It’s a great game,i really love the characters and the music (oh man i can just let the game run in the background to listen to the menu music and chill out),the story is very interesting if i say so myself, also the gameplay was a bit confusing for me at the start but after learning it,it’s very fun,i’m looking forward to the full release.

It has a lot of promise.
I talked to the developer in the forums, and they’re actively working on making improvements according to their posts albeit I don’t know how steady they are or how consistent they are at actually updating the game and correcting underlying flaws, of which there are many.
It’s a lot like Factorio, but if it was simplified, put into a Visual Novel game that has surprisingly good writing, and given a vaguely predictable “economy” built around the war for shits and giggles.

Above the Fold
Full Disclosure- I got my key at no cost, from the developer, to playtest the game, from Alpha 4 on.
This in no way affects my review of the game. If it sucked, I would be brutally honest about it. I call then like I see them.
Okay, that said, up there ^^^…
I don’t really tend to enjoy manangement sim games, I usually find them too simple, shallow, or just plain uninteresting.
This game is different. It may be because I have been inside, watching it evolve (and will continue to do so through Early Access, and beyond…), but this game has depth. The subject matter, a paper print newspaper from the 1980’s- (when I was a teen and young adult) is very relatable for me. The game is still in development, but it already very rich with details that hold your interest, tension that makes you hustle and make snap decisions, humor that pops up and relieves some of the tension, in a very silly way, and more challenge than I expected. I like challenge.

Its very early and developed by one person with a budget smaller then my allowance during all 4 years of high school combined. That probably isn’t true though.
Anyway, this game is a gem, and will be a gem in the future.
Yes, turn your music off asap or adjust using your systems audio mixer, that is a bit of feedback that can be acted on.
At the core this game is charming, you have a deadline you need to meet, an owner that can get angry with you, but also praise you. I imagine it is as similar to managing a news paper in the late 90’s was, and a news website today is. This is after all a simulation.

Corpse Mansion
Synopsis
Corpse Mansion is an open-world action horror survival game where decisions play an important role in the outcome of the story. Cole Woods embarks on a mission to help his friend find her lost father, while trying to investigate an infectious disease that turns people into flesh-eating corpses.
You choose your own fate, watch the city plunge into complete chaos or build a unique economy to combat the virus. Use over 30+ weapons to lay waste to your enemies. Customize your guns with parts at a workbench to create the ultimate zombie killing weapon.
Current Features
-
Fully interactable environment : Use weapons that have the “Tool” trait to do more than just attack or use a rope to climb up a ledge. Search everything from vehicles to houses, drawers, boxes, cupboards, fridges, stoves, shelves and much more.
-
Impressive arsenal of weapons to obtain. Light enemies on fire with a flamethrower or blow them to pieces with an RPG, you choose how you want to fight this epidemic.
-
Crisp and accurate sound effects for everything in the game. For example, when you move, store, sell or drop an item, it plays its own unique corresponding sound effect.
-
Decisions impact the flow of the story and ultimately the ending too. Save the citizens from their demise to gain access to more resources. You can keep track of who you have managed to save on your portable data system. (must have unlocked data in main menu by obtaining the HPD Scanner)
-
Slot based limited inventory system for you to manage, with containers for you to store your rare items in (must own a safe house for storage containers).
-
Realistic Shops : Shop owners don’t have unlimited stock; items Sold to them will remain in that person’s shop stock for sale indefinitely until it’s sold again. Shop owners will also get a new stock or re-stock of items for sale as the story expands. Doing missions for them can also change what they sell.
-
Survival system where players have to manage Cole’s Hunger, Thirst and Rest. You can obtain food and water from various sources in the game. Players will also be required to find a bed to sleep in to restore their Rest stat or risk passing out from exhaustion.
-
Become your own Gunsmith! You’ll need a special item called a “Blueprint” first which teaches you how to repair and attach gun parts to a particular weapon. Then you can attach gun parts at any Gunsmithing Workbench to upgrade a weapon’s traits. Such as but not limited to Headshot Chance, Capacity, Damage, Durability, Knockback, Stun, ect.
-
Complex and unique dialogue selection system. Players will be able to know which things they have already said to an NPC to avoid unnecessary repeated dialogue (faded out grey). When options have a permanent effect on the game they will be highlighted in red to indicate this to the player. The same is true for green but in addition always satisfies the conditions of something.
-
You can also repair a weapons durability but beware of it costing more material (Aluminum) to repair the better your gun’s upgrades are.
-
Finally, you can create ammunition with gunpowder at a Gunsmith Workbench once you have learned the associated blueprint.
Planned Features
-
With enough support we can consider adding weather to the game world based on what time of year it is. So in the winter the streets of Hell City would be covered in snow ect.
-
Make the shops even more dynamic and change the Sale/Sell price of weapons based on their current upgrades attached. Right now weapons cannot be sold back to vendors because of their complexity. Parts can be sold normally.
-
A completely different mode of gameplay where you would select challenges to complete. More stages and challenges would get unlocked as you progressed through the games story mode.
-
A massive city to explore and loot items from. Suburbs, slums and downtown areas should all be covered.
Having trouble with the game?
If you are have any issues with proceeding through the story, you can contact support@corpsemansion.com or post in the community here - https://steamcommunity.com/app/1462190/discussions/ where someone will be able to assist you (most likely the same day even). While we strive to fix all bugs and make sure everything is perfect, we are still in Early Access so please report it to us and we’ll do our best to fix it. Thank you for your understanding. We are constantly adding more content to the game so we appreciate your patience here.

