La Dimensione Interna

La Dimensione Interna

La Dimensione Interna (The Dimension Within) is a 3D narrative adventure game where you play as a young Italian journalist, named Giorgio, living in a small town in Tuscany. The game focuses on his personal struggle as he finds himself at the center of a chain of events he doesn’t quite understand, but feels responsible for. The player will be asked to guide him through a series of situations and decisions where time, the opinion of others, and his emotions will influence how the story unfolds, and ultimately decide the destiny of the protagonist and the people around him.

Through an innovative dialogue system, the player will be able to decide when to respond or intervene in a dialogue; he will also be able to decide what to say – and how to say it. All those elements will be taken into account by the characters involved, which will respond accordingly to what they feel, believe, and are trying to achieve.

However, not all options will always be available, and this will depends on Giorgio’s Principles: the player will be able to shape up his instincts and personality, which will enable some choices and hinder others. There are ways to force Giorgio to act against his will, to a certain degree, but it will have a cost.

Giorgio’s emotions are another important aspect the player will need to deal with: fears, anxieties, neurosis will make everything more challenging for him: on a wrong day, even innocent jokes can turn into mortal offences, and some NPCs will leverage this, in the attempt to manipulate him.

Another key aspect is that Time will always be ticking – even during conversations. Every line of dialogue pronounced by either the protagonist or other characters has a time cost associated. This means that even if NPCs will follow their own routine, your actions will impact what they will decide to do next, given they still have the time to do it… just remember that time won’t wait for you either.

7Days Origins

Really amazing piece of art, do not undermine it’s simple nature. This game makes you think you know whats going on, then proceeds to shatter your expectations. It takes story telling to another level, truly taking you in a journey of wits. Every single choice you make impacts your outcome, everything you think you know, is wrong. Especially on your second play through. Don’t bother restarting because you messed up your choice.

Amazing and literally all what I’ve been waiting for! For a while I never thought Buff Studio would really adapt 7Days for PC, but here we are, enjoying this amazing game on HD on Steam.

I still plan on finishing the entire game and reliving every path on the game. The new art is AMAZING and never fails to amaze me. Gosh, I really missed seeing Kirell on the original artstyle. I can’t wait to see what more new things I can find!

I really hope with 7Days on Steam, the game grow on popularity. 7Days really deserves recognition and I would be glad to welcome new fans with open arms. Thanks for creating this awesome game Buff Studio!

More. The Eternal Utopia

To tell the truth, this feels like a fan fiction someone plastered with supersaturated colors and one image of Thomas More. All the images seem extracted from somewhere in the internet and I can’t help but squint my eyes at the color overflow. The story is a bit random, starting in Thomas Mores' study room, but some incident throws him in the present world. There are some philosophical ideas hidden in the conversations, but I felt like being put on rails. Everything passed and after half an hour of reading dialogues and monologues, I reached an end.

So first lets get this thumbs up or down out of the way. Ill give this one a thumbs up, all in all its a very solid read with alot of interesting things going on and just an absolutely amazing amount of detail and action to loose one self in. That said, its not without its shortfalls, and for me they are important short falls (though for others perhaps it wont matter much at all.)

The hardest / most annoying thing about this story is the way it constantly makes the MC second fiddle to everyone else around them. Your constantly dealing with and worrying about everyone elses problems (or choosing not to over and over again, that is an option),… not because they are really important to you in any way, but because they are part of your team. Your team captain, but honestly your more like team cheerleader. Maybe if there was some personal pay off for all the work you invest in your team members it would be worth it, but all you get out of it in the end is team cohesion and team members not leaving, which while important, so isnt worth the literal chapters worth of holding their hands.

Perhaps the meatiest CoG game I’ve played. Not my favorite - there were some things that threw me off, like the occasional change of perspective, and the romance felt tacked on - but decent, and long. Most of the games by this company take me three hours or less to finish - this took me something like eight hours for one play through. It’s good enough to satisfy, and long enough to be worth the price.

Title_Pending

Title_Pending is a story based exploration and adventure game. Become a playtester and explore the liminal spaces of a work in progress video game to unravel the mystery behind JMC Gaming Enterprises…

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hello, I’m Matthew Stanton, and I’m the lead developer at JMC Gaming Enterprises! You’ve been chosen from our list of applicants to play-test our new game (which as of now does not have a title).

Not only that, tech department said they made a breakthrough with a new device (they won’t clue me in but I hope it’s big). Apparently they’re going to ‘play-test’ their device the same day we play-test the game, which is strange, but whatever. Anyway, please contact me ASAP at this number: (061)219████, or you can reply to this email, and we will arrange a time for you.

Thank you!

Bummer… I was so hyped about this game! Playing the Demo was great. However, the actual game failed to launch properly on my pc (Windows 10). After about 2 hours spent trying to find any working solution, I’ve just requested for a refund.

UPDATE: The team of developers reacted fast to my report and fixed the problem just within a couple of days, offering the code as their apology. WHAT A FANTASTIC WORK! Great story-lines and multiple-choice dialogues done nicely, everything seems well-thought-out and made with care. Mainly, I like the idea that all protagonists can intersect each other, and also a “chirp” panel with funny “chirps” aka “twitts highlighting the game’s milestones. Some rare non-translated parts from French do not bother me since I understand a little French, but it might be an issue for those who play the English version, though. Hope, the developers will fix this asap as well… In general, I totally recommend this game, especially to someone who likes decision-based stories framed into a social context. Well done!

This game is very sweet and well written. I feel every character’s struggles are made to feel realistic and, sometimes, too real. The pacing is smooth, although it takes multiple replays to really learn the best steps to take. Sometimes it’s not very clear what you’re supposed to do in order to trigger the next event, which takes me to the biggest flaw this game has. It needs to be replayed, over and over again in order to have certain events from other characters to trigger something in the story you’re playing. I find that a tad boring and repetitive. I’ve also found a lot of moments when the dialog was suddenly in French. It’s not a big deal but it does break a bit of the immersion.

I loved it and can’t wait for more. The art style, the story about being trapped in a mmo game and the best part is choice’s matter. Just less than a hour and I’m so invested in the characters, i can’t wait for the full game. I support you all the way.
