When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiralling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand… my working hand… my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

Sex Robot Road Trip: Highway to Harrisburg
This game’s writing is hilarious, and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Excellent stuff for showing your friends out-of-context screenshots (although context doesn’t make it any less ridiculous). I would really love to study the writer’s brain to see how they came up with some of those gags. And I hope Prince Harry doesn’t sue them for defamation.
If you’ve scrolled this far, gorgeous graphics probably aren’t that important to you, so I won’t go into much detail about that here. The simple style is very expressive and enhances some of the visual gags, so I’d say it’s not too bad once you get used to it.

The Hayseed Knight
If there was a game that perfectly captured modern day degenerate humor it is this game. Our unfortunate hayseed knight is basically a walking talking cursed innuendo. This game actually almost feels like an anime in that way.
I really liked this game. I’m starting to grow an appreciation for the simple game design of line less painted backgrounds and simple line drawn ‘cut scenes.’ You can get a lot of good screenshots literally all over the place.
The music is great. I love situation specific music that knows how to change with whats happening. I could actually see myself buying the OSP if I could.

The Hayseed Knight is a lovingly crafted Visual Novel which, while light on gameplay, features incredibly well-written dialogue and narration, memorable and sometimes surprisingly complex characters as well as art assets and voice acting rivalling even big-budget productions in terms of quality. But I know that story is what’s most important to the Visual Novel crowd, so let me tell you this: The Hayseed Knight made me laugh, it made me think, it made me feel butterflies in my stomach and in the end,
! it even broke my heart.

A Night In Kyosaka
This animated visual novel is about a young 10-year-old who wanders into a world ruled by dogs, cats, warlocks, and spirits in search of their missing puppy. Your job is to navigate through this mysterious world, looking for the lost pup, so that you both can venture back home together.

Kingdom: The Far Reaches
very decent despite the fact that is is an old game. A very rich storyline too. It’s a shame that the manual is not included. Also there does not seem to be the sequal, Kingdom Shadoan. Hopefully, it could be released here

Jason Shiga’s amazing comic in digital form. While the book is still my preferred method of navigating, I’m really glad that more people are able to experience this for the first time. If you liked this, be sure to check out his other work that’s available online for free, the math mystery thriller Fleep and his sprawling epic Demon, they’re both worth your time.

In Flames
In Flames is a 2D adventure with lots of puzzles and an immersive storyline. It is set in the 80s rural America with all the features you’d expect – a spooky town, characters with well-developed back stories, and a great mystery to solve. Finn Clayton finds himself chained to a tree in the middle of a crisis, and is about to find out what is going on.
Clarence Goes to the F&#%ING Store
This game was amazing, the humor was fantastic and I really enjoyed the art style. If you’re looking for something quick I would recommend you try this out. 10/10

I’ve only played through 2 endings so far, but I had to come here to say this is amazing. Well worth the tiny price. When’s the last time a game made you laugh out loud in an empty apartment? It’s simple, a visual novel, not “challenging” at all, but if you enjoy dark humor you’ll have a good time.
