Bear’s Restaurant
There’s not too much I can say without absolutely ruining this beautiful and unique experience. Bear’s Restaurant more than exceeded my expectations and blew the lid off of the general idea of what a game is or what a game contains. I almost feel bad for calling it a game its much more than that, it’s an experience and a journey that I don’t think I will forget about. So, since it would be too easy to spoil by going in depth with an analysis I will try to be vague and only discuss specifics that have no bearing on experiencing this masterpiece. The game at its core is about a waiter/waitress cat, taking the last and favorite meals of people before they take their final train beyond the realm of existence to heaven. This is done by “diving” into memories to find out what those foods tasted like and peering into their lives and final moments alive.

Bear’s Restaurant is a touching story about life, death, friends, and family. It’s hard for me to really explain my feelings about this game concisely, but I have to say it’s one of the best I’ve ever played.
The updated translation also makes it so much more enjoyable now! I love this game, and I hope you love it too.

El juego es corto pero vale la pena jugarlo, al comienzo es frustrante no entender que es lo que hay que hacer, pero con un poco de cabeza y ciertos acertijos entiendes que tienes que hacer y como conseguirlo. Ademas hay que realizarlo en un tiempo muy limitado, El Impotente Meow-Meow te da unicamente 21 segundos pero este lo puedes extender para que te facilite el uso de tiempo.

- Mi única queja es que el juego me forzó a usar el teclado y el ratón. Correcto! tiene compatibilidad total con el mando pero tiene una sensibilidad muy baja en el joystick al mover la cámara POV y no puede ser configurada en las opciones, intente probar diversas configuraciones desde Steam, pero la sensibilidad persistía muy baja.

Took me a good while to figure out how to do everything, but it was worth it in the end. The dream I ended up realising was amazing (which was “COOKIES”, if you must know)! That speedrun mode is nerve-racking though, goddang, lol.
Really good game overall though, most unique thing I’ve seen in a hot minute! The concept kinda reminds me of Half Minute Hero (which I wasn’t a massive fan of), except everything is 3D and there’s no battles.
Can’t say I’m a massive fan of your progress fully resetting everytime you quit and come back though. New game and load game options would be nice.

Beautiful game with narration
The art, music, and voice acting in this game is very nice. I enjoyed the story, the way it unfolds is enjoyable. The concept could have been fleshed out a bit more.
The USD $10 price tag is a bit steep for some people, considering the length of the VN. If you can catch it on sale, go ahead. You will enjoy it over a cup of coffee.
