Haunt the House: Terrortown is a charming side-scrolling game, in which you play as a mischievous little ghost. When the night falls, you float from your home in an old clocktower and start wandering around the town, scaring people to death. You can possess objects and interact with them, making townfolks running away terrified.
The game has colorful and cartoony graphics that really stand out. Each playable ghost has its own style and signature howling.
The soundtrack is fitting and catchy, I really love the North Pole theme.

How to say Goodbye
Once upon a time on the other side
How to say Goodbye tells the story of a character recently turned into a ghost, lost in an unknown world populated by spirits.
In this narrative puzzle game, move the element of decor and the characters to guide the characters out of the liminal space between life and death in which they are trapped.
Help them find their friends who are prisoners of a mysterious wizard and accompany them on their journey to the other side.
Ghosts on a grid
The goal of each level in How to Say Goodbye is to guide your group of ghosts to the exit, symbolized by a door. To do so, move the scenery on a grid and make your way to the door.
But dark forces seem to be holding you back against your will. Lost spirits called spleens will try to prevent you from escaping the liminal space by blocking the way to the door.
Find your friends, avoid the spleens and find your way out of the liminal space!
Someday my ghost will come
Inspired by illustration and children’s literature (Tomi Ungerer, Tove Jansson, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Maurice Sendak…), How to say Goodbye deals with the theme of grief with kindness and sensitivity.
Still shocked by their recent passing, the ghosts of How to say Goodbye try their best to leave the liminal space they are trapped in. Together, they will have to discover how to mourn in order to accept their own death, and “move on”.

She Doesn’t Walk
Just no lmao. I could’ve bought a pack of gummy bears instead. Don’t waste your money on this broke game.

I would recommend this game since it is a first time developer and the game looks great and I am interested in seeing what they make next. Overall this game was okay but had flaws. If you want to watch my play through check out the video below:

Adam Wolfe
Adam Wolfe is a hybrid between Hidden Object and Adventure genres. You play as a paranormal investigator that has to solve 4 strange cases.
Gameplay:
In this game you control the eponymous Adam Wolfe, a private detective that solves other people’s problems, whilst trying to look for his missing sister. The core gameplay is solving puzzles and looking for useful items that are hidden within the game world. Most puzzles are very simple, and can be solved within a minute, yet there are a few ones that can take longer to figure out. I was very surprised by the amount of interaction within the game - you are in control of almost everything. For example: using the fire extinguisher doesn’t just consist of “combining” it with flames, you also need to manually spray it to extinguish the ongoing flames one by one. It’s a very welcome change from all the “stiff” HOGs that I’ve played before.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10
Really interesting HOPA, fairly unique in the more Narrative driven game, with a decently good story. A bit odd for some people perhpas, dark and occult themed. But I really enjoyed the blood, violence, occulty theme and bizzare goings on, and hideous demon type characters.
Definitely not for kids. No nudity, but the subject matter is not light-hearted, and the story does have a somewhat somber ending. People sensitive to paranormal, occult, dark themes that invlove violence, blood, death (lots of death), simulated gunfire and demonic energies… yeah. May not be for you.

Apparitions: Kotsmine Hills
In the winter of 1929, the town of Kotsmine Hills was snowed in. A mysterious fire broke out and quickly spread through the town. Trapped between a wall of snow and a wall of fire, many people lost their lives. Since that day, those spirits have been restless and seek peace. Join The Peter Wren Paranormal Agency to investigate the town in Apparations – Kotsmine Hills, a ghostly Hidden Object game.

Winter’s Trumpet
A lovely addition to the series, and best read after completing the first game (Asher), to better understand the characters and setting. Great art, music, and atmosphere, as per usual. Was also very nice to see the character you’d least expect allow himself to be somewhat vulnerable.

Winter’s Trumpet is a charming and short point-and-click/visual novel hybrid with a retro design and a slightly creepy atmosphere. It takes place in the same world as Asher and Tell a Demon, and players who love these games have absolutely nothing to lose by giving it a go: in fact, the events of Winter’s Trumpet take place before those depicted in Asher, and the former gives us an interesting look at the motivations of several key characters of the series. For people who haven’t played the dev’s other games, beginning with Winter’s Trumpet isn’t the best way to go, in my opinion, since it’s short and the story is a bit vague if you’re not already aware of what the main plotlines are.

Pride and Prejudice: Blood Ties
This game is incomplete - only got 15 min in and hit a black screen at end of labyrinth with skip button and nothing works even after restarting. Appears at least one other has as well. Would NOT recommend.
– Real player with 1.0 hrs in game
Sadly, this game is a mess. Besides the bad voice acting and unclear plot, so far (which can sometimes be common in HOGs), there is an issue that myself and others have seemed to run into where you get a black screen after a cut scene and there is nothing you can do to fix it. You just go to the new area, a cut scene plays, and then there is a black screen you can’t get past. Definitely not worth the money if you can only play 15 minutes of the game. I would love to play the rest of it as it so far was a lot of fun, but this is a game breaking bug that ruins the entire experience since we can’t experience most of the game.

Voices from the Sea is my favorite visual novel of all time. When I heard that there was another game similar comeing out, I sat through every delay and got it the second it came out. I can honestly say I’m not disappointed. Natural -Beyond Nature- is my second favorite visual novel. It’s not quite as good as Voices from the Sea, but it’s still amazing. However, it’s not very much like Voices from the Sea. It takes place on the same island and has similar supernatural being in it. But overall, it’s not the care free and happy story that Voices from the Sea is. Insted, Natural -Beyond Nature- is rather gloomy. It has a serious story with multiple endings. While Voices from the Sea made me feel happy, this made me on the brink of crying at the end. Unlike Voices from the Sea, the choices you make in this game actually do something. Which could really make a lot of people like it better.

Twin Peaks VR
If this was a free product, or simply a fan made tribute, I might be able to recommend this. As a fan of the series, I certainly enjoyed getting to see some of the locations rendered as virtual spaces. But it is disappointing in every other way. It is glitchy, its locomotion option is barely functional, the sticky toggle mechanic for grabbing objects is uncomfortable and distracting, it is devoid of any semblance of a narrative or coherent sense of progression, it barely has any puzzles beyond searching for random scraps hidden throughout a couple of the levels, and the whole thing is over in less than an hour.

Bit of a mixed bag this one. I’m a massive Twin Peaks fan and had been really looking forward to this. From this point of view, I am very happy that this exists - there’s a real joy to be had visiting various locations from the third series of the show and bits of it are really nicely put together. However, there’s quite a few things that don’t feel right and are probably attributable to the devs being from a new studio. Some of the textures and animations feel very slapdash and under-worked on. The Dougie Jones model is very low quality, the deer in the forest is terribly animated, and there are numerous problems with sounds, props falling through surfaces/environments, inconsistent interactivity….not a really polished overall experience.
