I would recommend this video if you like me need instructions on how to play the game.

I like the game….But before I got it I was able to see and watch detailed walk through videos on how the game was played. Now that I got the game the only videos to see are the lighting and the very short walk through introduction of the game.

I’m haven second thoughts about this game because of this issue.

Florida Simulator 1986

Florida Simulator 1986

Its got gators, shotguns, drugs, and is the most accurate portrayal of a 1980s Florida Man to have ever been captured by videogame experts. Best two bucks I ever spent, although there are still a few bugs that pop up now and again– but what did you really want out of this? Absolute clarity, beauty, and neutrality?

Think again, boys and girls.

If you can’t handle the shotguns, the grenades, the hardcore story-telling, and the stealth of a beer-bellied, swamp-bred man on his way to victory, then this is not the game for you.

I started the game out thinking how cool it was that FINALLY a developer used custom assets he actually imported into the GameGuru software. I give him a ton of praise for the effort that he put into this, but this game is a shining example of why you don’t use GameGuru to make a serious game with. GameGuru is absolute trash. Yes, I get that it’s a tool just like any game engine, but GameGuru is like trying to use a cheap plastic toy wrench to work on your car engine. It’s NOT going to work for any real game.

Gangsta Magic

Gangsta Magic

A great game with the battles, and in just a few hours I felt all the pleasure of the game. And also the game developing thinking in some trials, which is a big plus. I’ve noticed more pros in the game than the minuses, like bugs, and I’m definitely recommending this game.

Cool indie thrash metal at the lowest price (just over a dollar). Don’t count on this as a serious project. However, this may sound ridiculous :)

There are some annoying bugs at the moment, so I recommend in advance. Hoping for new updates and fixes :

Franky the Bumwalker: REBORN

Franky the Bumwalker: REBORN

Franky is an inter-dimensional adventurer with an unshakably sunny disposition. Even when, in the course of his voyage to Tubo World – a place founded and densely populated by colorful, happy meat-tubes called Lulambas – his legs atrophy and his buttocks become his only means of locomotion, our wonder-stricken hero doesn’t deign to notice his misfortune. You’ll smile as broadly as Franky, again and again, as you watch him ambulate across the brilliant landscape upon his articulate arse.

Franky takes its inspirations from sunny and surreal American cartoons like Cow and Chicken, Adventure Time, and Spongebob Squarepants, and filters them through Russia’s own tradition of dreamlike absurdity to produce a micro-epic that, while simple (perhaps pure-hearted would be a better description), is suitably exotic. I would say the alien flavor is rather intensified by the off-kilter English; it’s wonky but sweet, and you’re never confused as to what it means.

A nice, short game with fun characters and simple plot about strange bum-walking adventurer. A truly indie hidden gem.

Cyber Heart is a unique game, but in this case, it isn’t much of a positive. The gameplay is unusual, but it feels like it’s only weird for the sake of being weird, rather than because it results in a fun gameplay loop. The controls also seemed bugged as you cannot start moving without wiggling around to build up momentum. It may have been an intentional choice, but I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere. The core of the game is built around using both WASD and arrow keys. WASD moves you, while the arrow keys build/move walls. All you do is use the walls to kill boxes that are coming towards you. Any that you don’t block, you dodge. Then, you just have to survive the timed waves. This is where the game gets boring, because it is 5 minute long waves, in which there are a couple enemy types that endlessly spawn. The only way to make the wave end faster is by killing enemies which lowers it by 1 second. This is ultimately what makes this game bad, because there is nothing that pulls you in and makes you want to play. While the game overall is mediocre, the repetitiveness makes it much more of a chore to play.

This seems like a complete reference to DDLC and I love it.

↓↓ SPOILER ALERT ↓↓

  1. If you combine the first letters of all the words you can read the name “Sayori”;

  2. The words could be a reference to the Sayori’s character (All happy words and some bad ones, just to mean how’s she like);

  3. The body of the player kinda looks like Sayori;

  4. The end is the death of the player and it’s exactly how Sayori died.

FFS I liked this game H3Soft. Good Job even if it’s a small game.

Cybernetic Fault

Cybernetic Fault

From the very beginning I can say that the game surprised me a lot. I didn’t expect this from an indie game with a couple of reviews. The game has everything from puzzles to plot. The graphics are nice, the tasks themselves (quests, puzzles) are very high quality and interesting, it is a pleasure to pass them.

Summing up, I can say that the game is definitely worth its money and even more.

Cybernetic Fault surprised me a lot because I didn’t expect such a high-quality indie game.

The gameplay is based on the principle of seek and think, the necessary things are scattered throughout the level and only appear if there is a story advance. The controls are very simple, but it is strange that a person cannot overcome some obstacles by jumping or sitting down. The graphics are great, the optimization is also fine. As a result, it turned out to be a cool and very entertaining game.

project BLARI

project BLARI

For a game coded by a single person, Project BLARI is a game that at first, seems to be a simple retro / horror game like any other, but I can tell you it isn’t !

Pros :

  • The Enemies you encounter are easy to predict and counter if you know how to, a brand new player will have some trouble at first but after some playtime, you can basically counter all enemies easily. (this can be a Pro and a Con, depending on personal opinions)

  • The attention to realism is well made ! you can’t just turn your camera and check behind you, your view is represented by Terence ! The LORE of the game only adds up on it, the small details can tell you a lot about the complex story this game has !

Whiskey.Mafia. Leo’s Family – the game that will move you in the history of 1920, you will start right from school, studying to be a mechanic and, accordingly, go to work as a mechanic. And then you will start to open up a world where there will be various opportunities. The plot will captivate you, the story will tell you how to earn money dishonestly in the 20s. It is worth noting that the game has nice pixel graphics, which conveys its atmosphere of those times and, at the same time, allows you to run the game on a weak computer. The music is pleasant, from those years. The game also has a drawback, which is that you need to read a lot if you want to understand the plot. And Yes, the game has a kind of open world and the appearance of life. I think you should try to play this game if you are not confused by pixel graphics.

DOM RUSALOK

DOM RUSALOK

Intriguing and effective at the best of times, Dom Rusalok has the potential to be a very enjoyable experience for the right person - so long as a few bumps in the road can be overlooked regarding the gameplay.

All in all, I can recommend this.

It is unabashedly a nostalgia porn for anyone growing up in Russia in the 90s. The dialogues are believable, the situations - understandable, the otherwise purposeless close ups of items most of us had or at least often saw tickle the nostalgia bone.

The atmosphere of a nice urban legend carries this pretty far.

The gameplay is very much assessible and fun, think The Cat Lady.

At some point things start getting ridiculous, and personally I don’t appreciate the direction it leads the story to. Not even sure I understood the ending, and as such, it didn’t leave any emotional impact on me. Thinking back to it, I can see it explained in two different ways, and would consider neither fitting or good. Maybe it’s on me and the game is deeper than I think, but personally I detest purposeful ambiguity for the sake of it.
