Treasured

Treasured

Treasured is a co-op, puzzle game that will allow you and your friends to become the ultimate adventurer and grow the biggest collection of treasures!

Your Own Museum

The building is empty and ruined, but that doesn’t stop you from making the biggest and bestest museum there is! Your museum can never be too big. Add new wings to facilitate your collection and grow, Grow, GROW!

Temples and Dungeons

Rare artifacts and precious treasures lay hidden in abandoned temples and overgrown dungeons. Their previous owners build these to keep their valuables in and trespassers out! Be wary of traps, be smart at puzzles and be agile on platforms. Only the bravest, smartest and fleet-footed will get the price!

Together With Friends

Raiding temples is fun and all … but raiding temples with friends is the best experience you can get! Help your friends with tough puzzles, get them across wide chasms and most importantly, help them with their collection!

Open Development

Treasured is currently in open development. This means that you can see whatever I am working on. You can even be a part of its development since your idea can shape the game. Every idea is evaluated to see if it can fit the game. Don’t be shy, let the ideas flow!

Early Access

Your input will be the most valuable during early access! I can’t find all of the bugs, glitches and broken features on my own, even if I try. Updates will be as bug free as I can but some will always slip through! Little beetles, flies and other animal bugs can be present in the game, don’t repost them please.

Planned Features

  • Campaigns – Themed levels to fill entire rooms. These may contain a story.

  • Online Co-op – Playing with friends online is the coolest way to play of course.

The Yawhg

The Yawhg

Initially, when I first heard of this game, I just figured, “hey, this looks kinda neat but I’m not paying $10 for it becuase I’m a lousy cheap-ass.” It looked like a cool concept to me and if it looks like a cool concept to you, then you’re perhaps in for something of a treat.

Now, when I first played it on my own, I wasn’t particularly entertained. I mean, yes, the different story paths were somewhat interesting and the various different endings were kinda cool but I wasn’t really absorbed into it. It was just something I used to make a good 45 minutes pass by one day when I was feeling bored. Then, while with some friends the other night, I decided to pull it out because we all needed a game to play and this just so happened to be multiplayer and seemed like a nice change of pace from the usual stuff we always tend to play (e.g. Genital Jousting, Jackbox Party Pack, etc.) What I didn’t expect was for us to keep playing over and over again for several more hours, as we found ourselves unusually entertained by this strange little game.

The Yawhg

The Yawhg is a quaint little game. The premise is simple, you control up to four characters in the weeks leading up to a great disaster known as The Yawhg. Nobody knows the Yawhg is coming, and you can only command your characters so far in that you pick an activity for them to complete each week.

Your characters will gain stat points for the activity you choose. For example, chopping wood increases strength. But random events will also happen, so while chopping wood you might meet a dryad, and they’ll ask you to dance. If your character has a high finesse score, you can impress the dryad with your dancing and receive a reward.

10mg: Locked In

10mg: Locked In

So it doesn’t have a pause menu. So the only way to exit the game is to complete it or force close it. Which is weird. I enjoy the 2 player nature of it. However it is only a 20 minute game. I noticed a couple spelling mistakes in the text. Nothing that makes it unreadable but the occasional missing “the”

The plot I won’t spoil but I find it kinda meh. One of the characters solutions is wildly irresponsible finance wise and money is a plot point though. There are better visual novels out there. Overall I can’t recommend this game. It is part of a 10mg bundle so don’t let it dissuade you.

Fhtagn! - Tales of the Creeping Madness

Fhtagn! - Tales of the Creeping Madness

My group of friends and I have been searching for a game to match “The Yawhg” for a couple years now, and the day of prophecy has come. I cannot recommend this game enough, as it became an instant classic for us. It’s fun to play solo, but the meat of the game is playing with 1-3 others. The core loop is simple to pick up, but difficult to master: pick a location, pick one of two known actions to gain stats, a random event (based on your location) happens which you need to resolve, then you pass or fail said event and move to the next turn. Failure is not punished so much as laughed at and, occasionally, rewarded.

Fun game! A bit hard to grasp at the beginning. I didn’t really like the offered tutorial. I prefer tutorials that unfold while playing. Furthermore it would be great, if the controller support was better. I was amazed as I used a mouse the first time and was able to get tooltips for the different stats.

Using a controller we figured it out by guessing. :)

Sadly this game isn’t much known, so there aren’t many mods written (although the ones that are out are hilarious and fun to play!)

Can’t wait for the update. We played with 3-4 players for 2 days and got most of the achievements (first time I was compelled to do that). But getting the same stories over and over makes it boring over time.

Super Retro Fighter

Super Retro Fighter

This review is not final as the game is still in Early Access (v 0.9.7 beta at the time of the review). It may change to a positive review, depending on future changes, rebalancing and additions and I do believe that it has the potential to become a very fun game.

Super Retro Fighter is an individual stages vertizontal shmup that is intentionally designed to be frustrating. So far, it only has one mode. While it’s called Arcade Mode, it lets you select an individual stage to take on. You unlock one after another and gain upgrade points based on your performance that you can spend on extra ships, bombs and shot power. These will certainly aid you but the trial and error remains.

Really fun game. It has an 80’s retro vibe to the music which is pretty awesome.

There is 3 ships to choose from and each one is unique for different guns to accomodate different playstyles.

Some stages that can get pretty frustrating but at least you can stage select to retry same stage as often as you want.

Also, there is a system to make your ship stronger , buy more lives, etc.

Controls: It feels responsive using a gamepad.

I use a Dual Shock 4 wired with USB cable and game recognizes at a PS4 controller.

Dynamic Dungeons Editor

Dynamic Dungeons Editor

For those who don’t know, this is a complete re-do of the old Dynamic Dungeon Editor which had a some what dated feel to it.

The new DDE is built with Unity and has a much better feel to it.

If you play table top role playing games on a TV, monitor, or projector setup with people physically in the room with you (not playing remotely) this is the best software currently out.

It has a small learning curve in my opinion, but honestly anyone can use the basic features: load a map (animated or static) and start playing Dungeons & Dragons or whatever RPG your heart desires.

Real player with 142.4 hrs in game

I originally purchased Dynamic Dungeons through Patreon and it has been a game changer for our DnD games. The ability to use a quick change map, pre-build the campaign, download or create custom props and then reveal it all slowly with fog of war is just amazing. Add to that the options for particle effects, motion background and immersive environmental sounds and you have a classy set up for your DnD gaming sessions.

I do all my creation on my robust PC and then copy the campaign over to the laptop for the session itself. We set up a 40" LCD TV on a pool table with Plexiglass on top to set out miniatures on. The players move their minis and I control NPCs, fog of war and other features from my laptop for them to view on the screen.
