The Cat Machine
The Cat Machine is incredibly fun, having the time of my life.
It’s a puzzle game reminiscent of SpaceChem, in that you must build paths for certain objects to traverse in just the right way. But in The Cat Machine the thing you’re guiding is a train… of cats.
The mechanics are simple and intuitive, and the graphics, music & text are hilarious. I can’t get enough of these cat trains, and the scientist cats programming up a storm in the background.
In detail, you have a train of cats where each cat is a different color. You have to make the train go across tracks of the same color as the cats, in the same order. To make matters more complicated, the same set of tracks you designed has to work for several different cat trains.

A straightforward sequencing puzzle offering that never gets too convoluted for its own good. Earth is on a collision course with the sun, and only our beloved yarn connoisseurs can use their advanced technologies to restore the planet to its proper orbit. Players must assist scores of red, blue, and yellow cats in manuevering through an array of conveyor belts in the proper order so that the single white cat who is always at the back of each train can seal the deal and get the arcane machinery humming. The cat photo mouseovers are a neat touch to the proceedings - too bad there aren’t more of them spread throughout the various challenges! The lack of authentic meowing is also lamentable. I would appreciate a sequel with improved production values, extended gameplay mechanics, and a real sense of comedic urgency.

The Purring Quest
Well, the achievements here don’t actually go in favour of the game itself.. as a curator writes, namely For Achievement Hunters Only, “Just collect everything and break stuff. Even a fat cat and a dumb old dog (or a dumb old fat CatDog) can 100% this one with ease.”
The game’s made in Unity and you can modify some graphics and resolution options in the first menu.. even though the windowed mode is quite buggy for me at least, since it leaves two blue bands on the top and lower part of the screen for the whole game.

Nine Lives You Say? Nay, Only Seven Here
The Purring Quest was a random purchase made at some point recently on Steam after some recommendations from a few friends. It is an adventure platformer played as, you guessed it….a cat! I decided to give it a go yesterday. Before I get into my review, I wanted to copy this quote from The Purring Quest’s Steam product page for you to read.
A percentage of the profits will go directly to various animal welfare associations. So in addition to enjoying the game, you are contributing to a good cause.

Pix the Cat
Operating on the same basic mechanics, Pix the Cat features multiple modes that could probably be presented as separate little games instead. The arguable showcase is the Pac-Man reminiscent Arcade. There are multiple similarities to the relatively recent Pac-Man Championship Editions in particular, with the whole game being on a timer, a rising speed meter and presenting a series of little boards for you to clear. And let’s not forget Championship Edition DX had those little ghosts following you in a snake-like fashion.

This game is like some bizarro version of Pac Man Championship Edition DX+, requiring many of the same skills. It’s also much harder.
The goal of each board is to grab all the eggs, then walk over every circle. A chick will hatch out of every egg you touch and start following you, forcing you to play Snake until you can drop them onto the circles and get rid of them. For maximum points, you need to pick up every egg on the board before stepping on a single circle, turning most boards into a tough pathfinding puzzle. The most creative idea at work here is the way you can take portals back to previous levels at any time, which is sometimes required for playing optimally.

Gravity Cat

Gravity Cat Review
The game is truly an insparational game. It was definitely worth the 0 cents I saved up to buy this wonder of game.The art style is just so fascinating competing with games such as cuphead and Legend of Zelda: BOTW. The sound track is truly a masterpiece with what seems to be the same note repeating itself over and over again like it was from NCS which makes it even better.It is so easy to get the hang of this game and levels are all inovational like gravity rush was kind of rude to make a game nearly identical too thisThe variation of obstacles for each level is mind blowingly high. Who ever came up with the Idea for all of them is amazingly intelligent.

Bundle Kitt
This is literally the best game I have ever played. It has an amazing soundtrack and stunning visuals with a deep and complex character with a profound character development arc. I was instantly taken in with Bundle Kitt, it was a perfect combination of cute and fun that left an aching desire to play more. I love this game and honestly cannot recommend it more, its a free, cheap game that will brighten your day and put a smile on your face. Thank you Bundle Kitt.

My Experience
OK, Bundle Kitt is fantastic. The speed at which the character moves and the abruptness of the mews are just perfect. There are many games that try to be funny, often through scripted jokes and cutscenes. The brilliant thing about Bundle Kitt is that it actually involves the player in the comedic timing. The scenes often don’t end until you meow, but once you do, they end immediately, like a jump cut. Bundle Kitt is one of the funniest games I’ve ever played. For the price of free, you should check it out.