Be the Ruler: Britannia
Gameplay
In this game, it’s up to you to create your own story. Be the Ruler is an RPG in which the player takes on the role of a king and leads his dynasty through the ages. Every decision has its implications in the living world. Similar events can have dramatically different consequences. What kind of king you are determines what you can do in the world. Whether you prefer diplomacy, intrigue, conquest - it’s up to you.
Living World
To make Be the Ruler a true Choose-Your-Own-Adventure game, we built a living world where events happen regardless of your decisions. Your actions can influence them - often in unexpected ways. The elements of a living world consist of:
-
Randomly created nobles and other NPCs before the start of each game, with different attributes affecting their actions. Noblemen will marry, build their dynasties, and have their own goals. How you respond to them (or not) will determine the consequences of your actions.
-
Other kings have their own policies - conquests, alliances, state expansion.
-
You have unique relationships with each character in the game. These relationships are affected by your history, as well as how you relate to a particular group (i.e. nobility, priesthood, family).
-
If you choose to take action, the consequences will be felt in every aspect of the game - your resources, your relationships, the consequences of your decisions, the options available to you.
You, as king and as dynasty - create your own history in the medieval era.
Features
-
Start a family and create a dynasty - raise your descendants. Beware of your siblings, who are waiting to trip you up. Beware of romance.
-
Manage an early medieval kingdom based on personal relationships with your vassals. Solve their problems, judge them, punish them. Build relationships based on trust or power.
-
Create alliances, conquer provinces.
World
Welcome to the world of early medieval England. Many small kingdoms, which were formed on the ruins of the Roman Empire and the migration of the Saxons to Britain. You will be the king of one of them - Wessex. There are many castles to visit and conquer, towns which will pay you tributes. Mines that give you currency and farms that supply you with grain.
The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame
This LEGO game is not like the others. Whether this change is for the better, it is hard to say as there are certainly pros and cons to each style of game. This installment focuses more on open-world aspects rather than the episodic nature that its predecessors provided. Players are sent to various different planets (levels) to collect master bricks that progress the narrative forward with the help of a number of different tools to solve each planets puzzles (paint wand, grapple gun, power fists, etc). Players must also use build-ables (trampolines, sprinklers, generators, etc.) to traverse the planets using bricks the player collects from destroying the environment. This provides players with a greater sense of control when deciding where to go next and how to tackle problems. However, it still falls into the same trap as previous games in that certain puzzles can only be solved by progress further in the story and ultimately completing it. This means that players must still redo every level over again if they want to achieve that 100% goal. Not that surprising given the rest of the LEGO games but annoying none the less. Additionally, the story relates vaguely to that of the movie it is based off of. It uses the same characters, but fails to follow the narrative established in the film even changing core plot points to fit the games design. This led to a significant disconnect between gameplay elements and the overall story-arc. In the end, I did 100% this LEGO game, as I always do, and I did enjoy it more than the aging gameplay mechanics that previous installments have provided; however, this style of LEGO game needs a little more work before I will be fully on-board with it.

