Viking Brothers

Viking Brothers

Plays similar to 12 Labours of Hercules (just way more simplistic; 12 Labours is superior in several ways). Good time waster. I’d like it a lot more if it didn’t constantly freeze up in the middle of levels.

The main challenge in the game is finishing each level quickly; I haven’t seen any other real goals. Collect resources, build resource buildings (farms, quarries, etc), defeat savages (barbarian warriors), help the gods, save the world. Graphics are simple; I turn the music down to watch Netflix so I can’t comment there.

Viking brothers is fun. It’s not the most challenging game, and of course there are some things that could be improved, but I find myself playing level after level, and will keep doing so until the game is complete.

The game is basically a puzzle game click fest. You are presented with a map, often designed in a way to confuse the eye, with tunnels interlinking sections, etc. You gather resources, activate or upgrade buildings, to gather more resources, and use those resources to complete varius objectives. The story is amusing, but you can skip the dialogue if you don’t care about that aspect.

Viking Saga: New World

Fun, interesting game with new ideas. Once you learn the start build formula it’s much easier, but you’ll still be challenged accomplishing goals. Each new land/map adds elements so it stays fresh enough throughout the game.

The hardest part for me was dealing with the fires. Wow, thought there was no way until I tried putting out 1-2 fires on nearby islands before building anything. That was the secret for 3 stars!! Had to play plenty of levels over for 3 stars so I appreciated the challenge.

When I purchased this game, I had no idea what I was in for considering that the trailer, screenshots and blurb gave absolutely no useful information about the gameplay mechanics, genre or overall target audience.

However… I’m happy with my purchase. It’s not a smash hit, but I think it’s very well done.

The best way I can describe this game would be as a Settlers clone. For anyone who is a fan of Time-Management and/or Strategy Games, Viking Saga: New World will be an instant classic for you.

A good time management game.

Even if I prefer the 12 Labours Of Hercules serie, this one do the job too.

If you can get it in a bundle, you will not regret it.

Durability : around 15/17 hours on hard difficulty.

Tiny Force Deluxe

Tiny Force Deluxe

Played a couple hours and noticed a bit of a bug, all the characters were unlocked from the start, already i have the achievments for unlocking all the characters but not the one for my first new character. This I am assuming is making it a lot easier than it is supposed to be and also takes the fun out of it as there is nothing to work through the levels for.

Fun gameplay, but really not very challenging..

would reccomend when the bug gets fixed or if it goes for real cheap.

Really easy to play and fun game! I love the idea of evolving my characters and the boss battles! And the art style is really awesome too!

Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon

Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon

A very fun game for PvP Players.

The units look cute, but don’t get it wrong, the PvP game is pretty hardcore with lots of ingenious tactics.

After like 150 matchups, I’m still adjusting strategies and tactics against different factions as there’re so many tricks on timeing, using physics and unit/skill combinations.

There’re lots of funny memories during my matchups.

Once I rushed 3 berserkers against Perisa. When them reached the doorstep of the opponent’s base, a Genie came out. Guess what? I bounced the Genie and a soldier behind my berserkers with Thor’s Hammer. Then the berserkers demolished their base, while the Genie was trying his best to reach mine.

A good game that just improved on what the first flash game did.

comparison to swords and soldiers 1 and soldiers 2 shawarmageddon

Swords and Soldiers 1:

3 factions, Aztecs fast and hits hard, Vikings good tough all around, and The Chinese having utility and zen magic.

-9 maps, small medium and big.

-has a campaign, online, vs local, al and challenges

-Gold mines on maps are 3 mines on each side.

cons: the strategy can be buying units in the right order and using spells correctly or just unit spam see who runs out of gold.
