Belle-de-Nuit
I was hooked from the start. Never have I ever had such a delightful experience reading interactive fiction, and I feel more open to trying similar games in the future. Sebastian, with his heart of gold and noble soul, stole my heart. The writing is so good. My only complaint is that I don’t feel there was enough build-up in Amaryllis' and Lou’s routes, they didn’t draw my attention to start with haha I’m happy I got to share sweet moments with Sebastian. He’s my definition of husband-material ❤

I’m sure this game could potentially be great. I only played about 10 minutes until i gave up playing it though. The sounds are very loud compared to the background music, which gives the occasional jumpscare. When you are playing or when a cutscene is rolling is impossible to tell apart, which left me very confused and i thought the game was broken several times. But what got me the most is the point-and-click aspect they were going for. It needs some work for it to be remotely enjoyable. My guy got stuck several times and when i click somewhere he will just stop at any obstacle in the way, leaving me to guide every single step to get where i want. Occasionally he’s out of the camera angle and i have no idea where i am or where im going. Too wonky, wouldnt recommend at this stage, will refund it.

New Meaning
So I played this because I’ve been in a weird move lately. I suppose technically it wasn’t a great idea to play considering the mood but I figured that it would help because I would be able to show the character (and initially myself) that there are things worthwhile still.
Now.
spoiler?
It seems you can’t save Luke. Even when I say that he’s feeling okay it goes to “are you suuurrreeee?” and then the ‘yes’ option vanishes. This is not the right way to go about this type of game. If we’re supposed to have the ability of choice to drive the story then we need to be able to make that choice instead of the choice being made for us.

I would recommend this game to people with Family or friends who are going though the themes of this game.
Spoilers
The Game it self I liked the story and the message It was trying to say,
! But the way it was Pro-trade wasn’t Great. I know the One Ending is being the Mean negative so far in most of the reviews but I feel the fact Having your choices Matter should have a impact, not having a choice is good way to Show Depression, but I feel that the things that luke would Say too Other Characters should Have Proved His Death. Like he says Something off to his friends or to his Mother and that One of them would show up to stop him. I feel That would be a good way to show Someone in need of help, but also having a good Support System can help you.

Choices That Matter: And The Sun Went Out
Incredible, a definite must play if you enjoy CYOA books and games. While not literally every choice you make is going to change the course of the narrative, they hel immerse the player into the main character’s role, this paired with the intresting story and characters, and the intriguing mysteries make for an amazing experience if you like this kind of game

I’m just starting arc 5 i think and wow has it been a cool ride so far. i googled it and apparently on any given play through you only read 150,000 of a total 600,000 words which leads me to believe that these choices that seem like they really change whats going on, really do. Which also inspires anxiety but hey that’s all in the fun of making serious choices. so far solid 8/10 8.5 because canada eh

Ghost or Trick
EDIT: So, i have now played up to where i gotten last time with this new English translation,
it has definitely improved. I am able to follow the sentences now but there are still a few mistakes here and there, only now i can say that it’s playable with English translations even though there are still mistakes :)
like: “Who is a Detective” ( who is the detective) it made me slightly chuckle
i will look forwards to playing this whole game now

I just started playing this game, i purchased it because i saw it was on sale and had JUST released, not to mention the cover art looked amazing~! speaking of art, i love all the illustrations and characters I’ve seen so far. The painting style really fits with the atmosphere of the rooms and backgrounds around the villa. And Arthur’s design is just . awesome!!! i’m enjoying it a lot. The only downside is the English translation needs some tweaking but no problem it just came out after all xD i hope in future updates it improves~! :D

[Story]
Our story begins with Minato arriving in the small town of Kagami, an exceptionally ordinary sort of place in a sleepy suburb of Tokyo.
But there’s more to this simple trip than meets the eye. Minato has a secret objective: he intends to find his missing father, who is supposedly living somewhere in the area.
Our young sleuth Minato wastes no time getting started, and soon finds a puzzling clue to his father’s whereabouts. A mysterious notebook left for him with the portentous title “The Seven Mysteries.”
With this notebook as his guide, Minato sets out on a long and difficult journey, not through space, but through time. For his destination is none other than 33 years in the past—the day his father and mother first met!
Wraiths of SENTINEL
A very solid CoG - better than most. I really only have two criticisms for the story:
1. The romance wasn’t handled that well in my opinion. It’s very abrupt, especially with the Sorcerer, and with the limited character exploration of the romance optinos it feels empty.
2. I didn’t like the inclusion of the non-Wraith entities. Magicians, demons, etc. To me it makes the whole thing feel smaller. I get that the author is building a shared universe with MetaHuman Inc. (which is a good game), but… meh

I liked MC’s base wraith superpower, I think it was unique and cool. I don’t think it counts as spoilers since you’re introduced to this power at the very beginning of the game: you can walk through walls and other solid stuff (including people) like a ghost, and you are invisible to the human eyes which makes you the perfect spy. It’s cool to see that MC wonders about the extents of this superpower, like can you somehow pass through earth and so on.
There are a number of major choices (at least it looks like it) and different endings (I’ve explored 2 endings, at least). I felt like most of the choices I’ve made had some effect at later stages of the game which is good.

Afterlife
Good quality video.
Good acting.
Good story
No hints for interaction… But even if it makes sens to be like that I think this “hurts” the game.
