Path of the Abyss

Path of the Abyss

Path of the ABYSS is a single-player, grid-based dungeon exploration RPG.

You explore dungeons expressed in black-and-white pen drawings with your freely customized character and aim for the deepest level.

* Features *

・First-person RPG

・Real-time combatl

・Free character building

・Various mysteries and loot lying in the dungeon

* Combat *

The battle proceeds in real time.

By utilizing the skills each character has learned, you can strengthen your allies, block monster attacks, and use various other means to advance the battle to your advantage.

Since the monster’s behavior can be grasped in advance, it is also important to select the skills to be used accordingly.

The skills that can be used in battle must be set in advance in the “formation panel,” which consists of nine panels.

The type and position of the skills you set in the formation panel will greatly affect the outcome of the battle.

Which skills to set and where to set them is a major feature of this game.

* Character Build *

.Characters are selected from four classes: warrior, thief,cleric, and mage.

They can be built according to five basic parameters, weapon skills, class skills, and equipments.

Equipment can also have special abilities, which can greatly change the character’s abilities.

For example, a mage who uses self-enhancing magic to wield a sword on the front lines, a warrior who specializes in long-distance attacks, a thief who reliably kills enemies through covert action, a cleric who protects the party with heavy equipment, and many other characters can be created in the player’s imagination.

* Exploration *

.In Path of the ABYSS, you will explore a world consisting of one vast dungeon and several sub-dungeons that branch off from it.

These dungeons are seamlessly connected, allowing you to come and go as you please.

Solve the various mysteries of the dungeon, strengthen your character, and aim for the deepest part of the dungeon.

* Story *

.A small ruin in East Weltorden, which has been stolen many times and eventually decayed without attracting anyone’s attention, has been the site of many horrific monster sightings.

Those who dismissed the sightings as idle gossip and went there to test their mettle never came back.

The lord of East Weltenden sent a survey team to investigate the ruins, but the results were cruel.

Rumors of the ruins soon spread throughout the land, and many skilled adventurers began to visit the area.

You are no exception to this.

Cyber Defense

Cyber Defense

Changing my review back to positive, as the developer fixed the issue. A lot of levels were unattainable, now they are.

So anyway, basic tower defense game, with some pros and some cons.

The biggest pro is that it works, far too many tower defense games on Steam are broken or incomplete. This one seems to be pretty solid.

The look is also a positive for me, though it will not be to everyone’s tastes. It resembles the old vectrex games, for those who remember that.

The game has an interesting but limited array of foes. According to the developer, the spawner tailors the kind of attackers it generates to counter your defenses, and it does seem to have some effect.

I left negative reviews in the past because the game originally had quite a few bugs and issues.

But, the developer continues to release patches and address issues that are discovered.

It’s a fun tower defense game, I enjoy it quite a bit for the price.

Hope to see more features and maps come in the future, or for the game to be open for community mods and maps.

Excellent RTS in the simplest form but still fun. For those commenting negatively, the graphics are not the point, its the gameplay. I wish there were more levels. It reminds me of Alpha versions of games I used to work on in the early 90s. Kudos to the developer, it was well worth the few bucks I paid for it.

Nice little puzzle game. Turn-based, comparable to chess. Difficulty is easy for adults. Maybe challenging for children. What the game lacks is keyboard control (you can’t cancel menus with Escape) and a zoom feature. Would be nice to have. Hope to see some extra maps soon. Perfectly playable under Linux through Wine.

Thank you for programming this one!

The Rooster’s Chess

Not even worth the time to install.

–——————

No single player mode of any kind.

No players in the multiplayer que during prime time hours (2 days in a row).

Waited 4 hours a day on two different days and didn’t see a single other person logged into the game to even attempt playing against.

Also the menu interface is horrible and the in-game purchases are overpriced cosmetics for things like ugly background images.

