Bought this game tonight and immediately played though it. My friend and I are huge fans of the “We were here” games and have struggled to find similar ones after playing though the first two. We tried “Tic Tok” and a few coop platformer but nothing could really match up to “We were here”. Until now at least.
“Mark & Lara” is an amazing coop game. You don’t need the internet, just the game and you are set for about 2,5 hours of fun. That’s about how much time it took us to play though it once and we will again soon in order to experience the story out of both character’s perspectives. So for 4 bucks you have ~5 hours of playtime, which is solid imo. The story itself is amazing and really pulled us in. It really feels like investigating and we really enjoyed it. The game consists of talking to one of the two suspects, “official” documents and documentations of conversations. You have to really concentrate and look for the details and compare what the two suspects say in order to find the solution. Teamwork is necessary. The story was surprising in quite a few points and it was refreshing to not have a standart “why I killed him” plot but something more complex. We developed a good amount of theories of what could have happened and none of them turned out to be the correct one in the end.

AltspaceVR
AltspaceVR is one of my favourite VR applications, i’ve spent many hours on it watching YouTube videos with strangers, having lightsaber battles, eating marshmallows, dancing to live DJ parties and much more!
PROS :
-
A fairly big community (for a VR app) You’ll usually find people online at any time of the day.
-
Cross-platform support. You can meet people using the Gear VR, Google Daydream, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and even people without headsets playing in 2D mode.
-
People are very friendly. Even if you feel like someone is acting badly, you can simply mute or block them.

Used to be good till they removed everything the community liked. They used to have body tracking, a easily usable sdk, hand tracking, and a shared browser. So long as you agree with everything they do and have no opinion of your own you’ll be fine there, but if you express concern about something or question anything then you’ll be removed. Also, it behaves like spyware, writing out randomly titled files to places in the hard drive like C:\Windows\System32 and other such obscure places that aren’t easily user accessible for the sole purpose of tracking you after you’ve decided to uninstall it. They don’t do anything to protect user privacy. Any picture you upload doesn’t get exif data stripped out, so any image that gets uploaded that was taken with a phone will have the GPS coordinates attached and can be read by anyone. It’s trivially easy to get past their joke of security on their servers and get the e-mails and birth days of anyone with an account. When you tell them about their security holes and suggest things they can do better they deny that any security holes exist. They let known child predators go around grooming children and go so far as to threaten to ban the users trying to report them, with proof. All-in-all, if you’re looking for a platform where you can be surrounded by kids, threatened by staff, and get anything you try to do ripped off with no credit then this is the place for you.

Killer Inside Us
A 3d rendition of a popular 2d game that works quite well. Support for up to 10 players at once and the ability to wear a duck on your head as you spook those who aren’t dead yet… Sus.

Zero-based World-从零开始
first of all try to ignore most of the negative chinese reviews, nearly all of them didn´t even play longer than an hour
i mean it´s an “survival” game where you can tame monsters and stuff, how are you supposed to review something complex when you haven´t even walked 5 meter
no damn survival game is fun in the begining, the fun starts after you figured out how to use your brain
So i started to play again after few months have passed and since we are still are anticipating the english release.

Whisper Trip
I really love this game I can’t wait for the next chapters.
– Real player with 8.1 hrs in game
Whisper Trip is a fast-paced, strategic hack and slash, side scrolling, platformer game with a difficulty spike that comes on too strong in the beginning levels of the game. One thing that should be noted, this game is rough to play on mouse and keyboard. I enjoy the general concept and where the difficulty is trending but combined with wonky controls and physics it makes it a very frustrating experience.
It’s difficult for me to give this a thumbs down, I genuinely enjoyed it and found moments of fun and engaging gameplay and because for some people this may be their cup of tea or might be much more adept out of the gate. I found myself getting stuck on walls or spinning endlessly on top of enemies on a corner and other buggy elements that added to the already frustrating element of gameplay where you can expect to die a lot. Sometimes enemies will randomly fire very fast or not when they have other times. There is also no save menu, so if you start a new game accidentally you will lose all your progress, not ideal if multiple people are playing on the same machine.

Wild Planet
Explore & survive on an alien planet with your friends by building, crafting, hunting.
Be part of the community and join the effort together to discover the secrets and leave your mark in the world to stand the test of time. All while the environment changes around you.
Playable in single-player or online co-op, Wild Planet is a stylish low poly open world survival game set in a vast alien planet full of diverse biomes. In the game you’ll explore, hunt the indigenous giant alien bugs, build outposts and craft weapons and equipment as you attempt to survive and build a life for yourself in the hostile alien environment.
The game is set on an ever-changing world shaped by players' actions, Structures built by players are synchronised in the cloud and will spawn randomly in other players' games.
Chill COOP experience
To be able to share their adventures and have fun players will be able to team up to 4 players in coop.
The timestamp is synchronised with the database and universal monument & events are showing up to everyone at same time
Layers of civilizations
The planet follows cycles of destruction every 3 month (wipe).
Starting from day 1 until day 90 the world will decay and change shapes from day to day.
Each wipe brings new dungeons ,environment changes (a lake might become a desert).
Top down view - environmental narration
The top down view gives another way of storytelling and environmental design.
The low poly art style works also very well with a top down view and focus only on the most important part in the environment.
A colorful scifi atmosphere
We want to bring a chill, positive and colorful experience. Far away from the usual dark scifi worlds. A friendly, calm, joyful experience on an alien planet.
we have a unique non-linear storyline driven by dynamic events which will shape your adventure.
The players will be confronted by unpredictable hand crafted events driven which will uncover the different paths for the story and lead them through in-game narratives using the strengths of the medium without reliance on cut-scenes.

Snowstorm of despair
In this game you have to survive in a severe winter, while waiting for salvation.
Survive in a snowstorm
You and your team need to keep the flame in the fireplace. Look for firewood and fuel the flame or you will have to put it in again.
Cooperation or betrayal?
Only you can decide which side to choose. Will you work with your team or betray them when you have a chance? Maybe, you are a good orator and want to build a good trustworthy team? Or do you prefer to create tension and distrust? Anyway, it is you who makes the final decision.
Features of survival
Appearing in a cosy home with your unlucky teammates, you have to find a way out and collect wood for the fireplace to get warm (you don’t want to freeze to death, do you?). Also, you’ll come across some useful items such as food and additional clothes. But make sure that you’re not lost while searching the way to other houses.
What is hiding in the forest?
Yes, there are “human-monsters”, but also there are ghosts of darkness, which are also dangerous. You thought it would be easy, didn’t you?
