Skitt
I want to first of all thank the developer for offering me a free evaluation key to his first game title here on Steam so that I could provide this review.
Unfortunately, that’s about all the thanks I can give this developer. I certainly can’t thank him for cobbling together a bunch of ultra cheap Unity store assets into the massive mess of a game he presents to the Steam store here. It’s a nightmare and asking a nickel for this game would be asking way too much for it.
Take a look for yourself in my First Impressions Review video HERE:

Rathe: The Beginning
ok sadly this game has only 1 plus point so far: the character creation. you can select your class, stats and it even has custom skins for each of the classes which is really nice and almost no game i know of offers this. this is also the main reason i gave this game a chance.
however i didnt play very far, the game is just not polished enough. 2 seconds into the game and the first bug came up:
if you walk too fast out of the room then first quest doesnt even start.
then there too many ghost doors and people. you can walk through them like they are not even there. or characters stand on walls inside some houses.

Dirty Bomb®
Dirty Bomb is a fast paced shooter with parkour elements and great gunplay with large, multiple objective maps.
For each match you build a squad of 3 mercenaries (“mercs”) you can switch to with each respawn cycles. This gives you a lot of variety in how you approach certain situations and which role to take in the team. Although each merc can perform any action the game requires, different mercs excel at certain tasks: medics can revive downed players quickly, engineers can repair, plant and defuse faster and combat mercs have “bigger” guns and more health. However, every merc is fully capable of winning a fire fight, so there’s no need for medics to camp it out in the back.

Update: They don’t. Stay clear of these reprehensible developers at all costs. They are run by extremely condescending and egotistical degenerates that:
talk down to to paying customers and lie to their audience to cover up incompetent game design and complete lack of a roadmap;
add characters to the game to its detriment so they can crutch on them in public lobbies;
ignore player feedback while not having any personal ingame experience;
remove dissenting PTS voices;
skip the QA process resulting in entirely nonfunctional updates;

Craft
In the near future, AI corporations have taken over and are hunting down anyone not cooperating. This lead to a robotic arms race as the remaining “free” people mod themselves with any tech they can find and fled to the deserts and other unpopulated oases. Now its every man for himself outside the giant numbered cities run by the AI corps. Squeezed between assassin robots and cyborg gangs, one man takes it upon himself to lock up anything that can be locked up and… reprogram the rest? Lets all just ignore the growing rumors of an “all consuming sludge” appearing from the south.

Power Chord
Power Chord is a team-based roguelike deck-building time-resetting battle against the demon gangs of Helmoth.
Assemble Earth’s mightiest musicians, each with their own unique cards and gear, to fight your way through the hordes and destroy the only guitar powerful enough to reopen the scratch between worlds.
Choose from a diverse cast of kick-ass characters to assemble your band, with each member having their own unique set of cards and playstyles. Combo your different band members’ cards to unleash devastating attacks and shred your opponents. Be careful though because if a band member falls in battle you’ll lose them and access to their cards in future battles until you revive them at a pit stop.
Discover new cards as you bar brawl stage-to-stage, unlocking new strategies to take down demons and strengthening your instruments of destruction. Choose your way through a branching path filled with battles, merchants, random encounters, and valuable rest locations to heal and revive fallen characters.
Valley Knights
I highly recommend Valley Knights for several reasons - but I think the most important one is that over the past few weeks I have found the developer to be extremely passionate about the game, listens intently to player feedback & is quick with patches/updates. Through my interactions with them I have seen first hand how much they genuinely care about the player experience & how much they want the game to be loved & shaped by the community / for the community.
If you have ever played a turn-based roguelike game & enjoyed yourself but wish a few things were different - this is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor to help shape an incredible game with a passionate indie developer creating a piece of work that is clearly important to them. This is all about building a great game, something the developer can stand behind & be proud of and that has been obvious to me through the developers actions to date.

Game isnt done yet but has a lot of potential,
WHAT IT NEEDS:
more items, more quest, more classes, bigger maps and more bosses.
Maybe ultimate or “super ability” during combat sometimes?
Better terrain tactics on the battle grid?
More vision and a larger playfield on the battle grid?
Randomly generated traps or random events on the battle grid? |
What it doesn;t need:
your asshole opinion, game is not done yet.

World War Z: Aftermath
Great 4 person coop fun with mates and solo, though bots can be pretty dumb. Large hordes, zombies are satisfying to shoot, specials are well designed with clear audio cues, directional sounds and fair counterplay just like in L4D2. Maps are varied enough to keep each session fresh, with daily and weekly challenges with unique modifiers to keep the game interesting.
Difficulty range is adequate with 5 levels of challenge, from easy to extreme. Harder difficulties will need good team coordination, map/objective knowledge and levelled weapons and classes for maximum advantages against the infected. Keeping silent to avoid unnecessary hordes is a key skill to learn.

Fun, not a long wait for random teams, levels are fun, game is smooth and finished. Not pay to win in any way, upgrades and skins all gained by game-play not cash.
Horde mode on Hard can be a lot of fun with randoms or friends
Normal and hard levels are really fun with randoms
Daily challenges can be difficult with random teams but do-able.
Pick it up for under $35 and its a good deal
