MUMMMASTER!
As a lover of the Egyptian mythology and playing little tower defense games this was a quick buy for me. Also the achievement list is a sweet bonus as well.

Fatal Paws
Is your cat a murderhobo?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5cDk-cDNiI
If you want to be spoiled, go ahead and watch my video. Fatal Paws puts you into the role of a jaded teacher who picks up a stray cat from another planet. Dive into Pokemon style cat-vs-human fights in-between an overly dramatic plot that makes about as much sense as a bad horror movie. As a tribute to Fickle Sickle’s cat, it’s touching. As a game to buy, I can’t recommend it. But if you decide to, there is a cat video waiting for you at the end.

Catsperience
In Catsperience you play as a hungry cat that needs to solve several puzzles in order to unlock rooms and move around the house so he can look for his food providing owner.
Finally, a game where I can be the naughty little kitty that I always wanted to be.
Run around, jump on top of the shelves and destroy the owners belongings by throwing it on the ground. Oops!
The puzzles are challenging, one of them took me at least an hour to finish and I must admit that I had some help from a Youtube video with another…

It is fairly fun.
Breaking jars and things is actually pretty great.
The POV is super weird, like riding on a cat’s head weird.
First person parkour is difficult to get right and this game doesn’t really get it right.
The puzzles are not terrible.
Overall, there are worse ways to spend your $10 USD. :D

Hobo Cat Adventures
A fun and silly 3D platformer with a character and story aesthetic like a love letter to Conker’s Bad Fur Day. Full of silliness, over the top humor, potty mouths, flying body parts, and is a blast! Ride a chicken to get around. Zoom around on an over-caffeinated spree. Roll around with crazy physics as a Snowball. Blast a regiment of rat warriors to smithereens with bombs. Hack em to bits with a chainsaw and collect their heads as trophies. Twang your banjo. Help a very drunk duck deny the reality of his living conditions. Drink Hobo Brew until you’re pissing on plants to rejuvinate the local flora and fauna. Full of little nods and references to it’s inspirations. An overall a silly good time!

So, first of all, I have to say this game was my first Steam purchase and I don’t regret it.
The funny characters, the varied places as well as the many possibilities that the items offer always put a smile on my face.
Some of the collectibles are well hidden but not unfair. The quests that you get in the game are all very varied and do not repeat themselves.
As a German, I don’t understand the Eastereggs that are based on the Swiss streaming scene, but so it piqued my interest to take a look. It was really interesting to deal with it a little more, because I never noticed anything about it. Which of course is not surprising.

Spooky Cats
Spooky Cats, an action inde platformer made by Russpuppy is a masterpeice, and here’s why.
Ever since I was a little boy I’ve always been scared of cats. They would meow at me, or even try to attack me before I ran away with great speed. At first, I though this game would be horrible, that it would be a really bad steam game and thats it, boy was I wrong.
The start of the game made me almost stop play instantly, I do not like cats, and even less when they are spooky. I managed to load up the game and play the first level. I felt amazing. Killing all the spooky cats I have been fighting for years. I powerd through the entire game in 1 sitting, and then I played it again. Amazed by the final boss and its dialog, and by the number of different mobs and sprites there was in the game I kept playing, and it was amazing.

When I picked this up, I honestly thought I was just going to waste a dollar. There aren’t many non-sarcastic reviews on here, so I really had no idea what was in store.
This is a freaking adorable little puzzle-platformer. The puzzles are pretty easy; find the key, open the lock, find the little girl and reunite her with the ghost. The levels have slight branching as you get further in, but not to the point where you end up lost. The music is really solid; even though there’s only three tracks, they’re pretty enjoyable. One of them is a bit startling, being louder and faster than the other two, but still surprisingly fitting. The controls are dependable and glitch-free, which isn’t always the case in an indie platformer. Hit detection is actually spot-on, a welcome change from some of the other atrocities I’ve picked up on coupon. Really, my only complaint thus far is that I can’t spend all those pennies I’ve been picking up. o.0

Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno
I would honestly recommend this game so much. It’s so well made along with having a 3-Part Game Series already (this being the 3rd). I’d recommend playing if you like Visual novels in general. I’d also recommend you’d play the last 2 games first before this one since they deserve some love and also add up to the story into this one so everything makes sense. It’s kinda sad for how underrated this game series is and yet it’s made and done so well. Hopefully this gains more attention!

Patches' Infurno, oh boy, oh boy is it a long one, 2 hours with breaks and a fail to complete with the first try, half an hour later with skipping, but the thing is, it’s the most linear. After getting the worst and best endings you are left with nothing much left to explore besides maybe a mixed path. You can also see in this one the bias towards the best endings in the series, with them getting extra scenes and text if followed even though the game is literally called Patches' Infurno, with the name visibly meant to mimic Dante’s Inferno from where you only go deeper so a little more content for the worst path would be nice if ever planning to actually pick the game up again or make a similar game in the same universe but with different characters or in a different genre.

Cats and the Other Lives
Through the eyes of a cat,
Into the memories of a family.
Following the passing of grandfather Bernard, all of the remaining members of the Mason Family returned to their childhood home once again.
As Aspen, their house cat, players will touch the hopes, disappointments and regrets of the enigmatic Mason family, traversing through a rich narrative that spans over decades.
The game embraces a simple yet intuitive point and click play style, emphasizing design elements based around the behaviors of common house cats seen around the world.
Is the cat just a witness, or does this animal have a more mysterious role in our lives than we anticipate?
Bright Paw
“Bright Paw” is a relaxing, very easy puzzle adventure with an adorable cat protagonist, cute stylized graphics, and an interesting story that unfortunately doesn’t really find closure.
You play as Theo, a cat whose owner has just been murdered. While trying to find the killer, you discover an entire secret facility full of robots, lasers, and other traps. The story is narrated via whimsical voice-overs, as well as texts that describe collectibles which you keep finding. The narrator also comments on your actions, similar to the narrators of “Bastion” or “The Stanley Parable”.

An adorable little 2.5d to top-down puzzler game that has you going through different levels and has limited environmental interaction, but going from a simple home invasion to, well, you have to find out, is like an early draft for something from the X-Files or a Cat rendition of an episode of LOST.
Game-play involves choosing a limited amount of cards that specify what action you want to perform at that time to traverse obstacles and explore the ever-widening story that makes me think of the show “Lost”, where it throws out a avalanche of ideas and design, but only explains a handful. /You thought it was a simple plane crash, didn’t you?/

Chicken Police - Paint it RED!
Great game, couldn’t put it down until I’ve finished it.
Really hope there’s another one in the pipeline, I’ll definitely get it.
If you like detective games, and/or noir then it definitely will worth your while.
The concept of using animals in the art while weird at first glance, really grew on me, especially when I heard them talk.
There’s just so much effort put in the art and voices it’s hard to overstate.
I’m actually super interested in some unexplored areas, like the hive and Roachtown.

I usually don’t play visual novels, but Chicken Police made me interested and curious immediately when I saw it on Steam for the first time. I decided to buy it because of its distinctive art style and the fact that I love crime/detective games like L.A. Noire, The Wolf Among Us, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, Grim Fandango and many others.
Chicken Police has a very special noir look combined with very sharp colors when the game wants you to really NOTICE something, for example a text painted RED or stunning GREEN eyes on one of the characters. I absolutely love the contrast. The idea of having human bodies and animal heads is amazing! Also it gave the game a great opportunity to make good animal related jokes.
