Beat ‘Em Up

Beat ‘Em Up

Old style beat em up game in story mode. Nice graphics and easy to control. Makes really fun!

Would like to see more characters and not just different clothing. And a 2 Player mode. This one could be cooperative or in an arena.

Until now, a good work.

VR Immortal Fight

Definitely recommend this game to any new VR people wanting to achieve their fantasies of shooting fire and lighting out of their hands and having a 1v1 sword fight with a knight. The base game has so much content, I truthfully don’t know if I have used or seen every piece of it. i had played 4 levels till now and all levels are pretty amazing with AAA graphics, just try it out.

I thought it would be a massive fighting game in VR, but it was not that massive but a very good fighting game than anything here in steam (fighting catoegry). i wish there would be new updates with massive gameplay and powerups

I played this with a friend via remote play and enjoyed it a lot. There are some major bugs at the moment that hampered the play, namely with controller detection. Glitches such as the volume control reverting back to full volume in the middle of a match, sudden death rounds not allowing anyone to take damage, or being able to bring up the main menu during arcade mode and blocking up the screen, these are a few examples.

This game fills a niche that I really like and is cheaply priced. If you do not like unfinished early access games, then you should wait for more development, but I’ve gotten the game to be able to provide more feedback to the developers. I can give this game a modest recommendation for now.

POLICE RESPONSE VR : DISTURBANCE

POLICE RESPONSE VR : DISTURBANCE

summary ; if you are just after a police shoot em’ up then this isn’t for you. if however you are after an experience that may make you think a lot more than you were expecting then give this a go. In my opinion this is A GEM and ONE OF A KIND.**I should also mention that this game definitely has the potential for some rather confronting encounters, i myself have so far encountered things such as suicide by cop, what appeared to be a mentally ill person who had a firearm and i was forced to fire etc. This game can be very confronting at times but i think that is what makes it such a worthwhile experience.**I’m not sure you can call this a game as much as you’d call it an emulator. It tries to portray the kinds of situations police officers and other law enforcement/security personnel might be confronted with. You never know what you’ll be facing until it’s over, there’s often barely time to think before you have to decide which amount of force to apply to any of the scenarios. I found myself being sentenced for murder because the assailant pushed my partner and ran toward me with what i was convinced was a knife… it turned out to be a pair of handcuffs that were placed on him by my partner… It made me realise, with every failure i had, and there were a few, (i’m on playthrough 15 at this point i’m sure) that it’s never as easy for police as the media and the internet make it look.Overall, i think this “game” is so much more than you may think at first glance. While it still has it’s fair share of gameplay issues It really makes you think about what’s happening and i think that’s beautiful. I hope that this review helped you make up your mind about this experience. Given the low price tag i think you’d be silly not to pick it up and experience it for yourself.

This really ain’t a haha shoot bad guy kinda thing. It’s not exactly “standard simulator” for me, since those are usually more slow paced and need you to do more things. This is a fast pace sim, where you do slightly less things, but at a higher pace. At this price, def get this game. For me personally, I’d like more situations, like an active shooter situation, or a high speed chase or something like that. Since each level is randomly generated, I don’t care if it’s built like a rougelike, since you don’t loose or gain anything from dying, and there isn’t a “Level 1” and “Level 30”, your first time could be an intense shoot out and the last one before retirement (which is basically “YOU WON!” in this game) could be you just knocking on the door once and leaving.

Dance Collider

Dance Collider

Game provided via the Steam Curator program.

Dance Collider is a VR rhythm game.

There are a couple of games of this genre already so how does Dance Collider stand among them? I believe it’s one of the best. I’m having a lot of fun while playing it, unlike other rhythm games moves here actually make sense which makes it even more enjoyable. While in Beat Saber you are forced to make random erratic movements trying to hit the boxes(let’s face it people who make custom songs there have no idea what they are doing), here in Dance Collider your movements are much like dancing. You are punching nodes by the rhythm of a song/tune. The visuals are wonderful, not too much on the eye and not too little. Despite me not being fan of dubstep and modern electronic music I do think the sound effects and the music included are excellent to get your groove on. What makes this even better is that you choose characters which act as your opponent. Each of them has unique style and has different tunes. Movement is fluid with no tracking issues.

TL;DR: For an already small selection of titles Dance Collider is a must have title for any rhythm game enthusiasts that want to get into a cyberpunk themed dance battle.

The review:

If you want to find out what “you’re yoghurt” is continue reading.

The Street Fighter of dance battles set in a variety of distinctive arenas that give off a strong cyberpunk vibe. Each character has a unique musical style and special move to keep you moving. The idea of a dancing off vs a character that taunts you occassionally gives you a better sense of purpose rather than just dancing alone in a game racking up points.
