Miracle Sudoku

Miracle Sudoku

The interface continues to be intuitive and follows the other Sudoku titles from Cracking the Cryptic. I really like the variety of puzzles in this set. It certainly is a challenge to change the mind-patterning to look at the numbers and geometry in a new way. At the moment my mind is bent (in a sublime way for sure) and I’m looking forward to learning some new solving techniques. Hints continue to be a puzzle unto themselves at times. It would be cool to see an update somewhere down the road that as you read the hints (for us that use them from time to time) there might be highlighted text that corresponds to a highlighted cell, row, or column in the puzzle so we can see it both visually as well as in the text. Overall continue to enjoy all the Cracking the Cryptic Sudoku apps…always wanting more puzzles! Game On!

Check out all of Studio Goya’s sudoku apps. They’re great.

That said, this is easily the worst one for me. The title says Miracle Sudoku - but there are only a handful of Miracle puzzles in the app. They are combinations of non-consecutive and other rules. This was a huge disappointment, since Miracle is one of my favorite types. Seeing as I had been looking forward to its release, I was less than satisfied with this. Non-consectuive + thermo has probably been the least interesting.

I’ve used hints for a couple of puzzles across all Goya’s sudoku apps, and this one has had the least helpful ones. In one puzzle, the hint said I could place a 2/4 pair in boxes 1 and 9 - when I could actually just straight up place a 4 with just the regular sudoku + non-consecutive clues, no pairs needed. Meanwhile, I had no idea how I was supposed to nail down a pair in box 1. I’m not sure if there was a long series of steps to get there or if the clue was just mistaken at that point in the solve, but it was wholly unhelpful regardless. I saw this in a couple of other clues as well, along with at least one place where they had accidentally gotten mixed up on the row/column numbers…

Amazing Pyramids: Rebirth

Amazing Pyramids: Rebirth

I like this a lot. If you like word games, and especially Hangman, this is worth a look. It consists of a main game with 55 levels, plus 3 mini games.

Each of the 55 levels consists of a pyramid of 7 words, from 9 letters down to 3. You’re shown the category the word belongs to, eg Animals, Countries etc. After a few levels you start to accumulate 4 power-ups, which:

Fill in one letter in the position you select;

Fill in all the vowels;

Knock out 5 unused letters from your alphabet selection;

Discard the given word and give you a new word.

Not sure if worth the money, but the experience is quite pleasant. The animations could be faster or at least skippable, and sometimes words you put in in a minigame don’t count when they should, but other than that, It’s a great way to chill out.

Overview:

This has become one of my new favorite games! I have been playing it almost every night to wind down before bed. The music is very relaxing and with dark mode it’s easy on the eyes for nighttime. If you like the aesthetic of Mini Metro and Hexcells I think you will enjoy this game.

Game Modes:

My favorite game modes are Classic and Blitz. I also really love Zen when I just want to play a casual game. I really appreciate that I have the ability to select the type of game I would like to play based on my mood. You aren’t stuck to just one game mode like some other puzzle games. It helps to make the game more dynamic and also addictive! You can play super relaxing game modes or if you are more into fast paced challenging games you have that option as well.

  • If you like more casual games that you can then master or just play in a chill mode, we think you should keep learning more. Even as you get better you can try to beat each level faster and faster. If you want a game where you are planning ten moves ahead, this probably isn’t your game.

  • The gameplay is centered around finding a word with the current block, this is rewarded by building up a multiplier by getting consecutive words too.

Cinemoji: Halloween

Cinemoji: Halloween

Another addition to the Cinemoji series, and the new game is as fun as it’s predecessors. CM Halloween keeps the improvements made in CM Oscar, which is very good. For me this is the best game until now, cause, as a fan of the horror genre, this game is like a tresure chest, with LOTS of infos and movie tips.

Dear Mr. Drawy,

You have caused me and my friends great pain. Everytime we guess one of your words and type the plural of it, it does not count it. Mr. Drawy please fix this issue. I have lost many friends due to this.
