The Henry Stickmin Collection
EPIC. SERIOUSLY. My review is quite late, but if your wondering to buy this, buy it. The storyline at the end all connects and just clicks, it’s got amazing graphics that it can even run on a windows 10 without any problems. The only problem i see with this is that.. its quite short. I complete this game almost in 3 days and i already have 80 achievements. I still enjoyed playing through this game, its really amazing but sad, because this is going to be the last henry stickmin game. I find this also really useful for showcases because its got all the games in one, so you dont have to go onto newgrounds or something like that to find the actual games, they are all there. And the amounts of bios is INSANE. I cannot collect all of them in completing the mission and i only have like 208. I definately recommend this to any youtubers out there, this game is still popular and might give your channel some potential, JUST IN CASE theres gonna secretly be more… So, small youtubers, you can try to grow your channel a little bit with this game! This game also contains alot of references to diffrent games, and actually contains HUMOR. I sometimes actually chuckled on these fails, they are hillarious. 9.9/10 game, its a little bit short, but amazing. Would recommend this game to anyone.
! i had to get a mouse for this game to right click the bios

To be fair, the game itself is short. And yes, you can essentially “experience” the whole thing on a youtube video. But the amount of dedication and time made into making hilarious situations and parts to trick the player are so funny and entertaining to see. The developer obviously poured their hearts to make this masterpiece, so I would recommend getting it to support them and be tricked by options that make absolutely 0 sense.

Impossible Quest
This is a simplistic text-based game. The game offers four different stories. Each story has various endings that you can unlock. I do like that the game has a setting to delete the save file, although I’m not sure how much of a replay value this game might have (unless someone else in your house would like to play the game).
The biggest issue I had with the game is that there was quite a bit of grammatical errors. Some of the sentences needed a bit of work, not to mention some words were either misspelled or missing a letter. I didn’t see many bugs in the game, but the one I did spot had me going through a loop. It would make the biggest difference if the devs double checked the entire game for errors!

I must admit that I thought “Dull!” after the first few seconds of watching the trailer video. Then I saw that the game has more to offer than just clicking text boxes, like ‘Racing’; I ended up buying this game, which I didn’t regret: the game is inspired by the Impossible Quiz (series), has a lot of fine humour and at least knows some (great) references to
! (my favourite) series Lost: 4-8-15-16-23-42 ((un)lucky numbers), dynamite, which was found on the Black Rock (boat) etc. and HP and the Philosopher’s Stone; Chessboard Chamber ;-) It’s a Memory Game (remember what you chose towards an ending!), it’s fun and challenging; it also requires some out-of-the-box thinking if you want to make it to at least the most endings. Speaking of which, I considered a few endings unfair, especially because I’m not Russian.

Sid Meier’s Pirates!
Facts:
One time I played this game instead of studying for midterms. I never did better on midterms in my life.
Opinions:
This game is minigame-based-game-making done right. Sailing, naval battles, land battles, swordfights, dancing, sneaking into and out of town, and searching for treasure are each done in distinct minigames which are (except for sneaking and searching) engaging enough that I never think, “Aww, dang, THIS again. If only I could skip this.” (and sneaking and searching are only needed rarely enough to be a nice change of pace 90% of the times).

“SAIL HO!
The lookout reports a sail on the horizon.
Shall we?”
…
I don’t know how many times I saw that phrase in the past. I must tell you, that I’m in an easy, yet really hard position to share my view about this game. Because how could I write a subjective review, while being an ultimate fan of “PIRATES!” C64 version? Just look at my avatar here… :)
Some reviewers here already shared some really useful and detailed information about certain parts of the game… “pros and cons” are known for now… so for this time, let me please share my feelings, impressions, and express my passion for the game with you instead. Hence this won’t be a “generic” game review.

Life is Strange 2
Life is Strange 2
Life is Strange 2 is an episodic, story driven, supernatural-ish game in which your decisions will change the outcome of the story between the two brothers as well as their friends they made on the way.
Story
The main protagonist of Life is Strange 2 is Sean Diaz who tries to get to Mexico with his little brother Daniel Diaz after a tragic event at their home, in which Sean discovered that his little brother has some sort of supernatural abillity. Wanted by the police, the two brothers try their best to strengthen their bond on the way to their father’s hometown Puerto Lobos.

If you’re craving anything even remotely similar to the storytelling in Life is Strange 1 or Before the Storm, you should may as well look elsewhere. If you don’t like social themes in you games – regardless of subtlety or lack thereof – you’re probably wasting your time, too.
Minor plot spoilers for Life is Strange 1 and 2.
On a technical level, LiS 2 far surpasses LiS 1 and even BTS. Environments feel much less static. Dialogue is more fluid. You’ll find yourself wandering around, only to discover little quips and comments from Sean, Daniel, or the other characters minutes later. The animations are spectacular. Lip-syncing is no longer puppet-quality, although that issue was mostly resolved in BTS. You’ve got your standard Dontnod/Deck Nine beautiful environmental shots. While on the topic of visuals, LiS 2 is undoubtedly the most visually diverse Life of Strange game to date. You get to see sleepy small towns blanketed in snow, redwood forests in California, scorched deserts. You even get a small taste of that original LIfe is Strange vibe (you know what I mean if you play it) in Episode 1 that sort of lulls you into a false sense of security. You think for a second that this game will be kind of like the other Life is Strange games. Boy, are you going to be in for a shock.

