Do you want to play a party game without breaking friendships? Then mealmates is for you. This sequel is a direct upgrade from the first game, where you can do more than just spoil your mealmate, play minigames and give him away to be eaten. You can customize your mealmate with clothes you can find in the “neighbourhood”, cook recipes which can later be bought in the shops and unlock things by completing achievements.
The replayability is GOLD, the music is GOLD, the game itself is just GOLD.
Worth the money. Some day I will invite my friends to give this a try.

Progress Game
I love this game. People are forgetting that this is still super new and wont have a lot of content. I am sitting at 90 hours on the game so far and love hitting those high numbers. To the reset complaints, I mean it only takes like 2 hours to get back to the max anyway so its not worth the stress over that. Also resets are common in alphas and betas and these children new to gaming don’t seem to understand that.
EDIT- I have hit a wall on floor 1318 of the infinite dungeon that after I beat the enemy whos health bar does not budge until death my game crashes. I however have fixed this by just going somewhere else on the map. Can’t wait for more!

As of writing this review I am level 842 and have played for ~38.2 hours.
Progress game is a game about.. Well, progressing. You kill enemies to craft better gear so that you can kill even stronger enemies. You get points which you use to update various different stats & much more. There’s currently 7 different zones to explore and conquer.
You can play through the “main game” in about 2-6 hours but if you still desire more there’s a zone with infinite amount of enemies for you to slay!
You might think Progress Game lacks content, but you have to remember there’s only 1 developer working on it, and for free!

After School Murder Club!!
it may look a bit different but let me tell you: this was the most exciting and fun visual novel game I’ve played in a while and it’s 100% worth trying!
and yes, with 9 hours I’ve only got one ending so far (still gotta get the other one’s!) so.. if you take your time with reading the dialogues, you get a lot for a free (!!) game.
ps. Pain(t)-kun still haunts me in my dreams (and I ain’t complaining)

I wasn’t sure about this title at first, but I ended up enjoying it in the end.
Apparently this started out as a practice/joke visual novel, and it definitely shows, but it knows what it is: a satirical jab at anime tropes with an overall silly plotline. There are references to popculture and memes throughout. Heck, one of the first things the main character says is “Gotta go fast!”
The artstyle isn’t really anything to write home about. The characters seem to have been made with some kind of anime dress up doll programs, which causes a bit of whiplash when the actually drawn scenes show up thanks to how different they look.

Doodle Date
Full review at: https://thegamehoard.com/2019/02/12/a-look-at-the-latest-doodle-date-pc/
Doodle Date is a joke you and the game work together to tell. Using the simple design of a dating simulator, the game asks the player to fill in images meant to make that player laugh, the text reactions and situations the images are used for doing a good job of facilitating some funny moments. The plot is quite clearly constructed around the idea of amusing the player rather than giving too much meaning to the events or dating, but it does do some unexpected exploration of the concepts behind one creator drawing a character to life for the purposes of romance. Not really demanding any artistic skill, Doodle Date is an effective skeletal structure for setting up some silly moments, making it a game about having a laugh rather than having some deeply involved dating story or a well developed art platform.

Donāt take these doodles lightly! This VN is killer!
Youāre the Creator! You create doodles that pull you into a world of blank pages and dreams that you imagine. Claire is your first drawing and sheās the one who pulls you into this mysterious and new world.
The game starts off as your standard visual novel. You have choices and various endings (3 to be exact). The only difference here is that you get to draw the key points of the game.
I used a tablet to draw and they STILL looked a hot mess. The dialogue is very tongue in cheek and took me by surprise. I have to say, the overall plot towards the end was a huge surprise to me.

Incredipede
You might be looking at this game and thinking “Wow, that’s one unique game!”, but the most unique aspect of this game is that the achievements ask you to do things in the real world.
This game wants you to go outside and explore your own backyard. It wants you to look closely at the insects and plants that you probably haven’t looked at since you were very young kids.
That is amazing.
I recommend taking a break to do an achievement anytime you get stuck on a level, and then go back to laughing out loud at the acrobatics of your creature.

This is the exact definition of incrediphillia. One of the best indie games on steam without a doubt. There are no physic engine based games that can compare to Incredipede. I’m sure most of you have played some sort of flash game some place where the whole point is to create some sort of contraption, building, or any kind of construct. What I think makes this stand apart from the rest is the mere fact you create a simple character with odd physics, like some sort of construct, with movable parts. You are really only limited to your own imagination. You can create pretty gnarly stuff and get through the various levels. The game itself has some replayability as well. The game allows you to do the levels on Easy, which gives you a premade design to finish the levels, and then you have the Hard mode, which starts you off with the base of the character Quozzle, which is just her round eye. By the way, when you finish the game, don’t fret. There is a level editor included in the game. You can create some fun levels and you can share them with your friends as well. I really can’t think of any negative things the game has. It is a pretty solid title, and I believe the price is just right for such a game. With that I say, whatever you do this Summer, it won’t be as fun as Incredipede. All bugs wish they could have as many limbs as the gal in this game. Every purchase of this game helps fund research for limb growth of bugs, so open those wallets to make their life easier.

