Blue fencer Resurrection

Blue fencer Resurrection

A 2D action game featuring the Action editor hero “Yashiyu”.

The castle of Demon King Santa has 8 stages full of powerful enemies.

Invincible dash slash, powerful slash, 6 types of sub weapons.

Make full use of various techniques to overcome the magic castle.

== STORY ==

The mysterious Demon King descended from the other world and led a powerful army to conquer the earth. Many races surrendered to the Demon King and those that resisted were mercilessly exterminated. When everyone was about to give up hope…….without any warning, a brave man appeared.

‘My name is Yasiyu……..’

The blue-haired man left that alone and set out.

The Demon King, who was about to unite the earth, was praying in the temple.

‘Come or Yasiyu let’s settle this.’

Putting an end to the repeated fate, that was also the purpose of the Demon King.

He is the star of hope, the one who saves the earth, the one who is destined to be a brave man. In the eyes of the demons he is a hardcore executioner.

== Game systems ==

The hero consumes SP when he uses the technique.

SP will recover over time.

The main character’s HP decreases when it is attacked by an enemy.

If HP becomes 0, it will be a mistake.

If the hero makes a mistake, HP and SP will increase.

Even people who are not good at action can clear it if they try without giving up.

If you make a mistake, the score you get will decrease, and the score will decrease over time.

Action gamers who are confident in their arms should aim for no mistakes and speed clearing.

== Controls ==

It supports Xinput and DirectInput gamepads, but menu display and shutdown can only be operated with the keyboard.

Please delete the recorded replay from Explorer.

Please select joystick movement in the controller settings.

The Darkest Tales

The Darkest Tales

Join a stuffed bear named Teddy on this gloomy and sinister adventure to rescue his owner, Alicia, from the realm of dreams and distorted childhood fantasies. Who else will fight for the life of the girl, now grown-up, if not her long-forgotten and dusty toy?

The Darkest Tales is a complex and compelling adventure, full of familiar characters and fairytale landscapes. Over the course of the journey, you’ll have to come face-to-face with the difficult questions of life more than once.

Happily Never After

You’ll meet familiar characters from your childhood, but the reunion isn’t likely to be a happy one. The gingerbread men are out for blood, Sleeping Beauty seems to be a couple centuries behind on sleep, and the Little Mermaid looks more like a sea witch than an innocent child of the waves.

Teddy Scissorpaws

As it turns out, our hero is a jack-of-all-trades. He crafted a bow and melee weapons from a pair of scissors and uses needles as powerful arrows and grappling hooks. All’s fair in a fight against the forces of evil.

Ahead lies only darkness

Each level takes place in a recognizable, but distorted fairytale world rife with combat, obstacles, and secrets. On this journey you will gain experience, master and branch out your skills, and overcome a multitude of challenges — from fighting blood-thirsty rubber duckies to exploring the giants’ castle in the clouds.

The Darkest Tales is a game with deep and mysterious lore. As you progress and defeat monsters, you’ll unveil the mysteries of this nightmarish world. How will this tale end? It’s up to you to decide.

Catmaze

Catmaze

Okay, Catmaze, Catmaze. Pretty hard to write about the game. It is a Metroidvania by all means. However, there are really two distinct types of Metroidvanias out there and this is pretty important. Long story short:

  • If you like exploring and finding secrets then by all means give the game a go. It took me 11 hours to 100% it but I am a pretty seasoned player and I bet it will be like 13-15 for an usual player. The secrets were not something to write home about but the overall exploration and level layout are pretty solid. The movement is very enjoyable although most of the jumps are very precise (and that comes, again, from a seasoned player)

Catmaze is a very true and accurately labeled metroidvania-style platformer that simply fits the genre much better than many I have seen with the same label. I like a lot about it after playing through my single bad ending, which I will get into in a bit, but without any spoilage, as far as I can say from what I have played, it is really a great game. There are some flaws, and some things I dislike about it as well. I’ll get into both momentarily, but I do wish to mention once more that this was a really nice, almost reminiscent experience. I cannot really say why, but it reminded me a bit of something from another time, in a nice sort of way.

OBEN

OBEN

I recommend to play the demo first. I feel OK supporting the effort that went into this, but TBH I felt I wasted my time. It made a bad first impression on me - the game opens in a small 3D hub with moveable camera and movement you can control, then moves to the first “level” which abruptly switches to fixed camera 2D and introduces some “charge to jump” mechanism, after which you’re dropped into a simple maze (which your very slow movement speed turns into a 4-10 minute swamp), then the first of the 3D platforming sections.

Hieroglyph: Prologue

Hieroglyph: Prologue

It is actually a pretty good game with nice char-design and OST. It’s definitely worth the purchase

Real player with 5.3 hrs in game

Hieroglyph: Prologue is a 2D retro pixel platformer/brawler built by filling out templates in the godawful GameMaker Studio game construction kit.

While some modicum of effort went into filling out the templates here, as the game features some VN story elements and a surreal back story, at heart it’s still just a bad, clunky GameMaker Studio template flip. It’s impossible to build a great game from a terrible, flawed foundation, no matter how much effort goes into putting lipstick on the GameMaker pig.

Ruvato: Original Complex

Ruvato: Original Complex

Honestly, I really liked this game. The gameplay loop is very interesting and, besides some instances, I even enjoyed the platforming. The story is quite interesting as well, with a good dose of mystery,

If you want a good challenge, especially if you are aiming to complete it (clearing all stages with A Rank), I suggest checking it out.

Overall, a solid 8.5 for me.

Alien Cat 7

Alien Cat 7

Alien Cat 7 is a 2D retro pixel game. It’s less of a platformer and more of an action puzzle game. Instead of traditional platformer mechanics, you jump from box to box after they land. The boxes drop exactly where you stand so you must keep moving. Some boxes destroy others, so you must move in such a way that the boxes stack up sufficiently to give you a path to the exit.

As far as game concepts go, it’s one I haven’t seen and it’s inventive. The problem is just in the implementation. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel “art” as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It’s unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked, so the game falls below acceptable standards for PC.
