The pet gets stuck sometimes when you throw a ball or stick for it and you have no other choice than to force exit the game. It gets frustrating after a while. Also, the game could have more stuff for you to do. It gets repetitive really quickly.

This is fun for a few hours, but it does get a bit grindy. Every animal in Fantasy Friends has a baby and adult stage, with the beginning stage just being you feeding them and keeping their houses clean. The adult stage is where you can play with them and complete minigames to earn currency and improve the moods and physical health of your little friends. Currency is used to unlock new animals, or can be spent unlocking the 12+ skins for each animal randomly. There’s also a basic tutorial to get you going, easily followed by kids.

I haven’t slept in days. This game has an intricate and beautifully weaved story that is a joy to play through time after time, and you WILL enjoy playing it time after time because the endless mode provides endless replayability (no pun intended xD). I’ve already completed this game 5 times (on my 6th playthrough as we speak) and I plan to spend many, many more hours in the masterpiece of narrative-driven gaming.

I’d like to start off by saying that I’ve actually beaten this game.

Second, I should note that I’m a horse person. I’ve been riding hunt-seat for quite a few years now, and consider myself fairly well-versed in equine knowledge. But you don’t need a lick of knowledge to play this game.

You got this game from a friend, didn’t you? Probably during the Winter or Summer sale. Because no one in their right mind would buy this game for themself, unless it was to occupy a seven year-old for a while.

But whatever. It’s in your library now. And if you want to 100% it, you have to beat it. And to beat it you need five level 5 horses of each different breed.

Each passing decade affects the gameplay and visuals accordingly, from the way your employees and stars dress, the cars they drive, as well as their physical attributes. Random and historic events will spice things up for your studio.

Manage unique employee types

Not every employee is similar, stars like Actors, Directors and Producers require more attention than your average construction worker. Managing employees is fun, thanks to the randomly generated character traits for each employee. Will your main actor be a diva or a smooth operator?

Interactive product process

Game is still very raw and incomplete.. After 2hrs, there is not much new to do. It becomes mundane and just clicks before time expires kind of a game.. very little strategy to play. Once you hire all 6 employees most of the commissions are very easy to complete. And once a few own projects are successful, you have enough money to just sit and enjoy..

In the present stage I wouldn’t recommend the game but there is potential.

I really wanted to love this game, everything about it could’ve been done or handled way better than what it is now, and I wanted to give it a positive review, given that it’s in an early access, and made by a single developer, though I couldn’t.

The Game

DevLife is a game where you somehow end up in a locked time loop, you’ll be pausing the game a lot just so you don’t accidentally miss the “unfair” deadline.

You’re given commissions to complete based on your level, and unlocked components, eventually you’ll be able to do your own commercial projects that will profit you if you’re lucky with the RNG.

This is my GOTY 2021, and frankly it isn’t close.

Cook, Serve, Delicious, except it’s a 3D runaround with Among Us Tasks, except it’s a decidedly charming and hilarious time, except it’s SO HYPE. What is otherwise a very solid and enjoyable experience is cranked up to one of the most surprisingly awesome skill expression games on the planet (or off of it.) An amenity upgrade system that both requires and greatly rewards playing with all of your options and finding what setup works best for you, and an excellent variety of tweaks to the formula and post game content, combine to give this game way more replay potential than I’ve ever had from something in the same genre. What was literally an accidental stumble-upon one night has turned into one of my top 5 games of all time, in the span of a week. I cannot recommend this game enough.

I have been waiting for this game to arrive since it said was coming out in 2019 after searching for coop games so I am glad to see it finally out. The art for the game immediately drew me in, and could tell it would be a great co-op experience.

After now playing for only 9 hours, I will say they poured love into every fibre this game and polished it well for the release as I have yet to encounter an issue. It is fantastic for a couch co-op game, while not as frustrating as overcooked can be while still leaving me overwhelmed in chaos.

Little Lives

Little Lives

If you’ve played Life Quest 2: Metropoville, you will see some similarities with this game but it adds some additional features that are pretty charming. The driving system is goofy and enjoyable in small doses. The little quests your friends send you on are at times endearing and others aggravating (just like real life, lol!) As others have said, content is slim right now but the product as it is now was worth the price for me, a huge life sim fan.

I do wish the dev made a way to cancel the “drive to” animation (other than hitting escape and pausing the game), as sometimes I click a place and then decide I want to do something else. Also an “arrival time” estimate would be great when clicking-to-drive. Additionally, being able to check job requirements without travelling to the employment centre would make life easier!

Real player with 31.5 hrs in game

So this is really an adorable, simple and easy game. I liked that there was a driving aspect to the game, which I don’t normally enjoy in sim/management games. The driving didn’t feel as touchy or sensitive as normal driving games, but the biggest portion I enjoyed was being able to press space and allow the game to drive to locations for me when the cuteness of the driving wore off (again, not normally a fan of driving aspects in games). The game itself is really straight forward and a bit too easy. You have to eat, sleep, rest and socialize. Getting a job is the major aspect of this game and it’s quite easy to move up financially (don’t need to get a bank loan at all). I was able to get 2 full adult degrees plus over $10k in about 6 hours. So “beating” the game doesn’t take very long. It would be nice if they added more things to do or balanced out the stats a bit to make it a slight challenge.

Real player with 62.5 hrs in game

Better Graphics and a tiny bit better than the original game, however there is not much you can really do, there are frequent bugs that cause players to freeze and unable to do anything unless they restart (causing lost progress of the day) Majority of the game is running around getting stuff for other people, and constantly grinding youtube videos (Granted yes that is the whole point of the game) but theres nothing else you can really do aside from gaming and streaming, no cinemas, no real character interactions with the other npcs (aside from kissing and talking to them you cant actually do anything with them). Even after marrying one they live with you and still nothing else you can do. Again not the point of the game but overall quality of life/world building isnt exactly there because theres no content outside of video making. Customization is great but i wish there were more options, clothing wise and house wise (I wish expansion or more workstations were possible) overall same old goal of becoming #1, but that ending and overall goal with NT Codes and the algorithim was really disappointing. I Finished the game in under a week and in game time (Before winter of year 1) Only thing i really have left is 5 mil award, and thats it. everything else is just the same thing over and over. Honest review, its only an okay game, does some stuff better than the first, but i think the first game had overall more content and different paths to choose from that gave everything a little more content and variety to it. Honestly not worth the grind but was still okay within the moment or early parts of the game.
