Survive or Thrive
Secret word: Purge
Chance of survival: Extremely High
Sorry, but I’m not satisfied with this test. The mind gymnastics was nice but I left this test not finding a closure. I wish Steve would start cracking up a joke or become heart-to-heart with me, just like the other test givers.
The questions are disorganized and far too odd. I don’t see the pattern leading up to my first answer.
On the good side, the music is fine. The ending managed to make me feel… an unknown yet strong emotion. I can’t quite put my finger on it. The questions do make me think about what really matters to me in a life or death situation,

Kinda like those psychological tests you can do on the internet, but more fun.
I like to review hypothetical scenarios and think about how I would actually choose in those situations.
Like all kinds of those tests tho, some questions could really use some more context or additional Information as sometimes several choices could be the “best choice” for survival, depending on the circumstances of the individual situation.
My result was: Very high chances of survival on the mental asylum through planning and manipulation of the other patients and the asylum staff.

Silk Roads: Caravan Kings
Here’s the deal, even if this game is not the most polished thing I have ever played, it shows potential. I mean the developer shows potential. It’s kind of like Oregon Trail, if you’ve ever played that. The thing that impressed me the most about this game however is the developer(s). They are willing to listen to a LOT of feedback. It’s very encouraging to have a developer who does this, especially in this day and age. While its not a huge grand strategy game like Hearts of Iron or an amazing role-playing game like Crusader Kings, it definitely deserves a place.

In any game there comes that particular crossroad point of is there enough to keep me interested or do i go back to the old faithful ones. Four hours of game time in i think i have hit that crossroads. I am now wondering if there is more to it or have i had my fill. I had this game on my wishlist, and part of my decision to purchase was based on its pricing.
I like the map set up, and the game icons are simple and to the point - which is a good thing. I concur about other reviewers statements about character development - the cat, the lute and the fishing rod. However, once the initial surprise of receipt is over, the actions around them seem disconnected and grindy. To be fair, the not wanting to disappoint my customers aspect of my gaming personality means I have not ventured too far to the East, as I want to meet my contract obligations.

Quiver Dick’s Terrible Tale For Terrible Parents To Read To Their Equally Terrible Children
When I first saw the preview for Quiver Dick’s (hehehehh well played steam…) Terrible Tale For Terrible Parents to Read To Their Equally Terrible Children, I knew I needed to play it. This game has dark humour, hilarity, a thirsty fairy, awesome music and is dripping in both in-your-face smut and innuendos.
This game is so well put together with incredible art throughout and has the capability of three different possible endings. There are easter eggs as well as nods to music, film and video games throughout with the game clearly being self aware.

First off, if you read the title you already know what kind of game this going to be, and if you already know what kind of game this is going to be your expectations will be high…this game does not disappoint. Off the rip in the opening credits I was enjoying a Monty Python feel (which for me is always a belly laugh kinda experience). The names in the game, the dialogue, the situations encountered..everything about this game felt like it was directly tailored to my idea of humor. The game in and of itself is well made, crisp, and nostalgic in its craft. The laughs will come a plenty and it actually has replay value (which for me as a completionist is awesome). Highly recommend this game for streamers who want to have a good time with their chat and go on a comedy filled journey that will have a lot of “lol’s” “wtf’s” and “LMFAO’S”. Well done Crankagegames…well done.

Farmer’s Life: Prologue
Really enjoyed playing this game. I had trouble with lag but lowered the graphics and now everything plays fine and still looks alright.
So far, I’ve played the tutorial. I played another game collecting everything I could find until the demo was over. Played another game, collected eggs, made food on the stove and cut the field to plant when it stopped. The next game I’ll see what else I can do.
It’s the only historical farming game I’ve found. Others say they’re historical, but they really aren’t.

1/15/21-Please remember this is a demo and give it a fair chance. I really enjoyed it. This is my kind of game and is unique in it’s story line. If you are confused as to what to do, follow Fluffy the pig. He is smarter than the main character and will show the way.
This game has a ton of potential. I’m not going to be critical because this demo is so new but I will gladly hand over my money to buy it when or if it is ever released as a full game. The possibilities are endless if they continue forward with this.

Recycle My World
An interesting twist to the “trading”/ “management” genre…
I discovered this game about 5 hours ago and I was really interested because of how ‘abstract’ it seemed.
From what I’ve found out - this game is made by one guy? Given that and the price I do think this is a good game but… I do have some points/ suggestions that I feel could make this game better.
The good:
-
A unique take on the ‘trading’ genre - but NOT an adventure game in my opinion.
-
Abstract but creative world design.

really great game, I’ve waited for a bit for it to come out when I saw it on gamejolt.
Abit confusing but you’ll get the hang of it easily, I’ve only played for about an hour and I already run into some trouble with the customer’s timer/patience, something else is how slow recycling was because I was carrying one item at a time and questioned if there was an inventory in the game… all in all fantastic experience that I’m gonna come back to tomorrow! hope it gets developed further!

The Vellescian Gambit
The Vellescian Gambit is a very neat game that looks like a visual novel, but is actually more of an economics-based puzzle game embedded in a well-written but compact visual novel. I highly recommend it for those looking for a new twist on the VN genre, or games with economics or trade-related themes.
Your character is given a particular mission that needs to be accomplished with limited resources and time, and nearly every single choice has small consequences that add up and determine what happens. In this sense, it is quite different from your run-of-the-mill VNs, where the player has very limited control over what happens. You freely choose from many possible options, ranging from which routes to take and the pace of travel, how much protection to hire, and what commodities to buy and sell along the road (or whether to do any trading, as it can cost you precious time).

Artemis
Review at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmZKPozT1Hk
I’m sorry to say that this game is very unimpressive, regardless it being free. The instructions are on the steam page if you wish to find out how to play, therefore it jumps you right into the game. There is sooooo much wasted empty space. The matching eggs and so forth can easily be put into a simple smaller grid. The description describes like you can compete against someone, but If you can, I have no idea.

Lost Angel
the plot is a bit far-fetched and the acting isn’t perfect (especially when they fall down), but overall an entertaining game with many branches and choices that change the course of events

I love FMV games, I almost bought and played every full-motion video game on steam. To my disappointment, Lost Angel didn’t meet my expectation, especially with the topic of the game itself. When you read the game information about the main character, a youtube influencer getting involved in a dangerous conspiracy, you’d think it will be an exciting story, but once they mentioned the Covid-19 virus, it all went down and started to become a cheap story- not that it wasn’t from the beginning due to the mediocre acting.

Bakery Magnate: Beginning
It’s a fun game and I played it for a good 5 hours non-stop. There are a few issues with it that make longer playthroughs a bit of a chore. The main problem is that produce goes bad too fast, making inventory management an eternal race against the clock and a bit of a nightmare. Second issue is once you start producing your own bread and taking orders, there is no way to automate transfer of items from the breadmakers to the trucks for deliveries meaning you have to do everything manually, item by item. For the price (free), I think it’s worth trying out, just not sure about replayability.
