The concept of the game is easy. Clicking cards ,but earning all of the achievements and trying not to fail is the hard part. I the game you have to make choices which either let you live your life and complete that chapter, or make you lose a heart. Once you lose all of your hearts you are forced to restart the chapter.

While he afterwards took London and held a hasty coronation, he succumbed to his wounds shortly thereafter. His young son, William Rufus, succeeded him β€” an easily controlled puppet for the other Norman lords. Meanwhile in the north Earls Morcar and Edwin, with the cooperation of Stigand, Archbishop of Canterbury, propped up their own puppet king in Edgar the Γ†theling. These pretenders of the House of Godwin never relinquished their claim on the English throne, though the opportunity to press it has thus far eluded them. A tense peace descended upon the land. Now, fifty years later, the status quo is nearing its end. It's likely closer to 8 or 9 at the time of this post. Kingsim is a game of choice and resource management, it's ment to played much more then once, likely you won't reach the end on your first attempt unless your very lucky, but dieing in this game is an achievement, and you can save at any point. I find this game really fun and have played it quite a bit and I still haven't gone on all the paths that are in the game. I'm trying to avoid spoilers in this review, so it's been a bit akword writing, next I guess I'll address some things from the negative reviews that are here *– [Real player with 15.3 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198131961185)* A very fun, but very short game. A lot like Long Live the Queen but less VN style… Sort of. You can marry monster girls, or humans if you're into that sorta thing. I married a mermaid and summoned an adorable Cthulhu to spread joy and death across the world. There are very many possibilities but the game generally ends around 10 days and then you can go into an endless sort of sandbox mode where the only thing to do is conquer or make peace with your surrounding neighbors. Honestly I'd say my 3 hours was worth $10, but I really hope to see more content from the devs for this game soon. There's a lot of possibilities yet. *– [Real player with 15.3 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198010803748)* --- ![Silk Roads: Caravan Kings](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1401840/header.jpg "") ## Silk Roads: Caravan Kings Here's the deal, even if this game is not the most polished thing I have ever played, it shows potential. I mean the developer shows potential. It's kind of like Oregon Trail, if you've ever played that. The thing that impressed me the most about this game however is the developer(s). They are willing to listen to a LOT of feedback. It's very encouraging to have a developer who does this, especially in this day and age. While its not a huge grand strategy game like Hearts of Iron or an amazing role-playing game like Crusader Kings, it definitely deserves a place. *– [Real player with 6.6 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199082603950)* In any game there comes that particular crossroad point of is there enough to keep me interested or do i go back to the old faithful ones. Four hours of game time in i think i have hit that crossroads. I am now wondering if there is more to it or have i had my fill. I had this game on my wishlist, and part of my decision to purchase was based on its pricing. I like the map set up, and the game icons are simple and to the point - which is a good thing. I concur about other reviewers statements about character development - the cat, the lute and the fishing rod. However, once the initial surprise of receipt is over, the actions around them seem disconnected and grindy. To be fair, the not wanting to disappoint my customers aspect of my gaming personality means I have not ventured too far to the East, as I want to meet my contract obligations. *– [Real player with 4.3 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198050380216)* --- ![Fantasy Inn Simulator](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1589470/header.jpg "") ## Fantasy Inn Simulator *NOTE: As the game is in early access not all of these features are implemented, check the early access description for details. It looked like something I would: Be able to dip into occasionally for giggles Be able to walk away from without feeling cheated on a run session Feel I got reasonable value for my purchase without a huge commitment But I really didn't expect it would deliver that much. *– [Real player with 23.9 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198035116026)* Your choices matter in this game. Results may be unpredictable and there is no guarantee of satisfaction or success but the game itself entices you to keep coming back for more in hopes of finding all characters/deaths/endings/secrets/cards as each playthrough is unique with thousands of cards available to be shown. Actual gameplay is very simple and intuitive: swipe either left or right to make choices that impact your reign which is represented through four distinct meters at top of the screen (church, citizens, army, and wealth). Every decision that you make influences one or more meters in one way or another and it is imperative that you keep all four meters balanced so that none becomes either completely filled or empty–doing so would unquestionably bring your reign to an end. Though sometimes the results of each decision may be completely arbitrary or nonsensical such that the effect on your four meters will often leave you scratching your head and wondering what had just happened. Most of the time, you will also likely wonder what would have happened had you made a different decision. *– [Real player with 14.5 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198084628792)* --- ![The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante β€” Chapter 1&2](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1460090/header.jpg "") ## The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante β€” Chapter 1&2 Wonderful experience! Much depends on how will the plot develop further but what is already seen in the game is incredible. Advantages: + Universe. Game world is interesting. I think a lot will be uncovered by further progress of the story, but what's seen now makes me curious at least. Not sure about how much I like certain details, like miltiple lifes a person is given with (yet it's well integrated with game mechanics). Overall, the universe provides for very interesting story developments and reflection. *– [Real player with 7.6 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198069410406)* Never liked interactive fiction, this one seemed interesting though and had me hooked. One of he good thing is that the choices are very hard sometimes, and that harder choices actually cost attribute points. If you've done a series of actions that has taken up all your willpower you might only be able to helplessly watch as some terrible thing happens before your eyes since you can't muster up the will to act. This gives a new dimension to player choices which I had never thought of and is extremely interesting, especially when thinking of doing another playthrough. *– [Real player with 6.4 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197991769818)* --- ![Waiting For The Raven](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1380010/header.jpg "") ## Waiting For The Raven Well, it's still an early-access game, so don't expect it to work all the way through - but I thought it was an interesting approach, and it was nice to try something different. Douglas Adams, alas, predicted this sorry state of affairs: β€œIn other words - and this is the rock-solid principle on which the whole of the Corporation's Galaxywide success is founded - their fundamental design flaws are completely hidden by their superficial design flaws.” And if they were actually from another planet, you could overlook the developers poor grasp of human languages, as well. *– [Real player with 59.9 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198027609614)* The game still needs more polishing. The first spymater session is enough satisfying and the storytelling is quite reliable. There are a bunch of spark ideas during the first session gameplay including some right in time visual effect, some good cypher solving games and some well hidden bonus. The problems of first session could only be some buggy UI display and the strategy management part. I spent like 5 to 6 hours to totally break through the first session and to find out how naive the management part actually is. Beside the 10000 gold bonus and some other hidden bonus, I can just use some wine barrels, a 10 stealthy big boy and a 10 charming miss to burn all the houses to the ground without any real punishment. And the game is just like lying down there suffering from my giant gold dick-play. I mean, you guys did a lot of great work in designing the dialogues and storytelling and visual effects and different strategy dealing with different situations. But why the actual management part is so disappointing. The balance of some punishment events and the credit bonuses is totally a mess. That's not cool at all. *– [Real player with 7.5 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198157122300)* ---