Craft

In the near future, AI corporations have taken over and are hunting down anyone not cooperating. This lead to a robotic arms race as the remaining “free” people mod themselves with any tech they can find and fled to the deserts and other unpopulated oases. Now its every man for himself outside the giant numbered cities run by the AI corps. Squeezed between assassin robots and cyborg gangs, one man takes it upon himself to lock up anything that can be locked up and… reprogram the rest? Lets all just ignore the growing rumors of an “all consuming sludge” appearing from the south.

Gameplay

  • Turn based

  • Grid based

  • Level the protagonist via skill trees

  • Defeated enemies become allies

  • Level your allies

  • Choose a complementary team

  • Many roles to fill: DPS, Range, Tanks, Area Effect

  • Upgrade your base

Still in early development. All art is subject to change.

Extreme Peg Solitaire

Very fun and unique twist to an old and classic game. A lot of content for the price charged, with varied levels and mechanics. And the art is minimalistic but still cute. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys puzzles.

Irongrave Tactics

Irongrave Tactics

-This store page will continue to be updated as the game is developed-

The Emperor has decreed the Irongrave is ready - the tournament shall begin.

Recruit a team of gladiators and compete against friends and AI enemy teams in tournaments in the Irongrave, with tactical turn-based combat.

Tournaments

A tournament in Irongrave starts with you recruiting a team of 5 heroes - however you must pick from 10 randomly generated units - meaning you must be flexible and adaptable to win, rather than just being able to rely on a favorite strategy.

In-between tournament matches you have the chance to heal your heroes wounds, buy magic items, level up your heroes to improve specific stats and abilities and more.

Heroes

Over 18 different classes, ranging from melee Fighters, quick Monks, and powerful Wizards - to Necromancers able to detonate the fallen bodies of friends and foes.

Barbarian - Brash melee warriors able to charge enemy lines with high HP to tank hits, but low armor leaving them vulnerable to enemy status effects

Sorcerer - Ranged magic users that can deal damage in a wide area and set enemies on fire

Blood Mage - Magic users able to pull blood from enemies to heal themselves and shoot their own blood into allies - healing them at a cost of their own HP

Fighter - Melee heroes with high armor and consistent damage, able to keep enemies nearby

Necromancer - Magic users able to summon the dead, their Detonate Corpse ability makes them very powerful at the end of a round

Storm Mage - Ranged magic users focusing on AoE attacks with effects to slow and push enemies

Details on more classes to come…

Combat

Combat is quick paced and tactical - you will need to out-think and out-strategize your opponents, either AI teams or friends over Steam.

Many attacks inflict powerful status effects - from slowing enemies, preventing healing or stunning them. Each unit has a magic and physical armor value that protects them from these effects as long as that armor remains. Inflicting such status effects and keeping your own units safe is a major part of a winning strategy

Kitty Tactics

Kitty Tactics

As an SRPG guy this is a wonderful little treat. The only real issues I have are that the meta is pretty singular– you have to mitigate square takings, and then maximize yours, so it typically becomes befriend a bunch of cats and have kittens to flood the board with cats who shouldn’t take your squares up. Then you just let them sort each other out while you drive around grabbing tiles.

Some extra win conditions, map styles, and maybe an extra beginner class or two to spruce up the early scratch-lick-lick-lick-lick-scratch meta just a pinch. With these, Kitty Tactics would be in a great position as a simple, accessible, but variable and replayable game.

Real player with 3.5 hrs in game

While I am reccomending this game, it is what it says on the box. A $4 game with adorable cats. I personally love the concepts presented, and will be looking forward to any updates/improvements in the future. I feel things that would add to the game a bunch would be local or online multiplayer. This game would be brilliant with friends at a party, imagine the sight of 8 cats fighting it out, teaming, changing teams, and leveling up would be great. I feel the territory is a great idea that could have more added to it, such as buildings or other construction options. I’m not sure if that would take away the game’s simplicity, but I also felt late game it was difficult to keep territory out of enemy hands, which is why I suggested elements of construction such as walls or towers. But overall, worth what I payed for it. Can’t wait to see where it goes in the future!
