Whiskey Island

Whiskey Island

Early days yet, but this game has more content than half of the “finished” games that leave Early Access nowadays. It has some minor issues, but you can sink several hours into it already. Whiskey Island is honestly a mishmash of several other titles, but what it really comes across as is Prohibition-era Satisfactory minus the alien threat but with a healthy dose of chill.

You’ll spend most of your time shuttling cargo between raw material production like the logging camp and further processing facilities such as the lumber mill, all the while having to keep the entire island supplied with…well…Supplies from the visiting cargo freighter, lest you want everything to grind to a halt. Once something is refined far enough, you’ll then haul the final product to the Dock so the ship can haul it off and deposit a healthy sum in your account - of course, the option’s always there to just sell off products before they’re refined but doing so will earn you less overall. The more deliveries you do, the more gold earned and the greater the happiness level…which in turn causes colour to gradually bleed back into the game world.

The Kind Camomille

The Kind Camomille

The game is lacking in many aspects. It is a beautiful game visually and audibly but the actual gameplay and UI needs work.

The game doesn’t really have a story because each character you interact with only says one or two lines so it doesn’t feel immersive. The overall game is just a fetch quest with very little puzzle aspects, other than finding the items needed.

Overall improvements that are needed to make the game more playable.

-It needs a tutorial. Even though this game is an exploration game for most of it I was just super confused as to what I was doing and where I needed to go. This got quiet frustrating as well.

This is charming, relaxing game. It is based on kindness. The graphics are beautiful and the music score perfect for the game’s theme. This is truly a delightful games for the whole family.

Camomille is a mouse on her way to Grandma’s birthday celebration on an island. During the boat trip Camomille’s basket of goodies tip over into the water. Help her replace them with items by meeting and helping the island’s inhabitants. Complete simple tasks the islanders request. Collect all the butterflies and catch all the fish to get the achievements. Pet the piglet, kitten, fox and squirrel that will follow you afterwards where ever you go on the island. Acquire a glider through an act of kindness and soar to the other smaller islands to discover what they have to help you on your journey. In the end celebrate with Grandma and the friends Camomille make through acts of kindness.

Play as a private detective, one of the dying species, that still seeks for the truth, justice and money.

  • Explore the cyberpunk city and traipse through its streets

  • Make enhancements to your body

  • Choose and accept the commissions

  • Collect the money

  • Solve the puzzles and crimes

  • Fight and survive the fusillades

  • Come across the Mob and get out alive

  • Try to stop the crimes

  • Admire the realistic graphic

  • Establish a romantic relationship… or don’t

  • Drink&walk&stare into the rainy sky. But don’t forget to watch your back!

Enter the cyberpunk City that buzzes with the technology. Walk through the alleys barely lit by the light of neon. Solve the mysteries that cast a shadow upon the innocents, and collect the transfer when the job is done. You say that it’s dirty money? I say – it doesn’t matter in this city of sin.

Feel the noir atmosphere and let yourself sink into this world of beauty and bestiality.

Rain is drumming on the roof. Your pitiful apartment is filled with pungency of decay and misery. You may try to get dressed, but you will only find one semi-white shirt, a pair of not-so-new shoes and a tattered tie. Nevertheless, inspecting the room can provide you with many intriguing details such as the empty glass lying on the table adjacent to the window. It is still smelling of whiskey and if you lift it up, the round stain will remain on the wood.

Always try to move objects and ferret through the stuff – the clues may be hidden right under your nose!

Markets, suspicious shops and dark corners stinking with sewage. All of these are crawling with drug dealers, hookers, cyber gangs and young hackers. Walk by them or interact with them as you traipse through the city. Either way, all roads lead back to the familiar, eye-catching neon. It’s always nice to spend some time in a pub, drinking to the point that you no longer remember about this wicked town.

While strolling, don’t forget to look into every nook and cranny of the City, even if it doesn’t seem plausible. You don’t want to miss a hidden opportunity!

Life is filled with serendipity. How else could you explain waking up next to the beautiful woman covered only in sheets, combined with fact that she’s just given you the commission? How did you ended up here? And does it even matter? The only thing you have to chew on is this woman’s tragic story. It is filled with love, affair, money, abuse – and is just like the ones you’ve heard before.

Choose the job and mystery that appeals to you! Hear the stories of the people and get to know them better.

The feeble scent of the woman’s perfumes is still palpable on your stained, old shirt. Are you going accept her commission, or will you resist those large, mournful eyes? You have to remember that the amiable intentions are one thing, but another are high-stakes – people can offer you really good money. If you agree, then the only thing left to do is to start the investigation!

Solve the mysteries and watch all pieces of puzzle fall into the place.

Some things should remain unspoken. The corruption, murder, prosthesis’ dark market – these are the foundation of this heinous city. Nevertheless, you are dead set on finding the suspect. You have to question them all – the kingpins with sordid intentions as well as the vagrants that were in the wrong place in the wrong time.

Interrogate and collect the facts. That’s the only way to learn the truth!

You may be lured into the traps! Find cover from the fusillade of bullets and deftly escape from the bad guys. Combat is unavoidable, but you have to be wise. There are many enemies and simply not enough ammunition. You may start to doubt yourself – why were you so diligent to accept the commission? Never mind, now you just have to bring it to an end.

Survive the firing and punish those who deserve it!

