Ballistic M.A.D.ness

Ballistic M.A.D.ness

Fun little game where you shoot nukes across a planet to blow things up doing your best to adjust for things like distance, gravity, and spin of the planet. Also it’s only $1, would recommend.

Honestly this game is so rad! for £0.79p it’s a steal! You’d be stupid to not buy it.

Tactical blowing things up with nukes, and also a global leaderboard? Oh yea. You know i’m trying to get the top spot!

World of MiniMonsters

World of MiniMonsters

WORLD OF MINIMONSTER is a game of creature collection. You must beat 20 levels to reach the boss in the final showdown. (This can change each game).

To be able to beat the final boss, you should level up your MiniMonsters. What better way to do it than with potions?

POTIONS - Buy potions to make your MiniMonsters stronger or change its stats. But you will need gold to buy them, then…

LET’S GO ON ADVENTURES! - Each level has 3 different adventures, 2 easy and 1 not so easy. While you are overcoming adventures, you will get gold and new potions for your MiniMonsters. You will need to have specific MiniMonsters to reach the victory. So, you should manage your group of MiniMonsters as better you can.

Are you ready to FIGHT? - Beat 3 different MiniMonsters in each land to reach the next level, but be careful! Maybe the last one is a Gold Star Minimonster (like a little boss with a special skill).

How to FIGHT? - It’s very important to know that each type of MiniMonster has different strengths and weaknesses. Light gets a bonus when fighting against Nature. Nature gets a bonus when fighting Mechs. Mech get bonuses when fighting against Dark, and Dark get bonuses when fighting against Light. You will also be interested to know that each MiniMonster is linked to an element. So Water gets bonuses against Fire, Fire against Earth, Earth against Air, and Air against Water. These elemental blasts are very powerful but will consume energy.

BATTLEGROUND - Select your battleground to get more bonuses for your MiniMonster. Each battleground will help one type of MiniMonster. Thus, it is essential choose your battleground well.

GAMES’S FEATURES:

  • 68 MiniMonsters (64 playable)

  • 13 Different potions

  • 35 Adventures

  • 16 Battlegrounds

  • 9 different skills that change the fate of the battle

  • Random music for the main panel and battles

Have you already chosen your favorite MiniMonster?.

Atlantic Quest 2 - New Adventure -

Atlantic Quest 2 - New Adventure -

TL;DR: Atlantic Quest 2 – New Adventure is well worth a look if you like Match 3 games or are looking for a change of pace. I got so involved in the game, I forgot to track my card drops and that doesn’t happen to me very often.

Pros:

• Decent story but no voice-overs

• Cute graphics and characters

• Can switch back and forth between SWAP, CHAIN and GROUP modes during each level

• Fast game play (make moves while board is in motion)

• Long game (I spend 18:36 getting 16 of 18 Steam Achievements)

A completely bog standard match-3 game, with middling to average music, graphics, etc. It gets a thumbs-down for having thrown in gratuitous, borderline racist ching-chong dialogue for the Japanese blowfish character. Seriously? You’re going to use cartoon fish with a barely acceptable “story” (not that a match-3 game really needs a story anyway, but whatever… …. …..) and just stick some “me so solly” style dialogue in to be “edgy”, I guess? Who knows.

So, the game is basically acceptable (if horrifyingly average) with a few interesting mechanics (oil slicks, power-ups, etc) but is crippled by brutally dumb and almost offensive dialogue between characters in between the levels. And to top it all off, there’s an achievement that just might be impossible (~4% of people have it, but that smells like SAM to me), that of completing a level in 30 seconds or less.

Change based on classic flying chess! There is no end to our flying moves, and players no longer need to worry about getting there first. “Go around behind it and destroy it!” Combat is the core of gameplay and the ultimate victory of the game is achieved through combat.

More to worry about is how to chase down other players' planes and destroy them! Each of our planes has different skills, creating different combat modes and results for them. How to match and use different types of planes is the fun and challenge for players.

A great little puzzle game with fairly nice graphics and simple controls. Makes for a game that I can play without having to so engrossed that I can’t simply get up and come back later to play more. There is a little room for further enhancement especially apparently running on the Unity engine…I would like to see the ability to rotate the puzzle to different angles and make the cards to where they must fit in perfect numerical sequence just to make some of the higher levels more difficult. I would recommend this game as a great casual puzzle type that I would go back and play all over again.

This is a game to plan the way, but you need to be aware that the possibilities are limited.

At first I got confused with the arrows when thinking about how I would use the directions, but then I got the hang of it! Seeing the bear in search of honey is fun!

This is a really fun little game! I think i got it in a bundle, and it has become one of my go-to games when i only have a few mins available to play. The games are quick, animations are cute, easily worth the couple dollars price tag.

Cute, funny version of good old Battleship. The little cakes react to what’s happening on the board, and the various avatars (you can pick yours, the opponent gets a random one when playing against the AI) also have their own reaction. Makes me smile. :)

The background screen is also interactive, stuff happens when you click on it. Overall very playful, friendly style. :)

You can play against an AI with 3 difficulty options, and there’s the option to play against someone on Steam, worldwide, or LAN. I just tested the worldwide one so I can finally post this review, and it was fun. :) (I lost.) There’s a 30 sec timer per turn, that resets when you hit a cake. (I wonder where I can enter my name though, it just said ‘Player’, while the other player had a name shown.)
