STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II - The Sith Lords™
Good game but there’s a game breaking bug that I cannot find a fix for. I Tried around 6 different fixes to no avail. After combat, around 80% of the time, the game will not allow the player to move. You are stuck unless you save and then load. If it happened 20% instead of 80% it wouldn’t be a problem, but as it stands, at times it’s every 20 seconds you have to spend another 20 seconds to restart.

The Henry Stickmin Collection
EPIC. SERIOUSLY. My review is quite late, but if your wondering to buy this, buy it. The storyline at the end all connects and just clicks, it’s got amazing graphics that it can even run on a windows 10 without any problems. The only problem i see with this is that.. its quite short. I complete this game almost in 3 days and i already have 80 achievements. I still enjoyed playing through this game, its really amazing but sad, because this is going to be the last henry stickmin game. I find this also really useful for showcases because its got all the games in one, so you dont have to go onto newgrounds or something like that to find the actual games, they are all there. And the amounts of bios is INSANE. I cannot collect all of them in completing the mission and i only have like 208. I definately recommend this to any youtubers out there, this game is still popular and might give your channel some potential, JUST IN CASE theres gonna secretly be more… So, small youtubers, you can try to grow your channel a little bit with this game! This game also contains alot of references to diffrent games, and actually contains HUMOR. I sometimes actually chuckled on these fails, they are hillarious. 9.9/10 game, its a little bit short, but amazing. Would recommend this game to anyone.
! i had to get a mouse for this game to right click the bios

To be fair, the game itself is short. And yes, you can essentially “experience” the whole thing on a youtube video. But the amount of dedication and time made into making hilarious situations and parts to trick the player are so funny and entertaining to see. The developer obviously poured their hearts to make this masterpiece, so I would recommend getting it to support them and be tricked by options that make absolutely 0 sense.

Fable - The Lost Chapters
TL;DR Great Game, Buy it without a doubt.
I bought this game for the xbox when I was a kid and loved it. Ended up getting it for the 360 years later and the game was once again fresh and fun to play, especially as I have gotten older I began to notice there are alot of low key jokes and crude humour placed throughout the game that I had not realised when I was just a young lad.
So once again…years later I bought it for the PC and here I am going through the game AGAIN and I’m still not tired of it.

Fable was a revolutionary title/series. Granted, nothing beats the first Fable and the expansions (TLC and Anniversary).
I’ll begin with facts about the gameplay, then write my opinion in the final paragraph.
Facts:
This game is not open world, but is great at creating that illusion for people with no experience in the series.
If you only follow the main quest line, you could beat this in 4 hours (that’s being generous).
If you are like me, a completionist, and take regular breaks and sleep before ending the game, each save game can take 48 hours to beat realistically.

Fable Anniversary
This review is biased due to childhood nostalgia. That being said this is an excellent game. If it is on sale and you like rpg’s even a tiny bit, I would definitely recommend this.

STAR WARS™ - Knights of the Old Republic™
If you consider yourself a Star Wars fan OR an RPG fan, this game is a must, regardless of the current year.
If you haven’t played this one yet, you’re missing out.
A playthru for me personally is usually 30-45 hours, enjoy every second!

Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive
Tex Murphy is one of those things you either had to grow up with or which you’ll probably never get.
That being said, it remains one of the least worst FMV series in existence. Some would even go as far as to call all of them a masterpiece. Personally, I won’t but there’s definitely historical merit to them and the story is indeed actually quite cool.
The acting is not as cringeworthy as the old C&C in between mission movies and has its moments, but all things considered this age pretty terrible.

Truely awesome game. Had this back in the day but forgot how good it really was. The story line is great and the puzzles are devious but not un-doable with a little logic. All in all, it took me 38 hours to complete. ( although that includes time spent going off to make a cup of tea while I thought about where to go next) . Some of you may find that the initial scenes, discussions and traveling a little tedious at first but the game does become more exciting as it goes on.
The Tex Murphey games are the leaders in this genre. IMO.

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura… oh, this game…
In spite of my low ownership, I am more than familiar with this bizarre, wonderful masterpiece, a game I sometimes thought was a complete fever dream from the depths of my imagination, among a strange number of other games including an action game involving Skittles and a dark knight. I’m still not sure that one still exists, though.
Arcanum is NOT a fever dream, however, and does in fact exist and is a masterpiece of a forgotten era where computers had the ability to deal with the unique and antiquated graphical features on their own. Because Microsoft doesn’t know how to keep good features from previous operating systems, it is imperative that you look up a tutorial on how to play this game, and while on your way, pick up an unofficial patch and maybe a few mods; one of which being Virgil’s Debug Menu. You won’t regret it.

