Intro
Welcome to the resort! In Solenars Edge II: Champions, you’ll be able to customize your character and explore a resort full of minigames. Looking for fights? We got you covered. A lot of characters with different classes are available to recruit for VR battles. Be warned though, as losing will also mean death. The game seems to have co-op support from a different build branch, but since I didn’t try it, this review will be based on that.

Silicomrades
Grab your local friend or via Steam Remote Play, build your robots with unique abilities, and prepare yourself for shoot-up with evil robotic armies. All that while receiving (more or less) severe, enraging (or just funny) defects in 10+ original episodes, all packed with stunning hand-drawn visuals. Fall apart but do not fall back!
TWO ROBOT BUDDIES
Crawlbot and Jetbot are different in terms of playstyle and customization options, but they complement each other. Despite being from low-quality materials and prone to malfunctions.
BUILD THEM UP…
Assemble your very own robots from various bonus parts, choose more faulty parts to build a more powerful but more unstable robot. Get additional moving directions, bigger magazine or active reload ability.
…AND WATCH THEM FALL APART
All bonuses need to be balanced out with faulty parts in a unique “High risk - High reward” customization. Once your robot is damaged enough, it will start to malfunction. Be prepared for various defects such as friendly fire, nonstop movement, or reloading a random number of bullets.
VARIABLE HAND-DRAWN ENEMIES AND ENVIRONMENTS
Play through 7+ episodes, each consisting of three missions designed to be played in one sitting forming a short story. In every one of them, meet different enemies and experience variable beautiful environments, all created and animated by hand.

We have chosen the most boring theme on the planet Earth, added robots, turned it upside down, and took it to an absurd extreme, thus forming the brand new genre of comedic totality. Your enemies are vicious, tireless, and armed with suitcases. They stop at nothing to reach their sinister goal. Except for the lunch break, there is no way they are going to miss that.

Red Solstice 2: Survivors
A few things about Red Solstice 2:

Red Solstice is one of those games where having a group of people in voice chat with whom you regularly play makes it significantly better.

I found the unlock progression-rate to be rather slow, yet far from the worst. If you’ve ever played Vermintide 2, it’s noticeably faster than that, but still a bit of a grind. Though, take this with a grain of salt, as I dislike all time-accumulated or points-accumulated unlock-gating in games that do not have a tycoon-like feedback element to them.

I’ve gotten some play time out of this and enjoyed it for the most part, so I’ll give it a thumbs up, especially for its price tag.
If you’re fine with lots of bugs, some balance issues and weird descriptions with new content releases which are fixed between a week to a month later, then this is a pretty solid game. It’d be an awesome game if it wasn’t constantly tripping over itself with every content release.
Singleplayer is serviceable with bots if you build them and use them right. There are a lot of “wrong” builds which will make playing singleplayer with bots miserable until the “right” builds are discovered. Every game mode can also be played online coop with friends or strangers, which tends to make the experience more interesting.

After the huge success of my favorite game Bigger Guns, I decided it was worth taking a look at the new game of the creators of this addictive shooter. After the first hours of playing, I can rightfully say that the game has potential and personally I am not disappointed. My heart was drawn to the map called “the rock”, which will become a cult classic among esports maps in the future.
As you would expect from this ambitious studio, they classically left us with a lot of content to start with and a title for hours of fun. Future patches will surely have more content to fill the next hundreds of hours of fun in this next-gen shooter.

NBA 2K21
The hands down worst game series is back with another carbon copy of its predecessor. I could just copy-paste my NBA 2k20 review, but that would be hypocritical.
I remember listing the recurring bugs and the most glaring defects in my early reviews. Perhaps the most annoying, recurring, bug is the automatic playcalling bug: There’s a switch in the options to toggle the playcalling from automatic to manual. The switch doesn’t work, still. An ongoing bug for some five years now. I’ve personally reported this bug for countless of times directly to the 2k “support”, with the same answer: It will be repaired in the next “version” of the “game”. If these are just yearly versions of the game, why do we pay 60 € for it? The number one disgusting “feature” of the game is the so-called personal power field: The basketball players on the court cannot really collide with their bodies, ever. There’s an invisible power field surrounding every player, which prevents collisions. And it prevents the realism of physics happening, unfortunately as well. Some old basketball computer games around 15 years ago displayed this horrendous feature. It was quickly removed. Until 2k games wanted to ruin the only NBA game franchise for PC for several years with that retarded feature. These are just examples, to give you an idea how low the standards are in every step of the production chain. Just to add a few…the pick’n’roll ball defender still tries to go under the screen, all these years after Steph Curry changed the league; You, or any of your teammates, are unable to tip the ball to the hoop off a rebound, only CPU’s team can; The animation gaps between you actually being able to control your player are so long. The list goes on and on. I don’t think one, single, area of this game is well, or even fairly produced. Every facet of the game is a fail.

It would honestly be fair to call 2K an evil company at this point. There are only two options; either the company is staffed solely by incompetent developers who are incapable of creating a functioning game OR, much more likely, they knowingly, annually, decide to tighten the screws of their monopoly around the heads of literally millions of kids who shell out billions of dollars in revenue to this company every year.
We can talk about rampant cheating, abysmal AI, or the horrific optimization that is sure to make even a beginer-level programmer cry himself to sleep. I, however, think it is much more interesting to talk about the scam itself: to purposefully make the game unbearable throughout every facet of its gameplay. The sheer malignance of such behavor is difficult to understand for normal people, but here it is important to understand how financial incentives choke the life out of every argument for game improvements that is not bounded in optimizing the “revenue stream.”

Story:

Switch Fighters during the Game
Player needs to strategically choose their Band of 6 Apostles before the Match. Apostles are not equally matched and fit various roles (Warriors, Shooters, Tanks, Mages, Supporters, Assassins etc.). They get serious advantages or suffer disadvantages in different battle scenarios.
Killing is not everything (MOBA-like)
3-phased Modes with various Objectives make an opportunity to think tactically about the next move. Defending the base, setting the trap or outsmarting in Apostle choices can be the key to victory.
