Hell Architect
Hells Architect is my first ever review, and one of the reasons why I decided to leave a review for this game is because I am surprised by the mixed reviews the game is currently at (day 2 of release). In my opinion, the producer and developer of Hells Architect launched this game correctly; they ran a successful campaign by keeping the customer in the loop during development, they released a playable demo, they sought feedback from testers, are continuing to listen to feedback, and perhaps most importantly – they delayed launch by several months until they had a viable product ready to go that they were proud of!

I feel awful posting this review, but I’m hoping that the dev team will fix the issues that I have with the game over time. It’s not that I don’t recommend the game, I just don’t recommend it right now and at the price I paid for it (more than $20 in case someone is reading this later after a price change). I’ve completed every stage with the exception of the final mission as of this writing (and I intend to complete that stage), as well as played some of the sandbox mode. My actual playtime is a bit lower than what the review will have listed, since I had to leave the game open while I wasn’t actively playing it (more on that below).

Laruaville 11 Match 3 Puzzle
This is a great Match 3 game. The story is better than most Match 3 games.
It’s every bit as good as Laruaville 7 and Cursed House, all by the same company. The mechanics are very similar with a few new additions.
The whole point of each Match 3 level is to figure out what to do. There is a hint system if you need help, and it’s good. Remove all of the gold coins, and the level ends. Interspersed between Match 3 boards are mini-games like Rush Hour, Spot the Difference, Hidden Object, Mahjong, etc. You can choose Relaxed, Timed, or Limited Moves. I prefer limited moves as it’s more like a puzzle.

A good game with just enough difficulty to make you think. If you’re familiar with their “Cursed House” series this is similar. I enjoy playing them all.

Mythos: Slavic Builder

Before the missionaries came to the Slavic lands to start writing down the known history, there was the Age of Mythos:
Forests, valleys and fields are full of creatures from Slavic beliefs. Even though they may look like monsters, you don’t have to fight them all. Make proper offerings to them and you will gain powerful allies.
Give your workers a roof over their heads and a good supper and they will build a thriving settlement for you. Do not disappoint your subjects, because dissatisfied people may leave you.
A long spear and a sharp sword will always be useful - your settlement is threatened by monsters, other tribes, Vikings or even demons from distant lands.
Follow Slavic traditions to earn points that you may spend on special blessings from the gods - the warlike Perun, the generous Mokosh and the mysterious Veles.

Exodus Borealis
I feel like it is important to point that this game this is made by solo dev, who has been great at interacting with everyone in discord and is willing to listen. Now those of us that have dipped into the early access games will know that this is something to cherish lol.
Also the Gameplay well let me go into more detail about that, but it is important to remember that it is early access so may change after i write this review but what i have found so far is:
Tower defence - The towers have this kinda Age of Empires feel to them this brings back that old nostalgia i love that! There also is an Arachnophobia mode this is something i recommend you play i wont tell you why, just trust me it is worth it! The enemy ramp up nicely giving a good amount of failure and felt to me like fun Gameplay

This game is excellent for civ building and tower defense gamers. I am a seasoned (72 years old) player of both. The combo of both makes the game intriguing and challenging. It has depth without drudgery. Folks who do not play either of these genres may like this one just for that reason. To me there is a third aspect included - research. Which path should you choose first. There is no formula - one choice may be the best this go round but not in the same sequence the next time. And there will be a next time as you progress from map to map. Deciding how to allocate workers is another juggling complexity. The Dev’s UI design is a thing of beauty. Easy to use, informative info tips and an effective warning/informing system. Whatever your gaming proclivity I encourage you to give this one a try. It is just that unique.

When you learned of this, you struck out with your family, leaving the safety of the human kingdom to venture into the wilds to settle and establish trade with the Dwarves.

Modular building - Hundreds of modular building pieces available, build entirely custom structures and layouts piece by piece

Build Plans - You act as the build planner by placing all the pieces and build up modular buildings, then begin construction. Those build plans pass to the job system to be constructed by your workers. You can have many build plans in construction at the same time.