In my ongoing and likely futile effort to write a Steam review for every game in my library (#450 out of 612)… it’s time for Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magicka Obscura.
Arcanum is one of the finest CRPGs ever made, and arguably the most impressive product legendary (if somewhat infamous) developer Troika Games ever built. It’s a massive,, brilliantly open game in the vein of Fallout that offers players an unprecedented degree of freeom with regard to how they build their characters, how they play the game, and how they progress through the world. It’s difficult to overstate just how deeply engaging Arcanum can be—this one is a classic roleplaying game for very good reason.

The Last Express Gold Edition
I think this may well be the greatest game ever made. Yes, the controls are clunky as all get out. Yes, for people used to today’s games the ultra-high-tech-for-1997-digital-rotoscoping technique looks extremely antiquated. Yes, you’re dropped into the game with no idea what to do, and you’re going to fail. A lot. But at the same time “The Last Express” includes:
- Probably the best-developed characters in any adventure game I’ve yet played (the weakest is arguably Robert Cath, who the player controls, but even he has an intriguing and irritatingly-largely-unrevealed-due-to-lack-of-a-sequel backstory). By the end of the game you know what they want and what makes most of them tick, and since certain bad things are more or less guaranteed to happen to a number of them the result is the equivalent of an emotional shovel to the face.

Ahead of its time but stuck in the past
First read about this game way back when it came out, in a magazine I still have, where the reviewer was left in complete awe because of unique design for an adventure game. Ever since it occupied a small cluster of neurons in the back of my head, waiting for me to play it and its moment to shine. I should say I never played the original so my review will only address this 2013 port, with some inferior exceptions others have noticed.
It plays like Myst, from 1st person perspective with static scenes as you move around, but is set in realistic environment of an vintage luxury passenger train called Orient Express. The whole game takes place in the same 4-5 vagon carts with beautifully rendered backgrounds. You move by clicking edges of screen with mouse cursor that contextually changes functions to forward, backward and left or right turn, with interaction prompts for opening doors and object/NPC interaction.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption
Pros..
1. Has a pretty solid story
2. great characters
3. has an amazing soundtrack
4. Doesn’t need to be modded in order to work like its counter part VTM Bloodlines
Cons.
1. Graphics are dated
2. Only allows 6 blood disciplines on your cast bar and you can’t key-bind your disciplines
3. The multiplayer doesn’t work and can’t even link up with friends through steam or even a LAN game.
4. Doesn’t have a steam workshop to fix bugs, add improved Graphics, or restore cut content.
5. Highly exploitable with being able to cast the discipline (awaken) on enemies to infinitely farm experience/gold which in turn makes the game insanely easy to play-through.

Short verdict: it will scratch your World of Darkness itch just as good as VtM: Bloodlines.
I played this game after completing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines , which got me addicted to the World of Darkness mythos in the first place. And neither was I disappointed this time. In fact, I was surprised that this almost 20 years old game can perform so good and I can enjoy it so much.
Although the story is not as intricate as in some other RPGs and, in the single player mode, you can’t choose your clan, the story is quite interesting anyway. It’s a wonderful opportunity to participate in quests both in medieval Prague and Vienna, as well as in modern London and New York of the 1990’s. Redemption captures the World of Darkness spirit just as well as Bloodlines.

Mayhem Brawler
15.09.2021
Recommend this game :smilekit:
19.08.2021 Unpolished and raw, but decent.
Ehh not best hitboxes (yours and enemies). Simplified combat. Sometimes input delay/response for your combination feels junky.
Prepare for no poise, counter hit bull$hithsu from punched enemies- they are being hit and hit you back(i understand that is an icon mechanism to track) Crowd control is not pleasent to play (prepare to spam safe move: “forward forward +P).
Fist attack needs to have bigger vertical hitbox, when enemies are very close you are unable to hit mob, or grab them

As a 43 years old gamer, I had the opportunity to play many beat’em up games on arcades. Golden Axe, Final Fight, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, Captain Commando, Punisher and much more. I loved them all. Now, thanks to several game developers we are able to get similar experiences again. Dragon’s Crown on PlayStation, Streets of Rage 4, Mayhem Brawler and the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge are some of the very nice examples.
The art style, graphics, sounds and the general atmosphere of this game is quite good. It’s a tad slow for my liking, but still it’s good and very well varied. Instead of dozens of same enemies with different colors, Hero Concept made themed enemies per stage. I like it.
