to the other adventure games charming but not overbearing. I love the art style and am looking forward to more. All point and click adventure fans should be happy with this one.

Unbalanced units. Progress is easy. Currently too glitchy (immortal units and disappearing one prevent beating levels).

Heaven vs Hell - Good turn-based strategy. The game has a plot for the Angels and separately for the Demons.

Each of the typical units has its own strengths and weaknesses, so you need to place them correctly on the battlefield.

At the beginning of the game, you play as Angels, after defeating 3 bosses, Demons will open up to you.

The game is well-made and will definitely come in handy for fans of this genre.

This game is AWESOME! If you liked any of the monkey island games or any old school point and click/combine you’ll love this game. It has a different feature of detaching items you have previously attached so you have to really think about it. It’s a long game at least several hours as you change areas so much. It has extremely funny humor that is thrown in here and there and funny situations. If you like point and click games then you need this one for sure! 9/10!

It’s not a bad game, much better than the second part, but not great either, I feel like at some places it was a cent short of a dollar, and some non game breaking bugs were left in the game.

With some places the puzzles made sense but even when you figure out the solution there was an iillogical way to actually apply it, for example

! the puzzle with the magnet where you had to shoot it with the bazooka, clicking on the magnet with the bazooka didn’t work, yo had to click with the bazooka on one of the players in the room with the magnet And some puzzles made no sense at all, like the way you had to get rid of the dog.

Red Comrades 2: For the Great Justice. Reloaded

A poor attempt to cash in on the success of the previous game, about 25% of the locations and dialogs are from the first game, when I started playing at first I though I’m playing the first game again. puzzles are TOO easy to the point where you just need to visit all the locations a couple of times and youre done. The story line is very weak, basically one of the heroes gets some brain implant and they travel to the future to get it removed via plastic surgery, thats it. Most of the characters are reused, there are maybe 3 new characters in the entire game. The game itself is very short,

This game is more of add-on, than of sequel in a full meaning of this word. Much of game’s sprites vere reused, especially in the first location, but some new characters appears as jusk reskins of those from the “Red Comrades 1 ”. Also, albeit this game is stand-alone, it’s much shorter than the previous insallement, and can be easlily done in under in 50 minutes.

Conceptually, this game is mainly focused on how in the late 1990s developers saw “the land of the free” throught the prism of the Soviet folklore. They were also making fun of some “western realities”, that have been a fashion in Russia back then. Previous installement seemed to reflect briefly the same theme whilst our stay on the “Brothel level”, and this adds more.

The Henry Stickmin Collection

EPIC. SERIOUSLY. My review is quite late, but if your wondering to buy this, buy it. The storyline at the end all connects and just clicks, it’s got amazing graphics that it can even run on a windows 10 without any problems. The only problem i see with this is that.. its quite short. I complete this game almost in 3 days and i already have 80 achievements. I still enjoyed playing through this game, its really amazing but sad, because this is going to be the last henry stickmin game. I find this also really useful for showcases because its got all the games in one, so you dont have to go onto newgrounds or something like that to find the actual games, they are all there. And the amounts of bios is INSANE. I cannot collect all of them in completing the mission and i only have like 208. I definately recommend this to any youtubers out there, this game is still popular and might give your channel some potential, JUST IN CASE theres gonna secretly be more… So, small youtubers, you can try to grow your channel a little bit with this game! This game also contains alot of references to diffrent games, and actually contains HUMOR. I sometimes actually chuckled on these fails, they are hillarious. 9.9/10 game, its a little bit short, but amazing. Would recommend this game to anyone.

! i had to get a mouse for this game to right click the bios

To be fair, the game itself is short. And yes, you can essentially “experience” the whole thing on a youtube video. But the amount of dedication and time made into making hilarious situations and parts to trick the player are so funny and entertaining to see. The developer obviously poured their hearts to make this masterpiece, so I would recommend getting it to support them and be tricked by options that make absolutely 0 sense.

Goodbye Deponia

Goodbye Deponia

Goodbye Deponia, the 3rd and final game in the Deponia trilogy. To be honest, when I finished Chaos on Deponia I simply didn’t want to believe I was about to finish a so far amazing trilogy. I had a lot of fun with Goodbye Deponia, and it’s probably my favorite in the trilogy. There is just one thing about the game that I cannot stand but I am sure that everybody has previously mentioned. The ending. I just finished the game about 10 minutes ago and I really don’t know what to say about the ending. I’ll summarize the ending with 2 words; BULL. SHIT. I really dislike the ending of this game, I was really starting to enjoy it. Especially after the speech and the Organon hymne, but nonetheless the ending is complete and utter crap for a game this good.

