Great Clicker/Idle game! Started rough, But it is an Early Access game after all, Developer has fixed the balancing issues as well as added more content and is really fast when it comes to fixing bugs that have been reported to him.

My Downtown
so far so good.you can set your difficulty level (from easy to fairly hard) and the art style is nice. controls are nice and smooth. I would recommend this as a nice relaxed game or as a game that would be safe around young children.

Fun Match 3 game that rewards you with buildings for your city! Build it however you want. It’s all pretty standard, but still fun.

Malmyr
I stumbled across this recently, and have been enjoying working through the campaign. I give this a thumbs up primarily because of the enthusiastic and helpful developer responses to questions I had, and I feel I got my moneys worth of entertainment value. These guys deserve some more attention for their efforts. It is a game that I “like” but don’t “love”.
Malmyr offers some quite different mechanics to what you would normally expect, though not all of those are necessarily positive things (it is very mouse clicky) and can take some getting used to. Kind of revealing is the lack of a lets play series out there - people tend to bounce off it after a few hours I think. Fundamentally the game is more of a puzzler than a true building game - space is limited and the randomly generated tiles can require some planning before you commit to building. I am hoping to finish the campaign, I am always a sucker for trying to “finish” a game. I haven’t tried the sandbox mode though I may give that a quick shot once I knock off the last two missions, we shall see. I just have too many other games that are begging for my time and this just doesn’t have that magic X factor or depth of strategy tp keep coming back to.

Malmyr is THE game you’ve been waiting for a long time! What a pleasant surprise!
Malmyr is the perfect mix of real-time strategy and puzzle game. Because in Malmyr building your city is not made as easy as in other building games. Instead, you have to ensure an always sufficient flow of raw materials through increasingly complex road systems. but malmyr always remains clear, fair and, above all, relaxing. Relaxation is the perfect word to describe malmyr. You have no time pressure, you can correct mistakes at any time without losing your progress.

Aquaculture Land: Fish Farming Simulation
I enjoy growing fish and filling orders. Looking forward to addition of plants because the noise levels for equipment is too high. Much equipment is just not useful at all because the noise level. I have never used the breeding. I attempted once, but did not understand it. I did not like the public fishing feature; just not as satisfying as filling orders given the time it takes to grow them. I use the AUTO HARVEST feature at level 4 and the employees do all the work. That said, the equipment breaks down way too much, and at times a filter, etc would remain in a non working state for so long I had to sell and replace the item. And that said, I have played this game about 100 hours and really enjoy growing fish and filling orders… PS Arwana are very big fish, but seem to weigh as much as any other fish when grown….

I reccommend this game though I would say know what you’re getting into. This is a great little management game but it is early access and so it’s a little light on content. It can be slow/repetitive at times.
That being said, I get alot of enjoyment from Aquaculture Land. There is something really satisfying to the structure of the gameplay and I like how in depth the needs of the fish are. Out of my library this is the game I complete for a while, then find myself thinking of a few months later and jumping back on to play. I get just as much enjoyment out of it as my first playthrough. It’s very relaxing but there’s an element of planning, upgrading and designing your layouts, even though it has a chill feel to it. I dabble with alot of early access stuff and some of it can be a bit disappointing, or sometimes I feel I back a game too early for proper enjoyment personally, or sometimes the control scheme is way off what I expected and the controls don’t mesh well with me. But this one I really feel is a gem in the rough and I am very happy with it. I’m trying to think if I’ve encountered any bugs since I bought it but it’s surprisingly polished so it’s been quite a smooth experience for me personally. The main downside is it can be a bit grindy.

Predynastic Egypt
This is a very good turn-based strategy game. One game lasts around 200 turns, divided into 3 periods: the building of the first city, the conquest of the Nile, and a period of great prosperity. During each period, there is a number of trials to complete, and then a series of random events. The main line of the game and the trials follow the historical development of Ancient Egypt, from the times of nomadic hunter-gatherers up to the unification of all lands along the Nile and the first great kings. The developers found a balance between historical accuracy and enjoyment; there is a wealth of information to learn about these ancient times, presented as short paragraphs after events or discoveries. I learnt quite a few things!

Because of some really weird coincidence, I’m getting way too many mobile games in Steam lately. Here comes another one. Unlike many others, though, this one is pretty cool. And I’m not saying that because I’m a huge fan of historical games about ancient Egypt (if we can call such games historical with the entire Egyptian history being pretty much a fiction). It’s just… it’s a pretty cute and addicting game, really.
Long story short, it’s a very casual take on grand strategy genre with you dragging and dropping the icons of your workers on different regions of the map being most of gameplay. It sounds simple and, well, it sure is, but like any other good casual game, this one adds just enough complications to make it interesting, while keeping things simple. You’ll be able to praise the gods, there’ll be trials, you’ll be able to build stuff, there’ll be simplified combat and so on. The game also won’t push you and will let you to choose how to approach the other tribes. In other words, you’ll be able to both unite with them peacefully, or kick their buts and see them suffer. Your choice. Naturally, the entire thing is laughably historically incorrect, but again, what is? I mean, when the Impressions Games created Pharaoh (one of the very best games about ancient Egypt, go and buy it now if you still didn’t), the “history” tried to tell us that pyramids were built by slaves. Then boom! “History” changed its opinion. So… yeah. Don’t think too much about the accuracy, just enjoy the overall atmosphere.
