Run TavernQuest

Run TavernQuest

This is a game you won’t be playing. Instead, you will be behind the scenes, overseeing the inner workings of the game for another player named STEVE. Can you shepherd STEVE away from his poor decisions and towards the goal of saving the princess?

Run TavernQuest is the endeavor of one sole developer named Collin Eddings, whose other work includes contributions to The Stanley Parable. The game is styled after old school text adventure games, but doesn’t require any typing. Instead, STEVE is the player and he types commands to you. Your job is to interpret his words and choose how the adventure proceeds based off of his input. When STEVE types go door, what lies behind the door? The choices you make can lead him down drastically different paths, but ultimately it’s up to STEVE to win the game.

  • Choose how the environment and NPCs respond to STEVE’s stupid commands!

  • Full voiceover from a very talented voice actor (announcements soon to come)!

  • Engage in text-based combat where your goal is to lose every time!

  • Experience frustration as STEVE ignores every single one of your plot hooks!

  • Go blind staring at green text for several hours!*

*Or, you know, just configure the game’s settings to make things easier to read

Explore a wild wild WORLD!

Saving the realm from evil anthropomorphic villains is hardly a novel concept in the wild world of videogames, but don’t go expecting this adventure to stay run-of-the-mill fantasy for long! Castles, temples, starships and vaults! Travel from the digital depths of a dungeon to the surface of the moon with barely any cohesive plot holding it together! The Developer created a world so full of strange lore and wonderful locales, you’ll start to question your own sanity!

Challenge the Developer and find all BUGS you can!

The Developer swears the game he has created is the best one ever made, but the sorry state of his code begs for a much needed reassessment of his claims! Did you really think finishing the game would be enough to finish tERROrbane’s story? Think again! Your choices shape your journey across the world, delivering you to wildly different sections and environments, going back and choosing differently will usher you to completely different stories and characters, adding new bugs to your collection! Who’s to say you won’t find a way to explore even beyond the ending credit scene?

Carrier Trail

Carrier Trail

I have not played the game for very long yet, but doing my paly through I stopple upon a dragon quest, and I felt like Bilbo Baggins from the Hobbit. I have no negative words to say about this game, it feels like you are in a different world and it is awesome, would recommend.

Lastly to CrakedGhostGames thx for this game hope you will make more games of the same caliber.

This is a fun little take on the Oregon Trail type formula of journeying with limited supplies.

The game is a little tongue in cheek, though there are some more dramatic moments.

There’s a wide variety of events in between towns and landmarks that are always the same.

This is definitely a fun game that’s good for a couple afternoons of adventuring in a crazy crazy land.

Milo’s Quest

Milo’s Quest

Really fun game! little 2D pixel graphycs that made me think of Zelda and the first pokemon games. Challenging to remember the path without a map to guide you, so there was a bit of back and forth, but overall very cute and fun game! Puzzle are pretty easy I’ll admit, but some will make you think a bit about your next move. completed the game at 102% apparently XD For the price, it’s a fun game to try!

Cute zelda like RPG with casual difficulty. Works very well with a controller. The sokoban puzzles are quite easy and the game can be completed in 2-3 hours. The game could have used a reset puzzle button or something because the movement of boxes is janky at times and leaving the room and re-entering it to reset the puzzle also respawns the enemy units in the room that you have to kill again before you can start the puzzle again.

Other Worlds India

Other Worlds India

Achievement is a national flag and easy to unlock.

Just start playing the game, it unlocks all.

But that’s the only reason I decided to buy this game.

Real player with 3.6 hrs in game

Cheap game from Russia. With this I mean, theres zero quality.

You die from one hit, controls are horrible and theres no tutorial or story.

Whats the point of this game? Nobody knows.

Stay away for now, might be OK after full release, but now it’s part of Steams shovelware collection.

Arcade Spirits

Arcade Spirits

First things first: I really, truly enjoyed this game. That maybe sounds like an understatement, but I think it’s worth stressing: Arcade Spirits is just. so. enjoyable. It’s good-natured, goofy game about pursuing your dreams and the power of friendship as much as it is a dating sim, and I was completely charmed by the total sincerity of its story and characters. My literal only complaint is that I couldn’t spend more time with all of them (more on that below).

Arcade Spirits’s core cast is obviously the main draw, and in terms of characterization, the game really delivers. I was really impressed by how the game avoided obvious dating sim archetypes and introduced a lot of depth to characters I wasn’t certain I would connect with (particularly Ashley and Teo). I also appreciate how the game doesn’t shy away from more serious issues, particularly in Percy and QueenBee’s routes – it’s not a coincidence that these are the two routes that I think are the game’s strongest, and it has a lot to do with how Percy and QueenBee’s problems (and dating hang-ups) are rooted in real-world issues. The overarching plot is goofy (in a good way!), but the characters feel grounded and real, and you’re encouraged to take them seriously in ways that I think really, really work.

I’ve only had the time to sit down and play through this great game once, but I feel like it’s given me a pretty good grasp of the game as a whole. And I love it. I’m a huge fan of visual novels and throwing in a dash of romance is…just another nail in my coffin. I’ve been following this game for a while now, exactly how long I can’t say, but I’ve been waiting. And it was worth the wait. I’ve never played a visual novel that has allowed me the customization this game has. I found I was playing me rather than playing the who can I romance game VERY early on. Sure, the game has it’s issues, and I’ll detail the good and the bad shortly, but I highly rec the game no matter what I say below. If you’ve got a hankering for a good story, high amounts of customization, and arcade game references abound this game is for you. And never fear, I’m leaving spoilers out of my lists. (As of writing this review there were still some wrinkles in the game but the dev team seems very on top of it when it’s reported. Don’t let the fact they are there dissuade you from buying the game.) I will update this review pending further play time and any additional content that might get released.
