The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
To be honest I heard bad things about this game a lot but to be fair I actually prefer it over House of Ashes.
Good things.
-I really liked how it based it off a real ww2 boat and how it really followed the myth of the Ourang Medan and how 22 crew mates died with no explanation to this day. (search up the name of the boat for more details)
-Setting, I enjoyed the idea of being isolated from land and the feeling of not being able to get out of this trapped nightmare.
-I know a lot people didn’t like the idea of the monsters being in their heads but I did as it was something quite different from being killed by monsters or humans.

Following the release of House of Ashes one can observe a steady increase in quality with each game starting with Man of Medan. While Little Hope and House of Ashes progressively improve the series' mechanics, gameplay, and storytelling, Man of Medan still stands as a fun time to share with friends. I love this game, and even if it could stand to be updated by Supermassive to compete with its sister games, it’s a successfully lays the groundworks and dives into the world the Dark Pictures Anthology seeks to build with each story.

Killer Inside Us
A 3d rendition of a popular 2d game that works quite well. Support for up to 10 players at once and the ability to wear a duck on your head as you spook those who aren’t dead yet… Sus.

Lunch Lady
Ok, where to start :D
First of all, I’m a very very very scary person.
But shortly after release I found this game for a few Euro and asked my friends if they would play this game.
Well, I haven’t thought about to receive so many positive answers.
So in the end, I created my own death ._.
LOL, no not really, but I mean, I played it now for 24 hours in total, went through a lot of updates and sometimes I just wanted to delete the game, but in the end, it is one of the most played games this year.

Dead In The Tropics
Outlive your friends in this social multiplayer elimination game. Once a day, a player must be sacrificed so the others can live. What lengths will you go to to be the last remaining?
The group must decide who is the next to be eliminated. How could you make that impossible choice? You only see one option. At night you vote.
Work together during the day, turn against each other at night. Will you be defeated by the starvation, the trials of the island, or the complicated island politics?
Key features:
-
Deep, strategic, turn-based gameplay. Simple & easy-to-learn mechanics that cause nuanced, social consequences.
-
Online multiplayer. Betray real-world friends or strangers on the internet.
-
A game with voting at it’s core. Do you lie & scheme, or fly under-the-radar? How you play is up to you.
-
Balance your individual goals with the survival of the group. Eating more will give you a survival advantage, but it will not make your popular.
-
Randomly generated events and tools, along with the unique turn-order system, make every playthrough different. The decisions you make early will determine how the week plays out.
-
The AI of the island will decide your circumstances. Those met with good luck may find themselves targeted by others, while the unfortunate may be ignored as unthreatening. Adapt your strategy to the hand you’ve been dealt.
-
Those eliminated will still have a role to play on the final day if you choose to stick around. Short sessions mean it won’t be long until you’re back in the action!

Having played this game for nearly 1000 hours now, here’s what I can say.
The good :
-
An incredible amount of content. Even if you’re not planning to subscribe, you still get access to 8 class stories, who take anywhere from 15 to 100 hours each depending on how fast you go through them and if you do side missions. Then there’s the usual MMORPG content, 4 man dungeons (called flashpoints), 16 man raids (operations) and world bosses all with different difficulty levels.
-
Quality of writing / storytelling. The story in this game is amazing and stands far above any other MMO I’ve played. It’s essentially high quality Bioware single player writing, but in an MMO. Some class stories stand out, like the Bond-esque Agent story, or the classic overpowered sith story of the warrior. Whoever you are, you’ll find a story that suits your style.

Here are 5 reasons why it is worth playing SWTOR in 2021!
1. Story Content
The best story content in the game are the 8 class stories from the original vanilla content. There is nothing like putting yourself in the shoes of a Sith or a Jedi or an Imperial Agent or a Smuggler.
If you haven’t played some of them or haven’t played them with a different gender or dark/light side combination or you haven’t tried to romance a particular companion, you should try (you can even now skip planetary arcs, as levels are irrelevant in single player content)

✖ Boring, clumsy gameplay.
✖ Terrible terrible menu music.
✖ The same handful of lines of commentary over and over and over again.
✖ Pointless grinding.
✖ Dead multiplayer.

BAO
As a Tanzanian local who grew up playing this game I am glad that the game now has a good and accurate representation on Steam. The game has a lot more strategic options and variations than most mancala like games.

Like chess, this game requires that the players think a few steps ahead; however, while chess has a few set of rules and a few kinds of pieces, Bao has only one kind of piece and a complex system of rules to govern them. In chess, you take time to set up your pieces. In Bao, you work through two different phases of the game, and watch your work chain react (the flow to this is hard to explain, but satisfying to experience). Those looking for a popular, simple game may find this hard to warm up to (that said, this game does come with a tutorial, and will highlight legal possible moves). Those looking for a fresh mental exercise, or perhaps wanting to learn about other cultures may be interested to give this a shot.