Let’s say that you managed to find out who the killer was. Now, all you have to do is to choose whether you want to expose them and collect the remuneration, or let things be. Is this worth messing with the most powerful persons in the city? Will this satiate the blood lust or just make everything worse?

Decide and live with the consequences (…or don’t?). You choices have impact on the game!

This was just a beginning, and there are many more stories just waiting for you in the dark alleys of the City. Evolve from a wreck to a true detective that knows the true and manages to live with it. Stroll through the city, fight the bad guys, romance with beautiful ladies, meet shadowy liaisons and decide whether someone is worthy of your trust. Feel the vibe of this cyberpunk city that never sleeps.

And nor will you, until you solve its mysteries!

Dangerous Lands - Magic and RPG

Dangerous Lands - Magic and RPG

I really do enjoy this came. I always had a soft spot for indie games on the cheap cheap, despite most being terrible and this is a diamond in the rough. However, it is painfully lacking in some areas. Mainly a full on map, the mini map doesnt tell me were I need to go for the next quest. The second is the character creation screen. Litterally no options at all for how your guy looks. the worst part, is that the char is described as female, yet is clearly a man. I wouldnt mind this much, save for the goatee. However, I also have a friendly little suggestion, for a game mechanic. Since Orcs drop these Trunks, what if you make it so we can built camps that act as fast travel stations, yet can be destroyed by monsters. They can be upgraded for quite a bit of trunks, into forts. wich cant be destroyed, and can be used to house mercenaries. My other suggestion, as mentioned before, are mercenaries, Npcs that can follow you arround, defend your camps (fast Travel Pionts) and aid in combat. My last suggstion, is simply more merchants, maybe if one moved in to each new area after doing certain quests.

Real player with 5.5 hrs in game

The game is actually quite fun but there are some very rough areas:

  • location is quite hard: you never know where you have to go.

  • Map is quite useless.

  • Quick level up and few useful skills

  • Quite bugs with character stats and UI

  • Can’t exit to main menu from UI while alive

  • Running simulation absically

I look forward to update my review when the game gets updated.

Grow Up

Grow Up

Grow UP (Platformer-Adventure)

There is so much going for this game that I’m not sure I can do it justice, but I’m going to try! Grow UP assumes that we’ve played Grow Home. If you haven’t played the first game, I highly recommend doing that first (because it’s fun!), but it is not a requirement.

I was expecting the sequel to Grow Home to be the same kind of fun, quirky and delightfully-charming adventure that I enjoyed the first time around, and I was not disappointed! The basic gameplay and overall feeling of the game is the same, but the devs have included some functions and additions that beautifully expand on that which we already know, making Grow UP even more fun to play than the first game!

Grow UP is the polished-up sequel of Grow Home. Similarily to the Portal franchise the first game was mostly just an experiment while the successor is a full-budget game. Has everything improved since our last journey with BUD the botanical research robot? Here’s a short list of pros and cons:

PROS

+A Whimsical adventure game with lots of places to explore and things to experiment with. The game is fueled by the player’s curiousity.

+Don’t need experience with the first game to be able to play this one. It’s very easy to get into.

Lots to learn as the game is new and progression to start off is a little ruff but once you get going you start to find a groove and progression picks up the pace as you need to find the Sampler Blue Print as fast as you can so you can then scan the Kelp to get the Kelp Sample. I at first felt the swimming might be a little slow but quickly noticed you can dive very deep and with that it makes it feel more realistic in a way 300M is as far as I have made it to at this time but Plan on jumping on after I complete this review and see how much further it can go I Found a Spot in one of the Biomes that Could Go Way Further down than 500m and That is where I hit the 300M and wasn’t Keeping a close eye on my Oxygen. Graphics look Great all around and has room for improvement if they so feel the need to do so. What Made me look for a game like this Was Subnautica I had a Survival World Going On My Brand New PC went to save Subnautica Below Zero and my screen save incons froze on the screen but closed the menu and then wouldn’t save it had the game bugged out I open the menu back up Save incons still on the screen in the background and now won’t save but give the option to quit but not save an hour and forty five minutes worth of gameplay. So at that Point I Said No thanks to that and figured if that’s going to do that on a game that has more Support and is out of the alpha stage at this Point and still corrupting data like that on a new pc something needs to be taken back to the drawing boards and Re-Worked. This Is Also My Opinion And Everyone Is Entitled to have Their own Opinions. As I Progress Influxis I might come back and either add to or change some stuff with my review but as it Stands right now I would Say dive in! this game is fun but remember It is also in the Alpha and needs TLC along the way so finding Blue Prints is the slowest part once you have them you do start to progress much quicker and Remember SCAN THE KELP WITH AND IT TAKES LOTS OF POWER, GET EXTRA SAMPLES On the first Trip.

i love the concept already! of course, its in alpha so ALOT of things need to be ironed out, but thats the whole point. so far ive obtained a breather D1, and im working on getting a propulsion device. so far visually, for an alpha, the game is stunning, i’m in love with the character models, and i also love the music. Though, you were a bit cheap with that stupid underground worm scare, that made me scream quite loud. i’m an avid subnautica player, having over 70 hours on both below zero and the original. and this game gives me the EXACT same vibes, i read through all of the logs aswell! i like that fabrication is a proximity thing, instead of a prompt to open it. reminds me of terraria.