Full Preview - Build plans allow you to see what your buildings will look like fully connected and rendered in game. Your workers will only act on them when you start construction. You can cancel construction at no cost, so you can attempt endless Build Plans until you like what you see.

Edit buildings - Once placed and built, all building pieces can be removed or added allowing no end to how you customize and evolve your world

Assign Builder - Assign anyone for basic construction (fire pits, wood fencing etc) up to master builders for epic monuments and castles

Blueprints

Save Build Plan as Blueprint - Start placing items as a build plan. When you have a collection of pieces you want to re-use (like a small house, or a smith) you can save the current build plan as a Blueprint. This allows you to place the entire Blueprint as a single building piece later, over and over.

Everything with Blueprints - You can use the Build Plan feature simply as a way to make many different Blueprints. Make a Build Plan, save as a new Blueprint, then Cancel the original Build Plan.

You can be as involved as you want to be, but the more work you put in to managing your Kingdom, the more effective your population will be.

Risk - Outside the safety of city walls, the world is dangerous. From wild animals and other creatures, to bandits, and tribes of Orcs… or worse!

Heroes - While most of your population will be regular people with jobs, you may attract, hire, or train up legendary heroes. Take your party of heroes on adventures and quests while leaving your kingdom to be run by the local council, or send your heroes out on their own.

Encounter Areas - The main map is for building your sprawling kingdom. Learn through rumors about quests where you assemble a party of heroes to adventure out into the wild including dungeons, over-world swamps and forests, crypts and other deadly lairs.

Variety - Your main character is the leader of your town, with the goal of eventually becoming a great ruler. You can also switch between any character in your Kingdom. Each character has their own unique skills and traits, training level, and inventory.

Sandbox mode available - build anything you want without restriction or having to worry about resources, money, or dangers.
ValeGuard
ValeGuard places you as a commander charged with the protection of the Vale. You journey town to town and with the assistance of heroes and villagers, you build and strategize during the day to prepare for assaults that can come at any given night. Each village has a set amount of days in which to defend before the arrival of the big baddies on the final night. This all leads to the big show down with the Big Bad Head Honcho and his Dark Generals…don’t worry, the final boss isn’t named ‘Big Bad Head Honcho.’ If your heroes die or the Inn is destroyed, game over…and I think we can all agree that a village without access to booze simply deserves to go up in flames. So keep that sweet, precious Inn upright.

Early Access (5/14/18): I am really enjoying my time with this game. ValeGuard is an addicting mix of Tower Defense, Real-Time Strategy, and City Building. Each village (level) has a different setup, so you’ll want to figure out where you want to build, and where to defend. There are many types of heros with different abilities that will also level up after experiencing some combat. If those heros surive they will also be carried over to the next village (I was very happy to see that). The game has depth to it, and there are a few different systems in place that you must keep in mind to be really efficient, but it’s not super complex or the type of game that is going to take a long time to figure out either. Once you hit that sweet spot of increasing your population, so they can do different tasks, while building up an army and improving your heros it gets really satisfying to see your plans come to fruition. Also, some great music that really sets a mood that goes well with this type of game (if you like good and relaxing video game music I recommend getting the soundtrack). As of this review I am over 4 hours in, and it already feels polished and more complete than any Early Access game I’ve played. The game starts at a great price, so if it sounds like something you’d enjoy I’d say give it a shot.

MAGIC POT&TER BATTLEGROUNDS
This game is garbage. I just bought it on sale because it was on my backburner of stupid purchases because of spellcasting Palpatine.
When you start this game, you immediately spawn in some castle ruins. You move with WASD… kind of. W makes you move forward as you would expect, but A and D don’t make you move sideways or turn. Instead, you move forward while gradually turning left or right. This is the most “Tank controls” I have ever seen. S makes you duck. You can’t move back. You can roll by pressing space, but annoyingly, it opens that weird box up there where you can change your language, I suppose? It doesn’t really work, so I dunno… By pressing the left mouse button, you can attack with either your sword or your staff. You can somewhat control the camera by moving your mouse, if you swing it around on one side (hard to explain, it’s just weird).
