Everything I expected, and I expected to like it!
Game themed ambiance while I work! I think this is one step closer to making real life as video-game-esque as possible, so I fully support this effort.

I love this stuff. This is a strange cosmic trippy VR experience that makes you feel weird and I like it. A masterpiece of the art form. Thanks for the free experience.

Lighthouse Keeper
This is not a game but rather a narrated story from the life of a lonely lighthouse keeper. You get to follow his actions, thoughts and obsessions. The narrator’s voice expresses how it feels to be stuck in constant solitude quite well. You can also feel the nervous tension and a slight bit of insanity caused by the endless loop of mundane tasks. The music and the sounds complete the unsettling atmosphere, the writing is good, and the visuals are unique. It’s short, takes about 10 minutes to finish, but still offers an interesting experience. I really like it. :)

A short, narrative-driven title with a pretty cool art style.
This is more of a visual novel than a game, as there are only two simple interactive moments mixed in with the narration. What you do or don’t do in those moments is what lands you one of two different endings.
The voice acting is really good, in my opinion. The actor successfully conveys a feeling of obsession, mental exhaustion, and a touch of madness. Music and sound effects are also good, and add to the bleak, lonely atmosphere.

Where the Snow Settles
Absolutely loved Where the Snow Settles! It’s a beautifully put together game with a wonderful narrative and art style. I additionally loved the soundtrack and would often have the game playing in the background whilst I would work from home because I loved it that much. Great to see an Australia team do such terrific work!

Where the Snow Settles is a gorgeous cinematic experience that’s almost perfectly sized, easily playable over a single long session or two smaller ones.

The Night Way Home | 帰り道
The Night Way Home | 帰り道 was a fun experience. It’s definitely a good game, with a lovely story, but also needs quite some polishing…
The first big thing to talk about, is the panic meter, which is a pretty cool mechanic. Stay calm unless you want the spirit to know exactly where you are. What I would’ve preferred though, is that it was a little more punishing. For me, there was no real “fear” when I was panicking, you just start dodging the spirit while going to your objective, and that’s pretty much it. I would’ve preferred if it were a bit more “stealthy”, which would’ve made the whole experience a lot more rewarding.

Wth Chillas Art? I’ve enjoyed the majority of their titles, especially the atmospere and slow build.
Here there is no atmosphere, no build up, instead of which we get infuriating gameplay. Being harrassed by ghosts and constantly running away from objectives in maze like enviroments. After an hour I am much more annoyed than scared.
You want to get somewhere or do something, getting a ghost in your way, having to run around like crazy (because they are fairly fast), round round ‘til it chills down, and then hopefully get something done or find something new.

Lost Dream
First, there was WORK TRIP. A short and simple Game in a colourfull World. Lighthearted and chilling with a nice Music. And so was the second Game HIKE. It was like that, too, but it added an Exciting Atmosphere.
Now we have the third Game of Morning Shift Studios.
Welcome to LOST DREAM.
At first,LOST DREAMS seems to be inspired by THE FIRST TREE, it feels like a Bow to it.
In both Games we have a wonderfull World, nice Piano Music and a Fox on the Search.
And i like it.

I love this game, though it honestly is tiny. It only took me thirty five minute to unlock all the achievements and play through the game twice. And the second time I was poking around, having fun. You play as a fox who is off to rescue his vixen. In your search you’ll travel across several colorful levels, jumping, swimming, and figuring out a puzzle.
I enjoyed it, but if you are expecting the scope or storyline on The First Tree, you might be disappointed. You are a fox, complete with cute little fox paws and swishy tail. The swimming and running animations are cute, and there are nice details like falling leaves.

My Bones Remastered
I got this game on sale for 75% off (.49 cents USD) and it’s honestly worth about that. Even with the major update made days before my purchase, there is just not much to do in this game. Which is a shame as it’s beautiful in it’s own surreal sort of way and what is here shows promise.
You do get to break some boards, fetch some keys and read some notes, but the dev wasn’t kidding about it being a walking sim. There is one puzzle, but the jump scares are audio and the promised horror of the beast never comes for you. It honestly feels like the final level of a much bigger game.

Well, it certainly looks a lot better than the original version…which I see I gave a measly 3.5 out of 10. So how does it compare in regard to gameplay?
I’d be lying if I said that I’ve played the original so many times as to know it inside-out, but…I’m pretty sure it’s much the same.
My character awakens in an admittedly atmospheric cemetery, and heads straight for a boarded-up crypt in front of me. I enter the crypt and find…nothing. At least nothing I can interact with: my character has no use for axes, it seems, and I have no idea why the cute bunny statue is sat beside the axe in question. A homicidal hare in waiting, perhaps? So far, so perplexing…