Nyaa-kuza!!
The UI, level hub, and main menu art assets are absolutely gorgeous, and it seems like there’s a lot of content to play through. There are a ton of different characters in the dialogue sequences but I don’t think it gets to the point of being overwhelming. I also really enjoy certain aspects of the combat, like choosing between different kinds of weapons (including a catzooka??!), and the falling clothesline; I hope there’s more interactive environments like that. It’s so obvious that hours and hours of love went into the making of this game.

I love the art style of the menu and character portraits as well as the music, however the sprites for the fight section just don’t really match everything else. In fight segments, I found you can easily just push against enemies and swing your katana at them which prevents them from attacking back. The boss fights however gave a better fight.
Personally, I think it would work better with a non pixel-like look for the fight segments and change the fights to just boss fights, each with their own moveset as even on Hard, the regular enemies were no threat at all.

Stop Cats
Stop Cats is a small game, mainly designed to pass the time or beat new records. In this game, the goal is to destroy cats that are invading the city. It should be noted that this game contains some minor graphic content. In terms of game play, Stop Cats offers an “endless runner” type experience. Things to expect from Stop Cats are, pixelated not high end graphics, this game is endless, thus there is no story or story progression, and is mainly a score based game. meaning that it’s playing purpose is to beat or create high scores.
The Cat! Porfirio’s Adventure
I have played through this game twice. I think its safe to say i have some authority on the topic of this game. This game is janky, broken, buggy, hilarious, soul stealing and unitentionly funny. the cats in this game look like they will rape your children instead of cuddling them. I had a great time making fun of this game but if you’re looking for the next mario 64 look elsewhere. the control is off putting to say the least. Porfirio’s jump is in a weird arch that destroys all platforming. im glad i made my friend buy this hot mess of a game. its become a personal joke.

Game bought in a bundle or at 75%+ discount, or acquired from a public giveaway
```I'm not a cat, so I have to trust the Devs, that "using the mouse to control Porfirio would be offensive to cats everywhere". However as a human I find the controls so awkward, even after reconfiguring them, that I gave up on the game after just an hour (the rest of my "playing" time is from letting it run in the background for Trading Cards to drop).
It's not, that it can't be done. It wasn't really that hard to get to antenna at least. It's just frustrating and simply no fun, which is a pity, as it seems, that otherwise it could be a nice, casual game, and probably a great game for kids.
#### Kitty Rainbow is the 2D platformer where rainbows are your platforms, weapons and shields.
You play as a rainbow-wielding cat on a mission to spread brightly coloured joy by removing bumble bees, off-beat music, and other unpleasant things. Your rainbows protect you from the bad things that can kill you and also provide you with platforms to walk and jump on.
![](https://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1389580/extras/rline.png?t=1631379446)
#### Cat on a rainbow
Chasing you is the misery ghost who lurks near you at the start of every level. Initially stunned for several seconds the misery ghost wants to keep everything dull, grey and joyless. Spend too long shooting rainbows and jumping on rainbows and the ghost hunts you with increasing ferocity.
#### Mysterache is your magical feline friend
At the top of every level the Persian cat Mysterache is there to greet you. In his palace he offers you a random choice of three powerful permanent rewards to aid you on your rainbow mission. Touching his face removes all remaining enemies in play with his magic words and vanquishes the misery ghost.
To help you there are items to collect that appear when an enemy dies. Collect 7 gems of each rainbow colour and Mysterache automatically grants you another run at a level if you die - very handy since you only start with one life! ## The Cat and the Coup
The free and very short documentary puzzle game The Cat and the Coup is a gem that i find myself returning to after few years of time away as it simply is such an unique and charming experience in its approach of serious matters of political events that still marks the world of present day.
The game puts you in the role of the cat of the Prime Minister of Iran, Mohammed Mossadegh while the historical events unfolds and his subsequent downfall through a CIA and MI6 engineered coup during the 1950ies which further bricks the road for the eventual iranian revolution two and a half decade later.
A short historical docu-game that showcases a timeline of Iran's Dr Mossadegh who was the Democrat Prime Minister from 1951 to 1953\.
Dr Mossadegh's policy to nationalise Oil created a backlash from Britain who had control of the oil supplies under the company BP (Brit Petroleum which was first known as APOC - Anglo-Persian Oil Company).
Eventually, with the support of USA's CIA, a succession of briberies caused a political overthrowing of Dr Mossadegh who was imprisoned for 3 years & kept under walled house arrest until his death as a result.
