HRO: Adventures of a Humanoid Resources Officer
HRO: Adventures of a Humanoid Resources Officer is a puzzle-driven visual novel set in a retro-futuristic sci-fi universe. You play the underappreciated Humanoid Resources Officer aboard the Endeavor — a military spaceship with more than its fair share of crew rivalries, office politics, and erratic decision-makers. When the Endeavor stumbles into universe-shaking trouble, can you harness the power of the bureaucracy to rein in your crew’s worst impulses and survive to the next episode?
As disaster looms, you – the HRO – interact with key characters to investigate the crisis, identify possible responses and implement your preferred paper-pusher solution. Will your conversation with the criminally-insane physicist who has seized control of the ship inspire you to fake your own resignation so you can infiltrate his cult? Or, when surrounded by bloodthirsty Kirmulak warships, will you choose to transmit the stolen enemy command codes to disable their vessels and allow the Endeavor to escape? Save the day! Be the hero! The levers of administrative power – and the consequences of using them – are yours…
Game features include:
• Branching storylines shaped by player choices
• UI puzzles offer multiple paths through the story
• Unlockable mini-episodes and characters
• Vividly imagined retro sci-fi universe
• Original, adaptive musical soundtrack
• Thousands of choices make HRO eminently replayable
Plan B from Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey
A funny, replayable and “Zork-esque” Choose-Your-Own-Adventure game that compensate the shortness of a single run by offering lots of different choices that lead to extremely diverging paths and endings.

Remember When
This game was wholesome, sweet, and kind of surprised me. I was looking for a quick game to waste my time, and this was a good way to spend said time, I may come back and play it again sometime if I remember. Its worth your time, so ye, play it!

After a while, the Developer updated the Game and now it don’t stuck again. I played the Game and i am absolutly suprised. It is a short little story about a man and his memories. The ending hit me hard and remebered me to say “I love you” to my wife everytime we talk or spend time together…
Game is free… give it a try. You play though story in about 1 hour. :)

The Wednesday
I can’t believe that the game cost me $15. You can enjoy a lot lot better games with way cheaper price. Do not buy it if you cherish your money. I purchase this only because I wanted to find out why many people blame this game so much. I didn’t want to criticize this game before I actually play it to the end. Now I can, so here I start.
Story was fair enough, but not great. Personally I thought the story was ok. It’s probably the only positive part of this game, but there is little to spoil so I don’t understand why they asked for not streaming the later chapters. The puzzles during the game were too easy so it’s not even worth mentioning.

🧠 OUT OF THE BOX
It really is a shame that this game doesn’t seem to be getting much attention. I think it is quite a hidden gem.
I really like the art style. All the character sprites just ooze personality. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the idle animations in some cutscenes look a bit exaggerated, with some characters constantly headbanging for no reason. Less animation would have been more here. But I am willing to overlook that minor flaw because I just enjoy the style so much. Also, don’t let the cutesy look fool you. There are some really brutal scenes in this game.

It’s a good game where you play a bouncer hired by your maffia boss after being released from prison and no one else will give you a job, while all the while trying to stay on the straight and narrow and keep your bills paid. You have to check people coming into the night club for simple stuff to start with (dress code, ID, correct tickets, not under age, not drunk etc) but as things go along, you start getting extra requests and criteria to meet.
There’s a basic storyline. It doesn’t have many ways it can significantly branch from the linear storyline (so far the majority I tried don’t make a lot of difference or cause you to hit dead ends (sometimes literally.) So unless you enjoy the ticket checking side of things, replayability is limited. Checking tickets is fun and challenging for the first round, but does have threshold where it starts to lose its shine. (I kind of wish it was mixed up a bit with more variation.)

1f y0u’re a gh0st ca11 me here! 幽铃热线
I think this game’s charming in its way. It has quite a unique gameplay that I think it’s worth a try.
Gameplay is somewhat demanding. It’s kinda like playing papers please, but have to check about 2-4 different documents all at once and it is up to the players to make a split judgement where to send where.
The game is quite difficult, but I think anyone can get used to the game over time.
Story is short? I think? I haven’t seen all the endings (cuz the game’s hard..), but in terms of building an overall environment and the characters were interesting enough for what this game is worth.

i really wanted to like the game but the story sucks there is only one song that is kinda annoying the gameplay is innovating but at the end it breaks and looses meaning

Appointment With FEAR
An on-screen production of one of Steve Jackson’s Fighting Fantasy gamebooks.
A radical change of direction from the usual sword&sorcery style games set in the world of Allansia, this one is a superhero-comic inspired story set in Titan City. You are a superhero, with a choice of one of four special powers, who must find the time and place of the next meeting of F.E.A.R., an organisation intent on world domination, and destroy it’s maniac cyborg leader Vladimir Utoshski.
You have a choice of costume style and colour with the superhero cliche that your character looks almost identical in costume and in street clothes haha….

The game is text based adventure where you choose your own path that determines the kind of ending you’ll get. The main antagonist in this game is called F.E.A.R. (the Federation of European American Rebels) led by Vladimir Utoshiki a.k.a. “Titanium Cyborg”. The other leaders of the evil organization, who are set on conquering the world, are having a meeting and it is up to you to stop them. You have three (3) short days to search for clues to discover the exact place and time it’s gonna happen.
