New Meaning
So I played this because I’ve been in a weird move lately. I suppose technically it wasn’t a great idea to play considering the mood but I figured that it would help because I would be able to show the character (and initially myself) that there are things worthwhile still.
Now.
spoiler?
It seems you can’t save Luke. Even when I say that he’s feeling okay it goes to “are you suuurrreeee?” and then the ‘yes’ option vanishes. This is not the right way to go about this type of game. If we’re supposed to have the ability of choice to drive the story then we need to be able to make that choice instead of the choice being made for us.

I would recommend this game to people with Family or friends who are going though the themes of this game.
Spoilers
The Game it self I liked the story and the message It was trying to say,
! But the way it was Pro-trade wasn’t Great. I know the One Ending is being the Mean negative so far in most of the reviews but I feel the fact Having your choices Matter should have a impact, not having a choice is good way to Show Depression, but I feel that the things that luke would Say too Other Characters should Have Proved His Death. Like he says Something off to his friends or to his Mother and that One of them would show up to stop him. I feel That would be a good way to show Someone in need of help, but also having a good Support System can help you.

Milo’s Quest
Really fun game! little 2D pixel graphycs that made me think of Zelda and the first pokemon games. Challenging to remember the path without a map to guide you, so there was a bit of back and forth, but overall very cute and fun game! Puzzle are pretty easy I’ll admit, but some will make you think a bit about your next move. completed the game at 102% apparently XD For the price, it’s a fun game to try!

Cute zelda like RPG with casual difficulty. Works very well with a controller. The sokoban puzzles are quite easy and the game can be completed in 2-3 hours. The game could have used a reset puzzle button or something because the movement of boxes is janky at times and leaving the room and re-entering it to reset the puzzle also respawns the enemy units in the room that you have to kill again before you can start the puzzle again.

Mothmen 1966
Mothmen 1966 is set during the Leonid meteor shower of ‘66.
You are Lee, a college student obsessed with the American Civil War. Someone at school told you about Holt’s gas station outside town, just the spot to watch the upcoming meteor shower for a perfect date with your girlfriend. But at Holt’s you’ll meet Lou Hill, a writer investigating the link between these meteor storms and sightings of human-size winged creatures with red, glowing eyes. It seems to Lou that whenever these ‘mothmen’ are spotted, bad things happen…
Created by novelist Nico Saraintaris and artist Fernando Martinez Ruppel, ‘Pixel Pulps’ are a fusion of exceptional writing and stunning illustration, inspired by mid-20th century pulp fiction and 80s home computer graphics. Mothmen 1966 is the first of three Pixel Pulps coming in 2022.

-
Evocative illustrations fuel your immersion in the story
-
Accessible, ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ style gameplay, with life and death consequences and many mysteries to unravel

one night, hot springs
Mostly spoiler-free summary: one night, hot springs is a short and cute visual novel about a girl named Haru, her friend Manami, and Manami’s friend Erika. Manami invites the girls to the hot springs for her birthday, but Haru is worried that she might make others uncomfortable since she’s transgender.
Characters
Haru is a kind girl who doesn’t want to trouble anyone. Because of this, she tends to keep her emotions to herself and avoid potentially meeting strangers. The game offers various choices and has a hidden “energy” meter (referred to as “hint hearts” in the options, and can be made visible), which will decide what Haru does in difficult decisions.

This is the most heartwarming game I’ve played to this date. The story is about a trans girl who is invited by her best friend to a hot spring. This visual novel tells about the topic of identity, and who you truly believe you are inside. Haruto is legally a male (Haru being her nickname from childhood), but never felt as if she was one. She was forced by her elementary and junior high schools to identify and dress as a male. Going to the hot springs is completely different than her previous experiences with going out. The staff are very nice and understand her situation, and her best friend along with another friend are supportive of her. The game in total only has 7 endings; one being bad. For a free game, it offers a lot. The story is relatable to many people, and the endings are one-to-one with how many people react to similar situations. Not only that, the drawing style and colors are a really nice aesthetic. If I could showcase this as my favorite game on my steam profile, I would. I highly suggest giving this game a shot.

4 Alice Magical Autistic Girls
4 Alice Magical Autistic Girls is a visual novel that accomplishes what it sets out to do: tell an interesting, fantastical and magical story while allowing the player to see and understand the world through the eyes of a teenage girl with autism. By doing this game manages to create awareness of autism educating the player through the gameplay experience while still entertaining. The main character portrayal breaks the mold of the typical video game protagonist by giving us a representation of a functionally diverse individual.

I found this to be a very short but entertaining and memorable game.
If you like Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, slice-of-life, horror and the supernatural, then this is the game for you.
What sold me on this game was the fact that it’s about autistic girls and was written by an autistic woman.
As a fellow autie, it was really nice to see some good autistic representation since it’s not something that I get to see very often because autistic people are so underrepresented in media overall.
Please support autistic creators and our works, whether it be through financial assistance, word-of-mouth or both!

A YEAR OF SPRINGS
there was a part on how manami was saying how girls shouldn’t get horny or talk about sex because it’s unfeminine like erika said…
as a pre-everything (even clothes) trans girl with a pretty above-average sex drive, sometimes i wonder if i’m supposed to…feel like that all the time v.v
maybe it’s just the…male hormone in me? my instinct as a biological man?
would i be like this if i were a cis girl? would i be happier if i could just accept my agab?
cause for all intent and purpose i’m really just a guy who told themselves they were a girl one day…

I kinda walked into A Year of Springs expecting just a good nice time involving some much desired representation.
What I actually got was a beautifully subtle story that delves into trans issues few other games do, while sparing some time to
! give some wonderful representation to the ace/aro community as a character realises they are ace/aro. I cried a good few times, seeing Haru’s situations, her reactions and general personality in myself as someone who identifies as a trans woman. There were so many heart-breaking moments for me that I don’t want to spoil, yet it was warming to see a game address issues that either I currently go through or see myself experiencing in the years to come.

Border of her Heart
Played Character Route Order: Stephen ◈ Angmar ◈ Yggraine ◈ Helewisa ◈ Tiphania
The story of Border of her Heart is not engrossing enough to cover up neither how flat the characters are nor how poorly the romance paths and storytelling are executed. The English voice-over is decent, it’s probably the biggest highlight of this game. Although it’s nothing out of the ordinary by any means and certainly no reason to play this despite its flaws and issues.
There are several romance paths, including one route with a male, but it’s seriously not worth it since this Visual Novel provides no redeemable qualities whatsoever. The plot is utterly dull, generic, and predictable, the romance paths don’t differ even slightly from that. It’s far below average even for the low price tag, which makes it hardly interesting for those that appreciate a good read.

Art: 7/10 (Quite good considering the asking price)
Grammar: 7/10 (Not over the top but very much comprehensive)
Length: 8/10 (Very short, but fair given the asking price)
VA: 6/10 (Some of the voices come off as awkward. But across the board it’s pleasant)'
Routes: 8/10 (Short and sweet, but rather good. Was quite surprised by it)
Waifu: 9,000/10 (Healer is bae)
Final Verdict: Nice and short, given the price, is a good VN that is comprehensive and enjoyable. Would recommend to those who just want to enjoy a very simple VN.