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is not a typical Lego Game, its more like, when Lego Worlds was in EA (Early Access) but with The LEGO Movie 2 elements, like Characters, Worlds and Buildlings.
Controlls are better and this time also keyboard friendly. It works a bit like in Lego Worlds but simpler.
You have a lot of Quests to do, they are very simple so that even smaller childs could do it. With every Quest you complete you can get prints for buildings, a lila stone (on other Lego Games they where golden or red) or some items that need a shop to open it. (bad tongues would say “a few typs of loot boxes” but you cant buy them with real money ^^). The last reward can also be found with golden chests you find by explore the map.

Fireworks Mania - An Explosive Simulator
Look, any sandbox game that lets me light off fireworks in a church is going to attract my attention.
UPDATE : 40 hour opinion : Simply one of the best sandbox games on the market. Free content, a really, REALLY cool dev who I have had the pleasure to interact with a couple of times on social media, and endless possibilities for the future.
And finally, A SAVE FEATURE.
The dev is smart. If you thought of an improvement, he’s prolly already thought of it first.
And lastly, give it up for the visual effects and performance. I own a couple more fireworks

Really nice game. Played it in the early stages, the game has grown and finally released. I was searching a few years ago for this game. Saw a fireworks game of weco, didnt liked it really. I saw this game and I was sold. The game developer Laumania was very friendly to me and I was happy to be a moderator in his discord server. While the game was in early stages I was communicating with the other Dutch mods. I played among us with them and the community was fun. I enjoyed most of the stream of Laumania and really liked his dev logs. Finally this game has been released. While I was playing the demo, it was like It was real. It was incredible. Now you can even blow up houses and make big projects. I am proud of Laumania and the other people that helped him to build this beautiful game. Trust me, it is worth it.

House Party
Until this patch I would have 10000% recommended this game to everyone. Now due to Steam policy they are having to censor all chars based on real people. To myself that is game breaking and going forward all the new content also featuring real people will also be censored.. The Devs have said tough crap go buy the game again on another platform. Unacceptable response. Uninstalled and will not be supporting any longer.

A fun fucking game (not ment ass fuckinggame, just good game). Spent a lot of time picking up all kinds of strange items and harrasing every individual guest at the party. 8/10, soly worth playing just because Patric is in the game.

World of Contraptions
The game has so much more potential. The art style of the components would certainly lend itself to a change of scenery, I was disappointed at the constant white and grey levels and white overcast sky.
In terms of building, its very difficult to make smaller devices as the snapping tools (while quite effective) were incredibly limiting. I wouldn’t mention it if it were helping with physics bugs, but it certainly does not. I can’t count how many times an otherwise very simple machine just floated away due to a clipping issue.
– Real player with 31.4 hrs in game
if you’ve ever played and enjoyed ( i think it was an old 2d flash game ) called Fantastic contraption , well this is it but in 3D with so so much more.
a very polished physics builder to solve puzzles
the tutorial is just enough to get you started, without making it a cakewalk, letting you discover new pieces for yourself.
game runs very smooth no glitches discovered so far
if you like physics games just buy it