Overview
Youropa is a 3D puzzle game where you must defy the laws of gravity to reach your goal. Walking on walls, upside down, on your side, at ridiculous heights, will have your senses mixed up and confused. On a few occasions I had to stop playing the game because I felt a bit sick. The game really portrays a sense of height as you walk around on ledges and walls looking down at the scenery below.

Second Update
I’d like to keep the original review in tact so future viewers can see the full context and timeline of the events that took place. To summarize, the developer saw my review and responded with patches much faster than I would have ever expected. In the comments I called the response unprecedented, and I’ll echo that here.
When I review a game I’m never going in to that with the hope of punishing the dev or game. In my opinion, the absolute best outcome one could hope for is for them to care and respond positively to criticism which happened here.

!AnyWay!
An achievement spam game, everything’s obtainable by idling for some hours in the main menu (but not during gameplay).
The game itself consists of a very simplified platformer with crappy, non-rebindable controls (so forget WASD keys to move, which should be a must from Windows 95).
The whole game is graphically conceived in a “television” shape and with extremely retro-styled characters and overall graphics; you can push the keys from 1 to 4 in order just to reduce the screen size which is something I sincerely don’t understand - if you aren’t playing in 1, full screen, you’ll likely see barely anything given how crappy the graphics are in a general way.

If I could put a neutral review I wouldā¦ but I cant so I will just thumbs up this
This game has so much potential but it just does a few things wrong;
-
The grab onto a rope button and jump button at the same… its just annoying
-
To grab a rope you have to be at the bottom… this usually means you just miss the rope
… thats as far as I got, I couldnt cross the water on the first level but im sure if you spent sometime you could easily get used to the controls
But lets be honest, you are not here for the gameplay, you are here for the 4997 achievements! If thats ll you care about then you can just get these by idling the game for 1.5 hours on the main menu and never touch this game again! But in terms of gameplay there is none

Gal*Gun: Double Peace
TL;DR
This game is sort of a retro arcade-style fast-paced on-rail shooter, except instead of using guns to shoot enemy soldiers on a battlefield, you’re using sex pheromones to shoot anime girls in an academy. Overall it’s a great game, and I really enjoy playing it.
Main Pros
- There’s a built-in “panic button” (normally bound to M) that you can press to pause the game and pull up a fake old school RPG game to fool friends or family members if they were to walk in to you being bombarded by lustful anime girls.

Itās not a great port: xbox gamepad prompts are everywhere (but mouse and keyboard are working, and in story-critical QTEs you’ll get proper mouse prompts) and there are unexplainable game crashes on some setups, but it is still fun and weird Japanese nonsense. You should buy it, if you are into shooting pheromones at school girls and female teachers trying to express their love to you.
You can call this game āa lewd Japanese nonsenseā. Itās an on-rails shooter. Your character moves through the school and then SUDDENLY GIRLS! Thousands of them! And every one of them wants to become your girlfriend forever. You have no choice but to defend yourself. You must disarm them - you do it by shooting pheromones at your attackers. In the best traditions of on-rails shooters, girls are zone-sensitive targets, so it matters where you shoot your load. Disarmed girls will scream with ecstasy and fall on the ground in lewd funny possess. Apart from the standard shooting mechanics, you can see through girlsā clothes while zooming-inā¦and touch girls in doki-doki mode…andā¦and don’t judge me.

Teenage Blob
Hello there Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Mitch Larson, and I’m here to tell you about An awesome game called Teenage Blob.
This Game is brilliant. Let’s talk about it. The controls are fairly simple. you just use keyboard arrow keys and space bar etc. The controls are smooth. And the gameplay is really fun. There’s a lot of different minigames and there’s a lot of achievements for this game too.
Music gets a 10 out of 10 because the music in this game is absolutely stellar. Seriously, completely awesome music. Written and played by the SuperWeaks.

Finally, a game I can play as a blob.
Honestly, I never got to go to a concert. I know, lame, but I canāt help that my family couldnāt afford concert tickets back then anyway. The one concert I was actually able to attend actually got canceled at the last minute (totally not still salty). And now when weāre better off now, I live in a town where nothing happens and if I do want to attend something Iāll have to travel a long distance to just get there (my dreams of going to anime/gaming conventions are crushed). Well, if I was never able to go to a concert, I might as well go to one in a game.