The third entry in the Deponia series, rounding out the trilogy with a final hurrah. Pretty much the same experience as the other two Deponia games, both in puzzle structure and narrative. It might have the most character development out of any of the games. While it has some rather inspired moments, it also contains several jokes and sequences that range from uncomfortable to appalling. It’s a toss up really. It’s good enough overall that it gets a pass, but it cannot be excused of its faults.

The Dark Eye: Memoria

The Dark Eye: Memoria

Developed by: Daedalic Entertainment

Published by: Deep Silver / Daedalic Entertainment

Genre: Adventure, Point & Click

Memoria tells you a story of princess Sadja; the one who traveled from faraway land called Fasar to Drakonia- to fight demons in Gorian desert. Her own journey to reach the fortress was not easy, determined by her ambitions- she struggled to reach her own goals, but something happened, she disappeared, and her tale was forgotten.

Control & Gameplay

In this game, you will play through two different time periods as two main characters; Geron the bird catcher and Sadja the princess. Both characters have each unique stories and plots, Sadja as we know, she- pursuing her goal to be a hero, meanwhile in the present, Geron, wants to lift a curse from Nuri, her girlfriend. I expected I would not be confused with control, and I was right! It’s so responsive and easy to recognize (as there are some tutorials at beginning), especially when you are familiar with Daedalic games, they have similarity of controls. The best part, Memoria has a feature to show POIs (Point of interests) which helps you to see some unnoticable items or POI, so you will be able to solve the puzzle in no time (well, some puzzles need more efforts, but they’re not too difficult). There are also objectives and notes which can be handy especially when you accidentally skip a scene or dialogue. For both characters, inventories and magics are different, for example Geron has an ability to repair/destroy with magic, and he has Nuri’s Necklace, while Sadja’s ability to petrify, which make players have to remember a bit, but it’s not that hard for there are just several items and magic.

Great game.

Great story, great art, great characters, great voice acting. I was sad to see the game end. It’s of proper length and it has a satisfying ending and I hope it will get a sequel because I got attached to the main characters and would love to see (and hear) them again.

It has varying forms of puzzling which never bored or frustrated me. I glanced at a walkthrough a few times to hasten a few things up which I didn’t get right too soon, but I believe everything is solveable perfectly fine if one isn’t in a hurry and maybe uses a pen and paper to sort some stuff.

The Mystery Of Woolley Mountain

The Mystery Of Woolley Mountain

If you are a fan of good old fashioned point and click, inventory-based adventure games, this is really one for you. It is funny, well written and has excellent graphics and voice acting. The puzzles are challenging, but not too difficult and well integrated in the story, as they should be in a true adventure game.

With all those walking simulators around, they dont make many games in this genre anymore. I think it is importent that we support developers, who still make games like this one.

So a few months ago I played “The Mystery Of Woolley Mountain” on Switch and thought it was a good little adventure game. And then one day, the developer asked if I wanted to try the Steam version and I thought that was really nice. Most of my points from the Switch version are still there such as:

-Tells you exactly what you you have to do and item hints are very clear. Like saying looks like Auto so it’s one of the keys to get him back

-As amateur as it is, I find the art style charming

-Has a final boss.

This game is great fun! For anyone who is into arcade style score chasers, this is a must have! At 1$, this is a total bargain. It is repetitive, but, somehow, that isn’t really a negative with this game. It really works with it. It is light-hearted from the art style, to the music. Lots of fun and a good way to just jump into a game and unwind.

A lighthearted point&click adventure from a small team, slightly underdeveloped as a result. The first episode is about 50-60 minutes not counting decent achievement support, so it may require 2 playthroughs if you want to grind those. There are places where the experience could be improved, I still feel like it needs more sound effects in some areas, and the walking speed seems too fast. I usually don’t ask for voice acting in this genre, however, I think it would benefit the game just because I enjoyed the jokes so much, and I wish they were narrated. I thought the puzzles were good, but they can be a little confusing if you don’t realize that you can disassemble some objects.