Mayhem Brawler
15.09.2021
Recommend this game :smilekit:
19.08.2021 Unpolished and raw, but decent.
Ehh not best hitboxes (yours and enemies). Simplified combat. Sometimes input delay/response for your combination feels junky.
Prepare for no poise, counter hit bull$hithsu from punched enemies- they are being hit and hit you back(i understand that is an icon mechanism to track) Crowd control is not pleasent to play (prepare to spam safe move: “forward forward +P).
Fist attack needs to have bigger vertical hitbox, when enemies are very close you are unable to hit mob, or grab them

As a 43 years old gamer, I had the opportunity to play many beat’em up games on arcades. Golden Axe, Final Fight, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, Captain Commando, Punisher and much more. I loved them all. Now, thanks to several game developers we are able to get similar experiences again. Dragon’s Crown on PlayStation, Streets of Rage 4, Mayhem Brawler and the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge are some of the very nice examples.
The art style, graphics, sounds and the general atmosphere of this game is quite good. It’s a tad slow for my liking, but still it’s good and very well varied. Instead of dozens of same enemies with different colors, Hero Concept made themed enemies per stage. I like it.

Karma Miwa
Karma Miwa is for children but also for adults. I love its design and its music. It is a platformer and everybody love platformers, so, because of its cheap price, you have to buy it. You won’t regret it!
In Karma Miwa, you are playing two flightless birds which have only one solution to move on, jump. Through the levels, you have to find the solution that they meet each other.
– Real player with 3.9 hrs in game
Karma Miwa is a new take on the typical platformer games as it keeps track on the number of steps as well as the time taken to complete the level.
Controls take some time to get used to as you are restricted from doing stationary jumps which means that you have to plan your moves. Accuracy is of utmost importance as if you missed a step it could easily lead you to your death.
Traps are well placed, you may have to play the map several times to know and learn where they are placed. BGM is soothing and this game will definitely appeal to the young as well.

Tangled Up!
I liked the first 3/4 but in the last 1/4, it isn’t a puzzle game anymore. Even if you know how to complete the level, it’s hard to do it because of the timing needed.
– Real player with 5.2 hrs in game
Tangled Up! has child friendly art which makes the game look very adorable and fun.
Your moves have to be well planned and calculated as both opposite charges have to overlap at the same spot, at the same time.
The game also allows for customization dress up of the characters which requires higher levels to be unlocked to be applied.
The tutorial is very straightforward with instructions and tooltips. BGM gives the player a curious feel and is apt.
7/10

Genius Greedy Mouse
It delivers what it’s intended to. A simple, cute and charming puzzle game. I personally love the clay style :D
I hope someday this game received the attention it deserves

This is a game for lovers of mazes, block-pushing and item manipulation. It is a puzzle game based on the old BBC & Amiga XOR maze challenge for anyone who may remember it from years ago. For those who don’t remember XOR think Repton, Boulderdash, Chips Challenge but with emphasis on forward planning to solve the puzzles.
The graphics are really nice and well animated and the levels are challenging once you have completed the tutorial and maze sections.
There is no level editor sadly (but maybe the Developer will add one?) which is a shame as there is so much potential here!

Gedonia
For one, the developer really cares about this game and it’s still being updated. Two, currently it’s on sale and it’s definitely worth more than what it is, even normal price. If you want a fresh Indie RPG with a nostalgic feeling, character customization, and open world; this it it. Will update my review in the future.
::Update::
Still playing and it’s amazing. Finally got to building my house, it’s a bit quirky with the editing and camera controls, but it will only get better. I haven’t even touched Dungeon mode which has an increased level cap compared to Open World, so if you’re into Dungeon Crawlers; well this has a mode just for you.

Some people are be nostalgic for the 8 and 16 bit era, and there are a ton of Metroidvania and platforming games shoveled onto PC and propped up by paid reviews. Gedonia is something else, and it made me so happy. Rather than the more common rip on the Genesis, Gedonia is like a lost gem from the original X-Box era, in the realms of Galleon or Kameo. There are a lot of simplified, modern touches, but the purity of the game and fantasy genre is endearing. It’s like finding out there was a 3D Zelda game you missed, gameplay wise.

Ghost Sweeper
A really nice game 2d classic adventure which you have to do some puzzle task and manuever the correct way to reach your goal. The game comes with nice preview of everything, good sound/music, graphics, very cute(characters, enemies, weapons, etc). Has a good port and everything works as it is like sound, controls, fullscreen, music, etc. This game is simple but have alot of fun for only 38mb of download.
About the gameplay I enjoyed playing killing enemies, moving out, trying to figured out how to get safe grabbing stuff and coins to increase my loot and reach to the goal which is the door. This game is as it looks at it fun and more. I would recommend this game for anyone. Rate would be 9+.
– Real player with 26.1 hrs in game
Ghost Sweeper has the potential to be a cute and fun little game, but it’s not quite there yet. It has the graphics and gameplay - two of the several things that makes a game good. Unfortunately however, it’s lacking a lot in most other departments. Some text on the main menu for instance would be nice; leaving your players guessing before they even get to the actual game is never a nice thing.
But what irks me the most is probably the end screen, which blatantly says “Touch to go”. Touch. Now this may sound nitpicky considering how simple and miniscule it seems to many, but things like this always bother me big time. When games are ‘transferred’ from mobile to phone and they retain things that only make sense on mobile, it gives me the impression of laziness; and I strongly dislike that. Some achievements would do wonders too in separating mobile version from the PC version, while helping the game to stand out more and make people feel they are getting their money’s worth.
