Aquaculture Land: Fish Farming Simulation

Aquaculture Land: Fish Farming Simulation

I enjoy growing fish and filling orders. Looking forward to addition of plants because the noise levels for equipment is too high. Much equipment is just not useful at all because the noise level. I have never used the breeding. I attempted once, but did not understand it. I did not like the public fishing feature; just not as satisfying as filling orders given the time it takes to grow them. I use the AUTO HARVEST feature at level 4 and the employees do all the work. That said, the equipment breaks down way too much, and at times a filter, etc would remain in a non working state for so long I had to sell and replace the item. And that said, I have played this game about 100 hours and really enjoy growing fish and filling orders… PS Arwana are very big fish, but seem to weigh as much as any other fish when grown….

I reccommend this game though I would say know what you’re getting into. This is a great little management game but it is early access and so it’s a little light on content. It can be slow/repetitive at times.

That being said, I get alot of enjoyment from Aquaculture Land. There is something really satisfying to the structure of the gameplay and I like how in depth the needs of the fish are. Out of my library this is the game I complete for a while, then find myself thinking of a few months later and jumping back on to play. I get just as much enjoyment out of it as my first playthrough. It’s very relaxing but there’s an element of planning, upgrading and designing your layouts, even though it has a chill feel to it. I dabble with alot of early access stuff and some of it can be a bit disappointing, or sometimes I feel I back a game too early for proper enjoyment personally, or sometimes the control scheme is way off what I expected and the controls don’t mesh well with me. But this one I really feel is a gem in the rough and I am very happy with it. I’m trying to think if I’ve encountered any bugs since I bought it but it’s surprisingly polished so it’s been quite a smooth experience for me personally. The main downside is it can be a bit grindy.

Voxel Farm Island

Just another crappy mobile port. With diamonds and time to wait and stuff like that. Game is ugly and very child oriented. Characters are totally shallow AND THEY ALL SPEAK LIKE THIS IN FULL CAPSLOCK.

Never asked for a refund so fast.

Catizens

Catizens

Herding cats is easy! Said no one…ever

Your main job in Catizens is to build your town around the personality traits of its inhabitants. Just like in real life, cats require personal attention and special treatment. Combinations of different personality traits and moods affect their proficiency and obedience. Catizens form relationships with each other and will occasionally issue personal requests, so you will need to learn what makes each cat happy in order to stay on their good side.

Create unique cats and design the perfect home

Pick from an assortment of facial and body features, as well as personality traits to create cats with distinct looks and temperaments. Design a place just for them by decorating the interior of their home with pieces of furniture, plants and other items. The better furnished a house is, the happier your catizens will be. So get creative!

Build and manage your settlement

Catizens can learn a variety of professions – from farming, to blacksmithing or offering protection from local wildlife. Different building types unlock depending on the traits and professions available. There’s no need to micromanage the entire settlement when it gets large. Invest your time and attention in a few outstanding cats and let them become town leaders.

Explore the wilderness

Develop your settlement, complete objectives and expand to areas with different environments that offer new adventures. Carefully examine your surroundings to find the best fishing spots, hidden treasures and quirky characters that may offer a quest.

As a big fan of adventure and fantasy games. anime, and web/light novels, this game is totally my wet dream lol and no, I have neither read the novel nor watched the anime, and I haven’t finished the entire story YET ;) wink

With a bit of isekai vibe (I don’t even know why I get it from this game), you start your new life in game as a adventure and a drug dealer or a pharmacist as a kids friendly term. Though you can pretty much sell everything and anything in your apothecary, like sometimes your customers will come and rob you off the egg you’ve been saving to make eggs and bacon…

Huge fan of the manga and now the anime. Very fun RPG that is reminiscent of Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley. You gather herbs and other resources as well as fight monsters in dungeons in order to obtain supplies for crafting and potion making which you will need to sell in the character’s personal store.

For an early access game, there is a LOT of content. Took me 27 Hours to complete all available main quests and side quests. Was also able to complete a majority of the wishlists for the other characters with the exception of some items which are too rare to obtain. Also only missing 1 achievement, but I did not want to grind a few more hours when I essentially finished all the available storyline quests.

Littlewood

Littlewood

An ultimate chill game to keep your mind at ease, with an added bonus if you are in for countless exploration and adventuring. This game is at the best of both worlds.

Pro(s)

  • Lovely Pixel Art: Overall graphics are simple and awesome

  • Calming and Peaceful: Audio track induces really chill vibes, no stresss

  • Paced and Relaxed Storyline: Straight to the point storyline - The game revolves around you being the hero after defeating the dark wizard and rebuilding your very own town. As day passes in the game, there will be new variants such as new townfolks, town objects and items, depending on what you do in an in-game day. There is no rush into anything and you can take your time to figure things out (playing at a pace you like can essentially prevent grinding xD)

I really enjoyed the beginning of the game and the progression, up until a certain point. I’d still recommend the game, but with some caveats. There are some really nice positives, and most of the negatives have to do with how the game fizzles out towards the end.

Pros:

Design: Cute and simple. I like most of the designs and the art.

Progression: Good feeling of progression at the start. The number of things you can upgrade and work on make the beginning of the game feel nice in terms of making progress on goals.
